17 15. 10 years time skip

*Lilith's POV*

Exactly 10 years have passed and it's my 15th birthday and the day which I am required to head to the middle continent, in Yuriki kingdom where the Academy of Magic, 'Epiphany Light Academy' is located.

Speaking of which...that's where the game is meant to progress with the heroine, my sister, Leona.

And as if her name was called, she came rushing into Lilith's room excitedly squealing "EEEEEEE! HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY LILY!!! I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO JOIN THE ACADEMY!! WE'LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN!!!" Immediately running to Lilith and giving her a tight hug and a spin.

"Thanks! big sis, it's really exciting I hope I can make a new friend whilst I'm there..." Lilith said calmly, waiting for Leona to calm down from her overexcitement.

"Oh, Lily trust me you'll be fine. If someone didn't like you they'll be crazy. Anyway...guess what I have with me," Leona said confidently before changing into excitement and joy. "Mother and I wanted to do something special for you so we decided to personally design and make your academy uniform and today's gown. HOPE YOU LIKE IT LILY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

Lilith couldn't help but feel overwhelmed and shocked, looking at her older sister across from her smiling gleefully while holding the beautiful gown and cute uniform.

"T-thank you so much! You guys shouldn't have...really," Lilith managed to get out feeling really embarrassed since throughout her new life she had received such love and affection which she never felt back in her past life. It really made her feel deeply touched and slowly over the past 10 years her guard had dropped around her family and the workers at the estate.

"No Lily, we should since we're family and we love and care about you," Leona said sternly but kindly, looking at her embarrassed little sister lovingly.

"Now come on and try your birthday dress! I bet it will look beautiful on you."

"Okay big sis," Lilith replied happily with a small smile at which Leona faked a dramatic heart attack at, "Oh! My heart! Why does my baby sister have to be so cute...I think I might die from it soon!"

At which Lilith gave a playful small push before both of them laughed in delight and sheer joy. Soon after Lilith got dressed and prepared for her party, with the help of her trusted maid Eli she was finally done with her hair and light make-up.

Lilith walked calmly and slowly through the empty halls towards the estate's ballroom where her family and many family friends guests were awaiting. As she got to the door it opened and her family, guests and her fiancé greeted her with a warmly with a loud "Happy Birthday Lilith!" with the sound of clapping filling the room.

With a gentle smile, she curtseyed and thanked everyone in the room, "Thank you so much for making time to come celebrate my 15th birthday. I'm truly thankful to everyone here and hope you enjoy your time at the party."

After her small speech, the room changed and was filled with chatter, as she made her way to her family and fiancé. She couldn't help reminiscing on the past 10 years that flew by and how she and Felix's relationship had changed to one of promised future lovers (fiancé).

*Flashback to a week after stealing the Affinity orb*

'thanks to Lucifer's guidance I was able to test my affinity without a problem. What surprised me was that I had multiple affinities; Air, Blood, Space, Telepathy also known as Mind control and Mana manipulation (from the contract with Lucifer).'

It was a calm day and after finding out my affinities I was planning to take the orb back, but luck wasn't on my side. Dalias's king showed up at our estate along with Felix who was silently following him without a trace of emotion on his face. It was a completely different Felix then the one I know, it was quite shocking actually. My father and mother were shocked but none-the-less calm and respectful well mother was, father was childhood best friends with the king so it was to be expected that they acted like good brothers that haven't seen each other in a very long time.

What was shocking was that his majesty turned to my direction after greeting with my parents and came forward on his knees to reach my height, looking directly into my eyes and said "Little one, where you the one who took the Affinity orb?"

I answered with a no but he knew that I was lying and said that it was okay, rather he just wanted to know why I took it as I was only 5 and I technically wasn't of age to use it.

I guess he convinced me to explain a little, so I told him that I wanted to test my affinity and that since I already have he could take it back. After hearing what I had said he just laughed and shook his head, looking at me funnily he went to where the orb was and took it within his hands.

"Hey, Little one do you mind showing me what your affinity is, if you do I promise I'll do you a favour." He said curious to how a little girl would be able to rob him and still show no fear when confronted, she was very strong and stood before him confidently and answered him like she wasn't the one who hadn't committed such a deed. He found it quite laughable how alike she was to her father and knew that she was a unique and special girl.

I agreed since there was no harm in doing so, as he was very chummy with father and I doubt he would lay a finger on me, so I placed my hand on the orb and the multiple lights shone across the room.

After the lights faded away he broke the silence with a statement that shook me down to the core of my heart. "Oh my...You're a too gifted child. If anyone finds out you'll get killed."

"Greyson I have a solution to help your gifted daughter."

"As you know my son Felix, known to many as the cursed or demon prince. He is extremely gifted and talented like your daughter if she was to be engaged to him. He would be able to protect her as he is part of royalty and everyone is clearly aware of his skills in battle and in magic."

"I don't know Mason, I don't want to force my precious angel to be tied to someone she doesn't want to be with..."

"How about we ask the children, Felix and Lilith are you okay with being engaged to each other?" he asked looking at the two who were talking calmly to one another, he was shocked to see that a faint smile was plastered on his son's face.

With the two completely caught off guard, Felix and Lilith looked at each other, Felix turned towards his father first and said with calm and seriousness "I'm gladly okay with being engaged to Miss Lilith Rosie Carter, Father."

*End of Flashback*

And I don't know but during that moment my heart kind of swayed a little and I ended up agreeing too. My eyes catch his once I made my way towards my family, he stood there calmly as he wasn't fond of showing any emotions around anyone but Victor and I. Victor was his childhood friend who was always with him for almost 13 years now, the two of them are 18 years old and are seniors at Epiphany Light Academy.

Half an hour has passed and after personally greeting the guests one by one, Felix accompanied me to the dance floor where we had the first dance together. With a hand to his chest and hand we performed an elegant waltz, at one stage he came close to my ear and whispered gently "Happy Birthday Kitten, You look absolutely gorgeous and adorable today." I could feel my cheeks turn red at the close proximity and had to keep my head down to not show how flushed my face was getting. He chuckled lightly and went on teasing me throughout the dance until I stomped on his foot, I'm pretty sure I heard a slight wince of pain come from his mouth before he shut his mouth and continued the dance-like nothing even happened.
