162 Chapter 162: Prince (7)

"How's this prince thing treating you?" Eliza asked

"Weird, it's not everyday I get treated so respectfully"

"Why do people laugh every time I introduce myself as your father?" Dad asked

"Dumb rumors, and now everyone believes that I'm Urie's son" I sigh

"There you are" Rex joined in enthusiastically "Ah, you must be his parents, would you mind if I get some blood samples from you?"

"Uh no" Mom declined

"Well too bad, I always wanted to get a blood sample from the biological parents of a dhampir, well I'm off to get more samples" Rex then left

"Who was that?" Mom asked

"An executive too. Number 12, one rank higher than me" I answered

"You get along with him?" Dad asked

"Not really, he's more of an acquaintance if anything, he's usually in his lab experimenting on who knows what, I don't usually talk with him"

"Ah little brother, congratulations" Stella joined in

"Please stop calling me that"

"Oh should we have nicknames then? Or should I call you by the nickname everyone gave you" she asked

"Ah you" Mom recognized her "You're the one who broke into our house the other day"

"Sorry for that" Stella apologized "Father sends his regards"

"How many fathers do you even have?" Eliza asked

"Please don't, I already have enough headaches. But congratulations for becoming a forgemaster, what will you do now?"

"I don't know, I'll keep working in the forge because it's fun but at the same time, I need to spice my life up a bit"

"How do you plan to do that?"

"Find a partner" she answered "It's about time anyways"

"Why don't you ask one of your fellow smiths out?" Diana suggested "You'll share a lot in common and it'll be easier for you to get along"

"Nah, then I'll be meeting them everyday, it'll be too boring" Eliza replied

"What your type anyway?"

"She got high standards, I tell you" Luke chuckled

"I would like to marry a swordsman, who's also a mage, got decent money, slightly good looking and it'll be a bonus if they're younger than me" she answered "Plus if he's heroic, even better"

"Elliot would be perfect for you, he's not that bad looking, he's rich and he tick all the boxes"

"You idiot" she rolled her eyes "That's not what I meant"

"Well I'm not suggesting Albert, that's for sure, he's like currently my enemy despite being a good friend of mine, it'll be weird"

"How are you so calm about this anyway? I thought that you'll be more, I don't know, annoyed, I heard that dad told me you used to like me" she replied as it was then my turn to choke on drink (Which was non alcoholic by the way).

"What? How?"

"We know you well enough" Dad laughed "You had that same expression as I did when I saw that one bartender's beautiful daug- ow. Sorry Mary."

-Oh that's embarrassing- Ace laughed as my face started to turn red

"Maybe it's because he's already satisfied with Cordelia" Mom guessed

"Why is his face red?" Uncle John asked as he returned with the others

"Eliza told him that she knows about how he used to have a crush on her" Luke smirked

"Ooh, that is embarrassing" Olivia teased "How does it feel? Remember all those time that you used to tease me and my husband?"

"I need to hide my feelings better, damn it. Let's forget this ever happen"

"Ah your blushing face looks rather cute" A familiar female voice commented, it was Lillian in a black dress accompanied by Natalie "So these are the people you've invited. Nice to meet you all, I'm princess Lillian Crimson of the Crimson kingdom"

My family then bowed and introduced himself.

"Is your princess girlfriend not here today?" She asked

"She's not my girlfriend, at least not yet anyway. But no she's not here"

"And here I was trying to scope out the competition, all my efforts for nothing" She sighs

"What is it with you and princesses?" mom exclaimed

"Not the first time I heard that" Damon chuckled

-To be honest, I've been asking myself the same question-

-I would personally ask for what they see in you, you're horrible- Dabria responded

-Maybe it's because those princesses were brought up with luxury and are surrounded by rich and slightly pretentious people all the time, so meeting a commoner who acts wild like Perseus is a new experience for them- Diana guessed

-Lillian stares at me like she's looking at her next prey, that's not how fictional stereotypical rich people were brought up-

-Well she's an interesting case, she reminds me of that one blonde in the very funny show you watch- Diana smiled

-Oh the one with the very funny name?- Ace asked

-Yep, that's the one- Diana nodded

"Well as long as I get grandkids, then I'll be happy" Dad laughed "The more the merrier. Don't worry, we'll help take care of em"

"Natalie, I'm curious, out of everyone in that tournament, including me, you had the best chance at becoming a princess, why didn't you join? You probably gotten 5 out of 5 votes"

"I live to serve milady, Lillian Crimson, I do not wish to become her equal" Natalie answered

"Always very strict, huh. You and Siege would get along fine. And Lillian, why'd you vote for me? Potential can't be the only thing that made you vote for me, right?"

"Nope, I meant what I said" she shook her head "But there's many meanings when I said that, you have potential as both a prince and as potential partner in the future"

"Yep, I quit, you make no sense"

"You look a bit stressed lately, what's wrong little brother?" Stella asked

"Cordelia asked me to go meet her mom the other day, and it's been on my mind since"

"You should be able to make a good impression on her, just show her what you're good at" she suggested

"I can enchant, inscribe runes, walk on water, can cook, amazing fighting capability, breather underwater, can apparently make princesses fall for me, I'm a prince now, and I forgot the others"

"I'll teach you later then," Uncle John laughed "My experience with Olivia's parents should help you out a bit"
