3 What is this?

The field seems to be a paradise like I wanted to stay here for a while but my mentor said that we should go hunt some weak monsters which is also a request in an adventurer's guild. I felt that my eyes are sunken with an unknown cause. I didn't feel tired anymore but my eyes are like the eyes of the person who was sleep deprived.

Is this because of the potion drank earlier or is this the side effect of forcing my small body to build up physically? I can't really tell what kind of disease or pain is this but my eyes are burning like I saw some cringe contents.

My head hurts reviving my memories in the past and my mind was surrounded with thoughts. Jeras was waiting at me while being exposed to the sunlight. I returned to my senses and I got a grip of myself. I slowly walked towards his direction and both of us are on our way to the magical forest. I looked back and glanced at Hiara waving at me.

"be careful, Master Magna"

While we were walking towards the magical forest in the west, he gave me a dull sword for a temporary use. I attached the dull sword with a scabbard on my waist and followed my mentor. As you can remember on the previous chapter, I managed to knock down some soldiers trying to harass that little girl. not to mention, it was an outnumbered fight while I caught all disadvantages.

I can do anything I want with this ability but if I abuse this power, it may be producing some bad news to me if that happens, no, even my family would be involved so I should be cautious and pretend that I am weak young boy.

The forest is wide and it's also far for both of us to go and wander around in that area. I heard that Jeras is an A-ranked adventurer hired by my father to teach me how to use swords. I assumed that there might be some tricks hidden on his sleeve. He's experienced in terms of this area so I think It would be better to follow him.

A leaf flew down into my face as the wind blows to my direction. I can sense small magic trails in the forest. Jeras who's quite talkative, suddenly became quiet after he sensed something strange. The ground was shaking little like aftershocks. There's a pile of rocks being shattered and there's an earth type creature crawling under the surface and rushed towards our directions.

Somehow, i find it strange. encountering a monster like this not even in a center of the vast magical forest. I mean I haven't found any strong monsters inside the forest for the last time I went here.

"Magna, step back."

I can see its head showed up from the ground and it was about to kill us with a wild intent. It was like I can see a shark's fin made a move to hunt a creature. This is bad, I used the skill "Strength Boost" I stole from the spear guy I encountered a few weeks ago.

I bet those guys suffered with their low status and weak skills. Especially they are members of Soldier bullshit or something. Forget about that, I should focus about this strange ground type enemy for the first time I've ever seen.

Strength boost; A magic spell or a skill that amplifies mana into your physical body without feeling tired and reduces the pain you received. It also improves your Agility and Movement speed. This skill is a B-ranked magic that most used by students in magic academy and also for adventurers. The effects will go away on a limited time.

I stepped back

My ability; steal suddenly upgraded on its own and it immediately appeared on a wrong time. It was written that I can now choose an option about the target when I steal abilities or talents. the first option is I can steal someone's ability and doubles the effect when the skill belongs to me. while the owner of the ability can still use the skill, I stole but it's getting weaker. in other words, it's basically copying a someone's skill with additional effects. The other one Is the actual steal. I can steal the ability in an instant but the one who wielded that skill would be no longer belongs to him.

I get it now, this might be the reason why eyes feel like it was sunk and I felt dizzy earlier. so, every time I my ability upgrades, my mind would feel shaky and rest would be needed.

The creature who was rushing towards us while swimming under the ground. In a moment he was close to Jeras, the monster showed its image.

A giant centipede that was about 15 ft high, not to mention the lower portion of the monster's body was still inside the ground. I used the ability "inspect" to know more about that monster is just encountered.

I should take a look.

[Crimson headed Centipede]

It was a creature lurking under the grounds, can be found also in normal caves and ruins. It had an intermediate level of poison. The possible effect if someone caught the poison was probably paralyze and eats the victim.

This is a C-ranked monster. A living creature that can kill a single person within ten to fifteen minutes. Jeras is an A-ranked adventurer so I guess I should leave this to him. I sat under the tree and watch him fight the centipede. It was like I'm watching a fight scene in anime.

"tsk, a c-ranked monster? Why is it here?"

