Hand to Hand Combat

It's been a few weeks since the first day of school, and all that we've been taught are about taking proper care of your partner beast (pokemon), math, and handsigns.

But today, something's different, we're going to train our hand to hand combat, and also fighting with our pokemon.

Our hand to hand combat teacher is Chen, his pokemon is a Hitmonlee.

My fighting partner is Duy, his pokemon is Tyrouge.

I look at Duy and he nods, I nod to. Chen then throws a grass and we ready our battle stance, waiting for the grass to hit the ground.

It hits the ground and suddenly both of our figures flash, you can hear the impact of our fists hitting each other.

My hands already hurts after our third clash, I need to do something about this because my hands might get broken if I continue this.

We were about to hit each other again when I suddenly sidestepped, and did a low sweep kick, targeting his heels.

He jumps and I suddenly punch him in the chest, he smiled as if he expected that, and grabbed my hand.

He threw me onto the ground trying to subdue me.

But I threw a punch aiming for his liver with my other hand, he let go of my other hand and defended the punch with his hand.

I tried to do a round house kick but he immediately did a low sweep kick making me fall to the ground.

He then got up on top of me and put his fist lightly in my forehead.

I lost this round, I was too complacent in my abilities.
