After about five hours or so the girl with auburn hair and the old man came back into the room. "How are you feeling now Dan? Do you remember anything now?" , the girl started questioning me the second our eyes met.

"I'm sorry I dont really remember anything about you or this place. Could you please tell me about it? And what exactly happened to me?"

The old man looked at me and said " You might have received a blunt force trauma to your head leading to amnesia and as of now there are no ways to recover your memories. As for information about yourself why dont you just check your status window."

'Wait, he said status window right! Is this a world ot Swords and Magic? Did I reincarnate into a fantasy world? Man, this. is. just. awesome. Anyway, keep calm me have to know more first.'

"How do I check this window?" I asked.

"You can just say Status Open or just status it really doesn't matter. Once open you'll be the only person able to see it, unless you willingly show to someone else. That is with the exception of people with appraisal skill"

'Ohhh, skills! I want to know more but let me first check this'

"Could you tell me more about this world and the place I am in right now"

The auburn girl who had been silent till now finally looked and me and asked "Dan you really don't remember anything?"

"No, I really don't Im sorry" I said in my best dejected tone.

"Anyway kid, about this place. You are right now in one of the five kingdoms of the Human continent, we are in the Azure-Blaze Kingdom's dungeon town Hajimari, a town known for beginner adventures who want to dive into the dungeon."

"I see. So are there any other continents other than that of humans?"

"Yeah there are, Elves, the guardians of the World Tree, Dwarves, the Masters of The Forge, Dragons the guardians of the Akashic Records, Demi-humans or beastmen known for their special traits called bloodline traits and finally the enemy of all other races, the Demon Kin"

'Fantasy world with other races just what more do you need?'

'But wait, Azure-Blaze Kingdom? Dungeon Town Hajimari? Where have I heard of this before?'

"Excuse me, old man is the kingdom's royalty the Pendragon family which held the holy sword a long time ago? And the First king was also a hero who led the front lines against the Demon Kin with his Holy Sword and contracted beast the Azure-Blaze dragon?"

"For someone who forgot everything you do know our history don't you. And yes, everything you said is the truth, our first King Arthur Pendragon was the Hero who led the frontlines against the Demon Kin the First war of Races"

'It's that isnt it? It's the world of my favourite Otome game. Not only did it have capture targets and multiple PoV's to choose from but also a adventure and gaming part to it where males could play it too. It's name was Zwasze my Angel or ZwaszeAngel for short a game made for both the male and female demographic. If I'm in this game I might be able to do something about my circumstance but there's only one problem'

"Old man, what's the day today?"

"It's day 16 of the fourth month, year 1455"

'Only a month left huh'. There was this setting in the game, the Demon Kin who had been dormant for almost 1500 years made their move against the races and their first target were the humans, whose numbers are more than enough to overwhelm the other races, even if the innate skills and abilities didn't come close to the other races their numbers were enough to balance the scales. But on the 21st day of the fifth month, year 1455 a demon entered the dungeon and controlled all monsters of the Hajimari town leading to the massacre and that was the beginning of the Otome game.'

"Hey girl, what's your name?" I asked the girl who was standing here for a while without speaking and red eyes which seemed to indicate she had cried.

"Melissa, My name is Melissa but you used to call me Mel"

"Mel where is my family?" I wanted to know about my family as soon as I could so that I could atleast escape from this town which was about to be massacred

"Dan, huh..., you have no family. No one knows anything about your parents and the only family of yours we know is your aunt, who is an adventurer who is at some far away place enjoying her time. She once came here when you were 10 and spoke to you for a while about taking you back to the place where your mom was born but you guys fought over something and she had left you in our care, sending us money to take care of you"

"I'm an orphan?"

"No no, not at all Dan me and my family treat you like a part of our family just what are you saying right now?"

"I'm sorry"

"It's fine, you just lose your memories you must be confused right now. I'm sorry for before I was really shocked when you said you had no memories and screamed at you"

"No its fine, its understandable"

"Now, now, lovebirds why don't you two find some other place to show your affection for one another and let me live in peace for a while"

"I'm not his lover!" Mel said in a high pitched voice while her face turned red." Come on Dan let's go, I don't wanna stay in this broken shed anyway"

"Whose house are you calling a shed young lady?"

"Yours, Old man" saying that Mel helped me off the bed and we headed for the door.

"Is it fine not to pay him anything?" I asked, after all he did say he used a low grade potion on me. Even if I know the price of a low grade potion due to playing ZwaszeAngel I knew that it wasn't some you'd just give away to anyone.

"It's fine he just told me to get him the herbs to make it next time I'm out of town to collect herbs for the guild"

"Hey Mel"

"Yeah?"

"Do you know how I can reach my aunt. I want to talk with her again"

" You can send a transmission through a transmission orb using the Adventurer Guild it'll only cost a few copper coins, lets head over there later shall we? For now you need some rest" saying that Mel led me back to the house Im staying at.

Back in my room I'm standing once again in front of the mirror and staring at my figure.

'I knew it! This was him the guy who is the only NPC who was talked about in the Otome games intro. It did feel weird though, others were just shown but I was described in great detail as if I was of some importance but unfortunately I was just the first NPC to be killed'

"I hope my aunt reaches out to me soon. I want to leave this town before the stampede and live longer" saying that I lied down on my bed thinking what to do in the future to come.