Jeras cliched his tongue and suddenly glared at the centipede. He was glaring at the monster but somehow, I can sense that he is calm in this situation unlike me, who was surprised because this is first time I saw a monster like this. Its image is different from a picture book but I didn't find it similar with the centipedes in my previous world.

I feel like I'm a bad guy here. having a smug look watching others move while I just sit and watch. Jeras might think that he just brought a 5year old kid like me to go along with him to hunt in this forest and ended up [having some troubles. I hate to admit it, I stole his stamina while were walking.

The centipede's body color was black, merged with golden pairs of legs and its eyes are crimson red. It clearly has shown its hostilities towards Jeras who just grabbed the broadsword on his back.

I sniffed my nose and realized that the centipede's fangs stink blood. so that means the monster just now have already killed a victim. Now the Red-fangy found another target and that was both of us.

The centipede tried to attack him using its mouth. Jeras immediately swung his broadsword with a great timing to cut through the centipede's head.

In the moment that Jeras' sword was about to cut the centipede's head into half. Those red fangs caught the broadsword just in time. Jeras quickly grabbed the broadsword back with his strength but Those big red fangs were resisting. He was losing strength to grab his sword back because I also stole his energy.

Jeras stepped back for a several steps leaving his sword to the fangs. He stretched out his hand to the target that was in an intermediate range. Jeras suddenly started chanting a magic spell to eradicate the enemy.

'Banish my target with its body covered with flames and burn my enemy into ashes.'

[Flame Shot; Enhanced]

There's a red magic circle appeared in Jeras' stretched hand. After that a huge flame arrow was shot into the direction of the huge centipede.

It was a directly hit at its head and the centipede was shaking and moving so fast in a different direction until it completely got burned into ashes. Jeras lost a huge amount of mana for casting a B-ranked magic spell, on top of that it was enhanced.

He was breathing heavily while he walked towards his sword to pick it up. what I just saw was a great magic spell but I thinks it wasn't necessary for me to steal that.

I closed my eyes and I used the ability steal to take a potion in a long distance. I haven't stretched my hand nor chanting magic nor making a magic circle appear under my butt. While I was sitting under a tree, I successfully stole some potions placed in my mother's drawer at the house.

Actually, I'm really that I was granted such a fantastic ability like steal from that goddess. My skill had no limitations and I have infinite mana and stamina. This is already enough to be a first-rate mage to shoot that intermediate magic.

There are three potions appeared on my lap. I don't know what are these but I need to pay him back for stealing his energy and stamina. If I give him a wrong potion and he ended up getting sick would be a big trouble. I guess have to check on these.

Jeras was wiping his broadsword as he cleaned a treasure to him. While I was using my magic spell without him noticing it. sooner or later, I might invent or make my own skill that is similar to stealing or defensive skill.

"I see, three different potions with different effects."

The Green one is for regeneration or healing; the blue potion is for restoring mana and the yellow one is for stamina. I've already known these things about how it works inside the RPG game I played in my previous life. as I remember, in the moment the person drinks the potion to restore anything they lacked. The effect will happen in a few seconds and it will feel like nothing happened because it's a game. I'm not sure about this potion of how it works because this reality.

He seemed to be tired and unscathed so I guess I should give him a stamina potion. I put the two potions aside to the tree I sat under it and walked towards Jeras to give him the potion. He was sweating a bit for a A-ranked adventurer fighting a C-ranked monster. I don't feel anything but makes a smug face for stealing more than a half of his stamina even though I have limitless stamina. I guess I'm the one whom you call the absolute madlad.

"Mr. Jeras, I think it's the time for us to return home."

"Alright, let's get moving soon"

He wanted to hunt some meat for dinner and he seems down for facing a C-ranked monster instead. I think I shouldn't worry about this. I mean, my father is the owner of shipment company and he might even tell his coworker to deliver some meat he received from the shipment.

This dull sword I attached on my waist seems capable of killing lowly monsters like horned rabbits and crimson eyed deer or slimes, precisely. However, if I can kill some monster with this weapon, it would possibly break. It was actually a stone sword that was about to break. it might even break in no time without using it.

I dragged the dull sword out of its scabbard and paying attention at the sword I held. Jeras was staring at me like he was bored with a gloomy expression. Somehow, I found his body is so mature and he had the looks of a matured person but something like this goes above my expectations. He was like a foolish man with a leak in his brain.

