Chapter 2: The First Awakener

Slowly I opened my eyes, raising my upper body and greeted with a new unfamiliar environment once again.

"..."

I questioned it again in my mind what is going on, but there was too many things happening one after another.

*Sigh*

I quickly calmed down and recall what just happened. As I recalled, I first died saving a baby, I woke up in the middle the ocean, found a strange island, walking towards a hill, found a mysterious stonehenge, met with a mysterious woman, glowing lights, and woke up again in a new environment....

'I think its all something to do with that woman called Valoria...'

after processing through and concluded the reason(?) he stood up from where he was sitting. Looking around, unlike before he now spawned in the middle of the day and dry land in the middle of a forest.

"Where should I go now?"

After contemplating he finally decided which direction he would go.

"THIS WAY"

He just picked a random direction.

After a while of walking the sun was already going down and soon it will be night time, I was exhausted for walking for straight hours.

I sat down near a tree resting and then an unexpected noise came out inside me.

*Grumble~*

It was my stomach growling, for a few seconds I realized that after I died I haven't even eaten a single edible thing once.

Looking around I found a bush full of berries near where I am sitting, getting up and walking towards it, as I bend down to grab a fruit.

*Rustle*

I heard a rustling noise, I stopped for a moment and scan my surrounding.

*Silent~*

There was nothing.

As I bend down again to grab the berry.

*Rustle*

There was that noise again, Looking around again I began to suspect I was not alone in this forest.

Bending down again.

*Rustle*

This time I hold my bending position.

This time the Noise started to increasing

And the noise keeps on increasing, even though I died once I still fear death, sweats pouring down from my head and back.

*RUSTLE* *RUSTLE*

The noises got louder.

And in that moment I decided on a crazy decision, I bend down further and grabbed the fruit.

*GRAAAUUURGH*

As soon as I picked-up the berry a creature jumped out and pounce right at me.

As soon as I saw it I reacted quickly and avoided it.

I distance myself from it and taking a proper look at it, a huge dog like figure, beast like eyes, black fur, with large sharp teeth's.

IT WAS A BLACK WOLF!

*GRRRRRR*

Looking at the creature it doesn't look like a modern wolf, it looks bigger and more ferocious, I was thinking which day and age I was transported in.

*GRRRR*

For now lets set aside the question, but for now I need to figure out how am I going to get out of this situation.

*GRAAAAUUUURGH*

The wolf pounces at me again, I tried to dodge but it slashed me with its right claw at my right arm leaving a big wound.

'KRGH THAT FUCKIN THAT HURTS'

As I tried to run I accidentally slip and fell backwards.

*GRAAAUUUURGGHH*

On the ground holding my injured right arm thinking.

'Is this really how Im gonna die the second time?'

As the wolf lunged at me I closed my eyes thinking this is my second final moment, but something unexpected happened.

My right hand glowed and a forcefield was formed around me, making the wolf that was about to attack me crash itself to it and knocked-back by 14m.

Slowly opening my eyes I could see that the back of my right hand the glowing sun-shaped symbol and the injuries I have been sustained on my right arm was gradually healed, soon a progress bar appeared on my view.

Suddenly I felt a surge of power within me, not only that my Physique and Mental Capacity was also increasingly improving in real time.

As looked at the direction of the wolf, I felt calm and feel that I can face head on!

*RAAAAUUUUURRGH*

As the black wolf ran and pounces towards me, I can see its movement in real time as if the world around slowed in time.

'Is it because my Physique and Mental Capacity increased?'

Thinking of it later, I bend my legs to dodge the attack and countered the creature with a strong punch to its body. The wolf spit out saliva from its mouth as I punched it and knocked it out right away.
