22 The store

Apart from Alice visiting us later that evening nothing noteworthy happened that day. That's why I set aside some time to once again collected my thoughts so that I could ask the system a bunch of questions I've been meaning to ask for a while now.

Before I do that though I quietly meditate for about twenty minutes so won't feel anything once the system enevitably starts dissapointing me.

'What is the apocalypse?'

What? Not just humans? I mean it makes sense. In the end we're animals just like the rest, only lucky enough to have been blessed with a high capability of learning coupled with a physique that can take advantage of that.

Since question about the apocalypse won't get me any useful information I'll try asking about other things.

'Wait, you had a shop?!?! Why didn't you tell me earlier!?! Actually, you're just gonna answer with 'because you didn't ask' so please stay quiet.'

Did it just click it's tongue? Did my system just click it's tongue at me? Once again I pray, hoping for the day when I will get a functional system.

[As the name implies it's a random draw. You can get trash tier loot or god tier loot. The limited gachas have loot unavailable in the shop, general gacha have all the loot in the shop and the beginner gacha is just a cheaper version of general gacha. You can only purchase two beginner gacha.]

I exit gacha pulls and press equipment.

As the function is pretty self explanatory I go through all the options. At the top of them all are the extremely pricey things worth 100000 Gm like spacecrafts capable of moving faster than dark matter or swords made from a portion of the extremely dense leftovers from a dead white dwarf. As you scroll down you see cheaper items like telepathy javelin sold for 300 Gm or diamond light armor sold for 500 Gm.

I exit the the equipment portion and view the final gifts portion. This is the one I'm most interested in.
