swimming day

"How did you reach that conclusion?", Horikita looked at me with disgust.

"Ouch, that hurts. Horikita-San, your words truly hurt me".

Maybe Horikita has finally let her guard down around me.

"ugh", Horikita just turned around and ignored me.

There is a lot of work required on Horikita.

'Should I give Horikita a glimpse of Demonic nature?'.

It's too early.

Demonic nature is not a simple thing. It's a way of life.

Demonic nature is the nature of winning.

Ayanokoji is a monster.

Has a little bit of demonic nature but me, who was raised to be a demon, lived as a demon and died like one, have more experience.

Horikita does not have talent. Demonic nature does not require talent but time.

I can't go against someone smarter and more experience than me. That is easy to understand.

Benefits are everything.

I looked at the pool water. My classmates were playing water games. Some boys were staring at girls.

I wonder what their goals are.

Is it fame? Money?

If yes then why?

Money, reputation, and fame are just tools made for you to live.

It is essential but not worth working your whole life for.

Third person Pov:-

If men do not have ambition grand as the heavens then they would be letting down their 8-foot body.

Watching them playing carelessly, Raphael's heart was boiling with great ambition and aspirations. In her heart, a poem was recited: -

Since ancient times, great beings passed with the wind, great humans and great ambition always return to slumber.

Who has not experienced failure?

If I die, my ambition would die with me or would pass to a different human.

But that would not be me.

The carp swims up the heavenly waterfall, travelling alone in desolate lands and defining the heavens.

Spreading my wings and flying away today, becoming immortal and whipping the phoenix one another day!

Her ambition was built up by suffering.

In truth, her previous life was around thirty.

That is thirty years of suffering!

This suffering created Rapahel's Perseverance.

Raphael has slaughtered tens of thousands of people.

To have great ambition does not mean to destroy but Raphael has chosen this path.

The path of the demon.

To be a demon is to be merciless and cruel, a murderer and destroyer. There is no place in heaven or earth for such a thing – turning into an enemy to the world, still having to face the consequences.

In her previous, life she was all alone.

But she regrets nothing!

She remember the last thought she had just before she stabbed herself.

'If somehow I retain the memories, then I shall still be a demon in my next life!'

This was one of the reasons she was excited when she opened her eyes.

Raphael did not lose but she died. For her goals, it was the best result but for her, it was a failure.

Today she might be stepping on grass but tomorrow she would be turning over mountains.

All these thoughts and memories came to Raphael's mind. Even then she was able to sense a gaze coming from certain someone.

A/N: the poem was inspired by RI. But was written by me. Of course, I would not take credit so read that book if you have time. Pls, comment on what you decipher from the poem.