There was something I wanted to try. I read countless of books to learn more about this world, magic and etc. I recall that I can amplify magic to any objects I have. This sword seems to be a good example to test out if it works or not.

I cleaned my mind to lose my distraction and started to focus on pouring mana to the dull sword I held. I can sense that my mana was slowly moved towards the sword I have in my hand. When I took a glance at my dull sword, I slowly gripped it and tried to slash towards the single tree near to me. a slashing sound appeared in a blink of an eye.

The tree I was slashing was cut in a half but diagonally. To be honest, I was surprised I did something unexpected for me. the huge branches and its trunks were slammed to the ground. I looked back and saw Jeras watching me with a surprised face.

It doesn't matter that he saw me doing that right now. He's a foolish person so I shouldn't worry about that even though it wasn't such a big deal. His eyes were shining like stars and made an unpredictable reaction. It seems like he became energetic after he saw me cut the tree with the dull sword I amplified with magic.

"that was awesooooome!"

"ehhhh?"

"Enhancing a weapon with your own magic, on top of that, at the age of five. It seems like you would be worth teaching."

"enhancing a sword with magic, it seems like low tier magic that even a normal people can do that."

Jeras' reaction returned back to normal and started to speak something to me like he was talking to a clueless person like me.

"what are you talking about? There's a light covering in your dull sword and it cut through the tree in no time there's no doubt that it was [Enchanting magic]"

Enchanting magic; a magic that amplifies and transfers mana into a certain weapon or any other object. Allowing you to make things easier. It also reduces its weight, improves the durability and also sharpens the weapon. However, the enchanting magic will go off in around a couple of hours has passed. It is similar to [Strength boost] skill, It goes off in a limited time.

"okay"

"by the way Magna, when I met you earlier. I sensed that there are no signs mana energy inside you yet I saw you casting a B-ranked magic and I didn't expect that would happen. But still, I found that you're somewhat a weird boy."

Weird person, huh. I'm always called by something like that in my previous life. I'm different from the other civilians you see in the modern era. I can still remember that I was named "weirdo" when I went to school in my past life. I've never thought that word "weird" always come in my mind and revives the old memory.

He laid a few steps ahead attaching his broadsword and put to his back. He walked away without looking back at me and I slowly walked to follow him on our way back home.

In the Nacau Mansion.

The wonderful night has come. The beautiful moon was so bright to be seen above. I can sense a lovely and happy atmosphere inside. A dinner with Jeras, Hiara and my family. They are enjoying their meal just like me. I love the aroma of the meat steak, I made the sauce by myself to taste well.

In my previous life, I don't know how to cook but I often see some recommended food cooking videos when I browse data and I clicked some delicious looking food thumbnail to watch the video. Somehow, I have a little feeling of nostalgia if I talk about food.

My mother is still energetic as usual and my father seems to be drunk again with Jeras. I wanted to drink a glass of wine but Hiara didn't want me to. I tried to look around pretending that I just arrived here. the young girl who looked like a year or much older than me was looking my direction as if she was underestimating me.

Our eyes met in an instant making awkward face for no reason, her face was distorted like she was annoyed by anyone. Now I recalled that moment when me and Jeras both entered the house. My older sister was making a disgusted face when I walked through her.

"You stink! Take a bath"

Those are the words that my sisters often say to me. well, I don't really care about what she feels about me and it would be better not to be involved with her. our butler, Jomah a blonde man who was around in his early 20s had his duty to take care of my sister.

Honestly, he was quite an elegant person that I praised him a year ago. he sometimes competes with Hiara who was younger than him by their works. He had the great looks and his image made other people in the public think that he's a noble.

Jomah is the son of my father's friend. I heard that his father recommended him to work here as a butler and his father convinced him through mentioning a high salary in a simple work.

Simple work huh, he didn't seem like he was tired or having any complaints here but I'm pretty sure he already known the word "shit" in his first time working here. his cheeks were reddish and he is likely getting drunk when he was allowed to drink with them.

I looked around again and I realized that I'm done eating my and I have nothing to do right now. I slowly stood up and walked towards my room to read some books.

