Imperial Palace

Su Yuxin cultivated all night inside her alchemy book. Only when it was morning did Su Yuxin came out of the alchemy book. Su Yuxin then walked out of her courtyard. Lu Xiu was waiting for her outside standing silently at the door.

"Young Miss, you woke up. I have already prepared your warm bath and the clothes for the sakura blossom event today is already prepared as well."

"Thank you Lu Xiu."

Su Yuxin said while nodding her head and walked towards the bathroom. There was a hug barrel full of warm water along with lavender soap already prepared for her.

Su Yuxin slowly opened all her clothes one by one. Then she soaked inside her bath.

Lavender smell was her favorite smell as it always helped her to be calm and helped her clear her mind fresh. After a while she was done bathing. She wore a black lace qipao that was prepared by Lu Xiu. This dress was really fitting to her as it showed off her hourglass body shape. Lu Xiu then comb Su Yuxin hair and did light makeup with rogue powder, blush and lipstick.

"Sss- Young Miss you are so beautiful." Lu Xiu said in shock as she stared at her young miss.

Su Yuxin looked at herself in the mirror and smirked.

' No wonder people say that beauties can be downfall of a country. With her face, she could seduce any guy in her hand like they are some sort of puppet.' Su Yuxin thought internally while looking at the mirror.

"Young Miss, you will leave everyone breathless in today's event. Their jaws will drop while staring at you." Lu Xiu said proudly clearly confident of her young miss looks.

"Don't flatter your young miss so much."

"I am not flattering you, young miss. We both know I am telling truth."

Lu Xiu said while pouting her lips.

Su Yuxin shook her head and smiled.

"Are the carriage ready to set off?"

Su Yuxin asked looking at her.

"Yes, young miss. They are already to set off any moment.'

Lu Xiu said placing a black rose on her hair making her look her like a enchanting goddess.

"Then lets head out already."

Su Yuxin then wore her black heel and walked towards the front gate. There was a carriage waiting for her which had General Mansion insignia.

The coach was shocked after seeing the young miss and bowed in front of her.

"Young Miss, are you ready to go?"

Su Yuxin nodded her and gave a small smile.

Su Yuxin then sit inside the carriage along with Lu Xiu and the coach rodes the horse. He then whips it towards the imperial palace.

All the street were lit up, everyone was busy for the festival. There were sakura blossom trees everywhere. The petals were all over the street making whole place look magical and captivating. There were children running around with the sakura latern in the streets.

Finally they arrived at the majestic imperial palace which were guarded by imperial guards.

Su Yuxin grandfather had already gone early morning to patrol and guard the imperial palace for today's sakura blossom event.

Su Yuxin carriage was halted by the imperial guards for the golden invitation check up.

Lu Xiu handed over the golden invitation to them. After their approval, the carriage went inside the imperial palace.

Soon the carriage came to a stop and Su Yuxin walked out of the carriage.

A palace maid was standing outside of the carriage waiting for her.

Seeing Su Yuxin she was shocked but she quickly composes herself and bows to her.

"Young Miss Su, I will be the one guiding you inside the imperial palace to the sakura event area."

Su Yuxin looks at the bowing palace maid and nods her head.

"Sure, lead the way then."

The palace maid then walks towards the main event hall through the imperial garden which was full of beautiful flowers and sakura tree. This was the exclusive imperial garden that the emperor Mu constructed for Consort Yuyi.

Consort Yuyi was a taboo topic in the imperial palace.

Consort Yuyi was the childhood sweetheart of Emperor Mu who he always loved and pampered the most.

But she suddenly died after she was pregnant with the first royal child.

There were rumors about Consort Yuyi sudden death. Most of them believed that Consort Yuyi was killed by the Imperial concubine Nagong as she was jealous of Consort Yuyi getting all the attention. She killed Consort Yuyi by adding poison to her food. While some believed that she was in weak health during her pregnancy and end up dieing in the process.

Despite the rumors, the imperial family never revealed the real cause to end the rumors. But they made Consort Yuyi name taboo and anyone who would gossip about her would be sentenced to death or locked up in prison.

Su Yuxin could already guess that Consort Yuyi was certainly murdered by Imperial Concubine but cause of her strong family background. The coward Emperor couldn't do anything to her.

Su Yuxin sighed.

'This emperor is really coward, he didn't even avenge his own lover despite knowing the killer. Yet not only he didn't avenge her but he is also still in marital relationship with the killer.'

Su Yuxin and Lu Xiu finally arrives at the Grand Imperial Hall.

The Imperial Hall was majestic and luxurious, it was huge and grand.

It was a magnificent and awe-inspiring.

There were many people inside the imperial hall in their respective seat. Everyone had their own respective group where they talked to each other as their laughter and talks ranged inside the hall.

Su Yuxin and Lu Xiu entered the Imperial Hall along with the palace maid.

The palace maid helps her by guiding her to her seat and bows down. She then leaves Su Yuxin and Lu Xiu alone.

Su Yuxin sat on her seat while Lu Xiu stood beside her.

Lu Xiu poured the herbal tea for her.

Su Yuxin sipped her tea while waiting for the event to begin.
