7 Chapter 7: Atesh is awake

For the next few months, he trained to make his elements strong.

He also started sensing the darkness element which he believed to be most useful since it can corrode a body from the inside. But it had a major weakness which was its slow speed.

Even then Eren believed that it was the most important one he needed now.

He almost got a sense of it.

Today,

*Boom* *boom*

As always when Eren gains a breakthrough in an element, a shockwave sspreads Since it was a relatively isolated area, no one sensed it. If anyone had sensed it, he might have killed them so that they didn't know who he is. Even when he wore a mask every time he went outside his home, he didn't feel safe since high leveled magicians can find him with his mana signature.

Now that he had gotten three elemental affinities, he could easily hide his mana signature and no one not even the king could find him.

(AN: Yo! Information here. Mana signature means a unique aura or mana wave length each person has. Every signature is unique. Magicians who are high-leveled can track a person with his/her mana signature. But a person who has a high understanding of elements can hide his mana signature. There are two conditions

1)    He must at least have three elemental affinities.

2)    He/she should have a high understanding of those elements.

So here in Eren's case, due to past life experiences he has high knowledge of all elements.)

'Now, I can even rob the king's treasury and no one will find me. Hahahaha… But there is a problem. Even though they can't trace me back, they will kill me while I escape since I am not strong enough. Eren thought.

Suddenly, he felt that his consciousness was being pulled and divided.

He became surprised but soon came to a realization. It was Atesh's consciousness forming inside him.

Eren then went inside his soul realm and watched his soul dividing to make Attie's consciousness. Even though it was painful, it was nothing compared to the training his teacher gave.

'Hmmm… He is awakening only now. It took longer than I thought. Anyway, he will be happy since I kept my promise.' Eren thought with a smile and looked at Attie's mini soul. It was almost complete.

(AN: Mini soul means a fragment of soul that has its consciousness and is independent of the owner. But it has to stay inside the soul of the owner. It can have its feelings, thoughts, etc.

These terms and theories made me. So please don't mistake it as original and complain to me saying it's not like this...that etc.)

Now Attie's soul avatar was completed. He slowly opened his eyes. His eyes were blue, unlike Attie's natural body. He then searched his memories about who he is and where he is. He quickly came to the present.

Attie then looked to Eren. Seeing this Eren came forward and hugged him.

"Missed you, brother. From now onwards, we can be brothers. I will be the elder one and you can be my cute little brother. Eren said with a smile.

Even though Attie wanted to ask why was his position as little bro, he didn't because he quickly understood. It was because Eren's age was higher than his in consciousness wise.

"How is mom?" Attie asked.

"Oh! I am hurt. Is this how you treat your elder brother? You didn't ask about my well-being and just asked Mom. By the way, in answer to your question, she is great and happy. Happy because of a surprise I gave her.'' Eren said the first part of it in a hurt way and the rest with a smile.

"*Sigh* How are you, bro? What was the happy news you gave mom?" Attie asked curiously.

"Hmph. I am fine. You still didn't have me in your eyes and want happy news? I won't tell. Hmph," Eren said with a faked angry face.

"Bro, it's not that I am not worried about you. It's just that I believe you would be fine. Please forgive me. I just wanted to hear the news" Attie said.

"I take your apology. The news I told mom is that I awakened fire affinity." Eren said in a careless tone.

"F-fi-Fire affinity? Did you get it? I am so happy that I finally have an affinity..!" Attie said enthusiastically and hugged Eren. He also hugged him.

And said. "Not only one Affinity, but I also have two more. But mom doesn't know this."

"T-three affinities? You are something! Which are they?" Attie asked curiously.

"Ohhh! They are Fire, Lightning, and Darkness. It was pretty hard to study them. I wanted to get Lightning affinity because of two reasons: one was that, in my previous life, it was my element. Secondly, I wanted to join Mana academy. Since Lyrica treated you when you fell unconscious in the test center. She was a member of Mana academy. I want to make Mana academy the strongest. With me there, it will be possible. I studied Darkness element because of its destructive nature." Eren said.

Attie nodded his head in understanding. He was happy of being awakened by three elemental affinities. Even though 'he' is not 'he' but Eren. Since they were the same, it can be counted as 'him'.

Eren then told him about what he did and his attending the coming test which was happening in a week.

Attie was surprised to see Eren such daring. But he quickly understood that Eren is more powerful than him and has so many life experiences. It was not surprising for him to be daring.

"Can I see my mom?" Attie asked in a pleading voice.

"Yeah sure. You can see by my eyes. You can see everything I see and hear. If you want to talk to me, just call me. I will talk to you. By the way, I can also transfer the control of this body to you for a small amount of time about one hour. So that you can also have battle experience and spend time with your loved ones" Eren said.

" Is it true? It means I can see my mom and talk to her as myself?" Attie asked excitedly.

"Yeah, you can. Now let me leave so that we can go home" Eren said.

Attie nodded.

Eren left his soul realm and started walking home.

In his home.

"Mom I am back," Attie said.

"Come and eat dinner. It's time for it." Kuromi said from the kitchen.

Attie ran towards the kitchen and hugged his mother. Kuromi was taken by surprise but didn't say anything and hugged him too. She thought that he might have missed him due to his training.

After the hugging session, both are having their dinner.

Attie then went to a room with a happy face and switched control back to Eren.

He also thanked Eren for allowing him to do this.

Then both the consciousness slept...