"Magna, going back to your room?"

Hiara looked back ad faced towards the other family members who were on the dining table. She slowly cleaned off the spills and took all the dishes to wash it. there are no left overs except some bone meat for feeding the dog.

I don't mind reading books with any different genre but it would be better if it's a novel with an r-18 style. Never mind I guess I should get going.

Inside in a comfy and a fuzzy room, it was such a perfect place for me to take a rest and to have a peaceful feeling. I used my magic to make my room soundproof and secure. This place is filled with things I stole from other people, Hiara or my parents might suspect me about where I get these things. Especially Hiara's reaction might be a complicated situation when she finds out that most of her under wears are stolen.

In this soundproofed room, I can notice that the barking sound reached to my ears in the silent and beautiful night. I was lying while reading a book pretending like Ignored it. basically, what I did in this room was to make people from the outside of my room cannot hear anything from inside while I can hear anything from outside. It was like a castle that had its barrier and encryption.

Aside from that, I was thinking about my magic theories made me think of something related from a book. What if I can return to my previous world? what if I can make this place like an advanced civilization from the past or maybe I can make or invent a new weapon that is stronger than a nuclear missile/bomb.

My mind is rumbling and it was all filled with thoughts and questions. On the second time, the dog barked again in a loud voice. I wonder what was our doing right now. All of them might be busy downstairs so I guess it can't be helped but to the check it out.

In the dining area, Mom and dad are flirting at each other in front of their guests and servants. Dad wrapped his right arm into my mom's neck. Mom was blushing as if she was in a club. I hope they won't moan with pleasure again in the middle of the night.

Big sister Sistina was still staying at her seat while being full. Jomah poured more wine for Jeras and Dad. I feel bad for Hiara for doing her tasks while the others are having a good time. The other servants returned to their home with some problems with their hometowns.

I opened the window and I can feel the cold air flowing through the window.

As I took a glance outside, I saw the dog barking at somewhere else. The dog's name was Leo, his appearance is like a lion in my previous world but it was actually a dog.

With this silent night and peaceful atmosphere, I now have a feeling of suspicion at this rate. Perhaps I can sense any magic trails in this time talk about suspicion.

A thief? An assassin? Or is there a demon or an evil sage or something. my imagination is far beyond negative, I can see the image of bad people when I think something like this. I jumped out of the window to check it out. Everything is dark and I haven't held a lamp in my hand.

I don't have any skills such as night vision and I haven't stolen that kind of magic yet just because no one have it. maybe a high-class sorcerers or witches might have something like that.

The sound of a small foot step appeared as I walked calmly towards the direction where Leo was barking at. I can hear the crickets chirping at this time and I sensed nothing wrong. The bad thing is it's a little bit far from the mansion and I was surprised about Leo going there at this late.

I have a feeling that I might get dizzy for this, I can't really tell, where to go, how far is it and about what going on right now. On top of that, I'm alone while wearing a normal suit.

Staring everywhere while it's dark as if I was a person who just have his senses returned in an instant. There are no signs of suspicions, murderous intent or even monsters that was roaming in this vast world.

The chirping sound of a cricket disappeared in my hearing sense and what I heard now is my dog, Leo panting in front of me. he wasn't facing me while panting, rather, the dog was still staring at something like a giant bush.

I was double thinking if I would go closer to check what wrong with it. my heart skipped a beat and I slowly grabbed the bush. i can't see clearly but in the moment, I separated the bush with my both hands, I took a stare at it like I was spying into an enemy.

After I laid my eyes on it for a long time, I started to see clearly and it's getting brighter and so, my eyes were widened up for getting shocked. My arms were trembling and my heart palpitates after I saw something horrible.

I was lost at the moment and returned to my senses after that. my trauma came back for me, I saw this image before and I feel like I wanted to puke and for sure, I can't sleep at this rate.

For now, I think I should take Leo back to the house and pretend I didn't see that. I already know that they won't let me know about this because I'm too young to see something like that for them. I wonder Hiara knows about this.

I slowly walked away, letting go of the leaf I grabbed and return back with Leo. I was relieved that the dog followed me and moved on.

Then at that night, I ended up falling asleep with a bunch of books placed beside me.
