9 Unexpected meeting and Awakening Pt 1

~The Day After Leona's Debut~

'Rosie...get up' a voice repeated twice, to the sleeping beauty.

'LILITH ROSIE CARTER! GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF BED NOW!' Scarlett yelled, fed up with being ignored by her friend.

"Wah..." Lilith screamed.

*BANG*

"...oww, Scar that hurt..." Lilith emotionlessly says but since her voice was very soft and cute naturally, it sounded quite pleasant to the ears.

Lilith sat there on the wooden floorboards pouting and rubbing her nose gently while glaring at the culprit of her rude awakening. Her watery golden eyes on the brink of crying a river and her little cute nose tinted in a pinkish blush from her fall. Anyone who saw her would immediately pity her and feel guilty seeing such a cute and aggrieved expression, but not Scarlett.

No sir re, Scarlett was used to Lilith's behaviour, like always she used her appearance of an innocent, cute, perfect little doll to her advantage, that's what made Lilith, the best assassin and an unexpected war-machine, like who would suspect a cute little child to be a world-class assassin and killing machine?

"Don't you pull that stunt on me, young lady," Scarlett said disapprovingly, like a mother scolding her naughty child.

"*puff* Fine," Lilith says clearly upset, blinking away her tears and getting up from the floor.

*knock knock*

"You may enter," Lilith says emotionlessly, while she fixed up her bed.

"Young miss, Eldest miss is here to see you." Eli's happily announces, whilst opening the door for Leona and Leona's personal maid.

"Oh my stars, what are you doing young miss? You're not meant to be doing that, that's us servants job." Leona's maid says shocked at the sight of their young miss fixing her bed and cleaning her room.

"What, that's ridiculous. I can fix and clean my own room. There is no need for your opinion, now if you have nothing important to say I'm going to get ready." Lilith fires back bluntly without any emotion to the maid, keeping her back towards them as she walks over to her closet. Keep in mind that Lilith in her past life never liked others touching her things, as she was used to living alone, so she saw nothing wrong with her actions nor her attitude.

"Eli, where are all my younger sister's maids?" Leona questions looking at Eli with a questioning gaze, once Lilith left.

"Well, you see the thing is the young miss is a bit peculiar..." Eli says unsure of what Leona is going to say.

"Really? How so?" Leona says with interest.

"Well, she doesn't like it when others attend to her and she's very independent. She refuses any help from others unless she knows them fairly well, it's already a miracle that she even lets me stay by her side and attend to her needs." Eli explained with a sigh, she was used to Lilith's cold behaviour to others. Their Young Miss's personality was very much the same as their Master (Duke Carter) whilst their Eldest Young Miss's being a mini copy of their Lady (Duchess Carter).

*No-ones POV*

A few minutes passed, with Leona quietly waiting for Lilith. Leona had already sent out all the maids so it would be only her and her little sister, fully aware that Lilith hated interacting with anyone besides her direct family. She was so excited to tell Lilith her results from yesterday and for Lilith and Dona to meet.

'I bet Lilith will be excited to meet Dona, I'm sure she'll love her. This will be the first time Lilith would ever see something like this." Leona thought happily, her body shaking in excitement. Finally, Lilith came out of her closet fully dressed in a cute dress in navy blue with white patterns, with an adorably cute white fox hooded cloak.

Seeing Lilith come out of the closet, Leona rushed to her and tightly hugging Lilith. "Awww, look at my adorable little sister, dressed in the most cutest thing ever. I just wanna hug you all day," she said whilst rubbing her cheek with Lilith's. The person receiving the hug was taken aback from the sudden action but none the less enjoyed her sisters loving behaviour, after what felt like 5 minutes, Lilith finally had enough and tapping her older sister's shoulder and softly spoke: "Hey big sis, can you put me down now please."

Mind you Lilith was a really small 4yr girl, where the average height for her age would be around 1 metre she was only 90cm. Leona, on the other hand, was the average height for her age being around 1.10 metres.

"Awww of course little sis," Leona says finally placing Lilith safely down after giving Lilith a little spin.

"Oh, I just remembered yesturday at the ceremony I found out what magic I can do!" Leona says excitedly to Lilith, remembering how her younger sister wanted to come to the ceremony too.

"Really! What kind!" Lilith said excitedly due to the fact that she was going to see real magic, her eyes practically sparkling.

Leona couldn't help giggling at Lilith's cute behaviour before saying in a huff, "it's such a shame that you're only like this with mother, father and I, or when your given sweets.

"But, I don't feel comfortable with other people big sis..." Lilith says tilting her dead downwards towards the floor feeling wronged.

"You know Lilith you should try to be nicer to everyone," Leona says gently, one last time before patting Lilith's head.

"Anyways, I recalled that you wanted to come see the ceremony right? Well since you didn't get to see real magic yesturday, I'll personally show you." Leona says brightly summoning a bright glow to appear in the palm of her hands.

"ooooo, so pretty what kind of magic is this big sis?" Lilith asked curiously putting all of her attention in the floating glowing light.

Leona then proceeded to throw it up in the air, in less than a second it shattered into millions of pieces slowly showering them in twinkling light. "Its light magic, mother taught me this late last night, want to see another?"

"YES! PLEASE!" Lilith quickly said like a child wanting candy, already dumb-struck at what just happened. Her mentality of a 16yr old already discarded and what her supposed act of a child taking over.

"Okay then look at this..." Leona mysteriously says with a grin, a few seconds pass and a soft, warm, golden light started to form in front of Lilith. It slowly floated to where Lilith previously had hurt herself this morning and once making contact with her nose it disappeared but what made Lilith shocked was that her nose no longer hurt, in other words, it was fully healed.

"What just happened, big sis? That golden light orb thingy just healed my nose." Lilith asked completely lost to how that could be physically possible.

"It's called healing magic, I found out at the debut that I have not only light magic but healing magic too and I'm going to be as great of a healer as mother," Leona said happy and proud of herself.

A few hours passed with them discussing magic and Leona finally introducing Dona to Lilith, at the site of her Lilith was in awe at the large, elegant and cute creature. They soon became friends and all three of them had fun with Dona giving the two of them a ride (well more like a fly but that's beside the point).

~Later in the day around lunch time~

"Young Miss" Eli called whilst knocking, before opening the library door.

She stood there frozen, seeing that Lilith's normal reading spot was empty, with the window being wide open and the cool breeze coming in, finally breaking free from her trance Eli came to one conclusion...

"OH LORD! Not again! Inform the Duke and Lady, that Young Miss has run off again." she urgently called with worry and fright.

The abrupt announcement of Lilith's disappearance shocked the manor to the point where the Carter family wept in despair.

Whilst the events at the Carter Manor was in such a ruckus, somewhere deep in Gardensia forest, Lilith was happily skipping along through the depths of the most dangerous forest located in the South-Eastern continent. Everyone knows this forest as Death Seeker Forest because only those seeking death would venture in that forest. Not even a person who had a gut of a lion would set foot there, due to the endless amount of high-level demonic beast that lurk there, ready to rip apart anyone who sets foot within the forest. If anyone was to witness Lilith right now, they would be scared senseless that a small child who hasn't even turned 5 was happily skipping around like this was her own back garden.

Lilith completely unaware that disappearance caused such an uproar and sending the Carter Estate into complete chaos was enjoying her time in the new forest she discovered. All the beast she encountered so far, we're so cute and fluffy that she couldn't resist stroking their fur. Lilith knew that Scarlett was releasing her pressure, protecting her from all of the demonic beasts that would've already eaten her the moment she stepped foot in their territory, but she didn't care because she was finally out and away from the manor.
