15 Invasion

I know everyone has been waiting patiently for an update, so here it is. This book has given me serious writer's block so I started writing new books to take a break. Give them a read, they've helped me to get better at writing. Enjoy the chapter.

Then, one day, we felt an energy we were hoping we wouldn't feel for a while longer. The portal had opened again.

We told the humans of the situation and reminded them that we would only intervene if they were to fail.

The Jaegers did much better than in the movies since they had already advanced to the third generation, thanks to practice with Godzilla and myself. This would be very boring until the category 5 and beyond Kaiju came along. They decided we were now called Titans, and the invaders from the portal were called Kaiju.

Standing on the beach, G and I were waiting for the news on how the humans fared in their first fight.

"Are you sure we shouldn't just tell them how to get through the portal? It would end the war instantly." Godzilla asked me.

"No. They need to think for themselves. If we do everything for them they will never grow." I answered.

"You're right. It's nice to sit back and let somebody else do the heavy lifting for a change." he said after some thought.

"Anything else going on that needs our attention?" Battra asked.

"Absolutely nothing. When things are this peaceful, I just want to sleep. Maybe I'll go take a flight to Mars. I found a cavern with a large pyramid inside. Unfortunately I'll need my human form to enter it without destroying it." I said.

""Lucky."" Battra and Mothra said.

"Haha. I did feel another cavity under the ice of Antarctica if y'all want to check that out." I said.

"Nevermind." Mothra replied.

"To cold." Battra responded.

"Suit yourselves." was all I could said before we heard explosions beneath the sea.

"How are they doing?" Godzilla asked me.

'Sharingan.' "They are doing good. Just as before, they started sending the small ones first. They will have no issues with it as long as they don't just stand there doing nothing." I answered after watching for a minute.

"Alright. I'm returning to Atlantis. Staying here is useless." Godzilla said as he walked into the ocean.

"Agreed. Just keep your ears open. There's no telling how long they'll take to send bigger ones." I said. "Send an Alpha call if anything happens. I'm going to Mars."

Arriving at the entrance to the cavern I tried a new ability. I shrunk my size to that of a small horse.

"Much better than a human form. Now I just need to get human speech." I said to myself.

Entering the cavern I was able to get a closer look at the pyramid. It's design reminded me of something from my past life, but I couldn't put my finger on what.

Walking up the stairs, I realized this pyramid was three times bigger than the ones in Egypt. After walking into the entrance, I walked forward looking for any kind of writing.

Finally seeing something, I walked towards a wall just to feel the floor beneath my foot sink down. I had stepped on a switch. The walls started shaking as the entrance began to close.

Realizing I could easily make it out either before the doors close or through the walks, I did nothing but wait for everything to calm down.

"Now I remember what this place reminds me of. Aliens and Predators. I wonder if they are in this universe or if it's just a coincidence." I said to myself as I walked further into the now sealed pyramid.
