11 Training like the world will end

As I sat in my room, looking at Jon, I thought about how happy I am that my transformation was already finnished. I mean look at him! Apart from the black waste oozing out of his skin I can hear a myriad of eerie sounds such as a watery noise that sounded very similar to when you try to clench your fist with water inside. Yikes.

Anyway, after his transformation I think it's going to be pretty easy to convince him to go along with my plan. After everything he just experienced it would actually be stranger if he didn't believe what I told him.

Time for more planning!

I recon the cablemachines will be here in a few more days. Until then, we can train using the baseballbats. I go watch youtube videos on how to use the baseballbat in combat. Yes, they exist. Spending 20 minutes on youtube so that I can use them for more than the most basic ooga-booga-brain swings is more than worth it in my book.

After I finish looking through the videos I order two punchingbags online since they are apparantly very useful for practising with blunt weapons. I then start practising one-armed swings for 10 minutes on both arms with frequent breaks. Even I was surprised by how little endurance I had until I remember that at this point in time I'm still very unfit and -physically gifted- doesn't provide direct increase in endurance. I rest for an hour or so, cook myself a protein rich meal. An hour after the meal I go outside to do high intensity interval training, HIIT, and alternate between sprinting and other exercises during the "high intensity" period.

I won't jog though. Jogging is bad for your joints. It's much better to just do HIIT or regular interval training. The reason why I sprint is because I need the functional strenght that comes along with the motion. Having a strong heart and lungs wont be very useful by themselves when I need to run from threats.

Once I get back I take a quick shower with no cleaning products. After I get out I take another hour long break only to then start practising my two-handed swings.

I'm spent. I'm glad I have the mentality from my past life as I doubt I would've been able to push through. I recuperated alot between the breaks, no doubt thanks to -physically gifted-. I take an afterworkout proteinshake and a slice of ginger to ease the muscle soreness that will no doubt be killing me tomorrow, after which I drag Jon to the side of my bed. Sorry buddy, you're sleeping on the floor. As I lay myself on top of the bed I become sleepy.

Ahhhhh, this is heaven.
