Chapter 22:Making a Mystical Forest

At the end of the day, my Inner World has developed hills in the northeast, the forest has expanded east more, the lake became giant and looks like it's trying to become a river that's going northeast to southwest.

Inside the forest, more slimes were added into the pit because I made the Goblins capture any slimes they found. Since there are more slimes, the rate at which they absorb the aphrodisiacs has gone up. Although saying that, the slimes has absorbed 4/9 of the aphrodisiacs so far.

When Willow found my slime pit, she was interested at first but became uninterested after I told her what I was doing and showed her the research books.

Speaking of Willow, the witches have been using the altar a lot since I "upgraded" it.

While I was bored, I tried increasing the altar's power even more. It was just somewhat satisfying watching the number go up.

After reading about what increases the altar's power, I decide to switch the trees around the altar to something better.

Burning every tree within 32m of the altar to ash, I made fertilizer out of SSS+ rank dragon poop, A+ rank dragon grind bones, and ashes of the burned trees for the new trees I'm going to plant.

When the witches came back and saw the burned forest, their jaw dropped while their bodies frozen from shock.

Knowing how this is going to end if I didn't say anything from anime, I explained in clear detail my thought process of why I burned down the trees around the altar.

After also showing them at the herbs they brought weren't damage and saying that I'm the sponsor so I can do what I wanted, the witches calmed down and help me plant the new tree seeds.

Although the tree I'm using is above S- rank, it's currently A+ rank as a seed. Once I found better tree seeds, I'm probably going to burn the trees around the altar again to plant the newer ones.

The trees we were planting right now are called soul lotus rowan, it'll increase the chances of higher rank spirit summons, slowly improve the energy in the area, and the lotus are good ingredients.

Realizing that these plants will slowly increase the mana in my Inner World, I thought of planting more but Eva told me better plants for increasing the mana in my Inner World since soul lotus rowan only slowly increase the mana in my Inner World and is mostly meant for increasing the altar's power.

Eva recommended I plant silver greatwoods if I wanted to increase the mana in my Inner World. Another added bonus of the silver greatwoods are their ability to purify the area around them. Although there are better trees that could be planted, I can only make seeds that are A+ rank at most.

While I was burning the rest of forest to plant the silver greatwoods, I cut down some of the trees to make wooden golems to distribute fertilizer and plant the silver greatwood seeds.

After planting all the silver greatwood seeds, I had the golems water them. Since it was better to use high grade sacred spirit water, I didn't just use a large scale water magic to water them. Plus if I did that, the entire place would be flooded.

Eva told me to add other plants that also increase the mana in the area. She also told me that I basically just change the biome into a mystical forest.

To help grow the trees faster, I planted earth vein spirit vine since these vines help almost any other plant around them.

Luckily earth vein spirit vine were just hard to find and weren't that high of in terms of ranking, allowing me to make immature earth vein spirit vine instead of having to plant seeds.

To make it easier on me and so that I wouldn't forget, I made hoses, sprinklers, and an industrial size tanks to make a sprinkler system for watering the plants.

Although it wasn't much yet, all the witches were happy about today's work and ignored the tiredness in their bodies.

While I was taking a bath, the witches were still taking care of the forest as if it was their baby.

Considering that I could just make these treasures out of them nothing and was planning to burn down the forest again once I find better seeds, I didn't have that much attachment to the forest like the witches.

Getting into the bathtub, Shomei:"I wonder how they'll feel when I find burn down the forest again"

Eva:...

Shomei:"Hey Eva, do you think I should summon a nature spirit? I mean there's going to be mystical forest now"

Eva:"Wait for the silver greatwood trees to at less become saplings first, they're still seeds after all"

Shomei:"Good point, I was getting ahead of myself there"

Shomei:"Hmmm... maybe I should find an elf to help increase the trees growth rate"

Eva:"That would be a good idea"

Shomei:"Well I guess the dragon fertilizer and earth vein spirit vine will have to do for now"
