4 Chapter 4: Sweet Child of Mine

Again thanks to Kevin_Pollard, I believe I need to clarify more about the magic - Dalimus's Magic will only be used as Defensive or to add more power to his attacks; as funny as I would like to think a Xenomorph screaming 'Explosion!' And an entire army gets decimated- it's just not the way this fanfic is.

Also I heard you all about the choices and we're at a bit of a divide so in order to place your votes just comment +1 on your choice.

Fate

Middle Earth: Shadow of war

Also - I think I need to say this before anyone questions me. This fanfic will NOT be completely dark; there will be jokes here and there but that isn't the focus. After all if the book was all about blood, death, and gore; then it'll get stale very quickly.

Also I pride myself with good jokes.

Anyways enjoy yourself.

Dalimus crawled through the vents, as of right now he's at his full size, however his stats are all back to 10, mainly because he technically 'evolved' but still compared to his Chestburster self he is way stronger.

Now? Now he's running through the vents trying to get a feel for his body, he originally thought that he had eyes but the system swiftly corrected him by stating that his body emits a very low hum that only a few can hear and he can see by that.

So he's basically an overgrown-killing-machine-bat-hybrid… cool.

Another thing that he got answered was how he would amass an army which was weird. Apparently he reproduces asexually… so him adding a penis on his body was literally for nothing as his system said that his penis is gone.

Damn is this how Rimuru felt when he got a human body?

RIP penis your abusive life is over.

But moving on.

Dalimus was actually decided on creating a smaller version on a Xenomorph. He'll only has enough for one as the smaller one which the system dubbed 'Child-like Xenomorph'

[Child-like Xenomorph.]

[Cost: 15 DNA]

[Special skill: Illusion - the Xenomorph can imitate a child and will have a 85% chance of the opponent to drop their guard which the Xenomorph will use to kill them. -75% HP.]

This will help him greatly after all if he wishes… to… kill…

What is he thinking?!

Kill them?!

Was this what they meant by decline of sanity?!

[Host as I said, don't not dwell on it these creatures are nothing more than your prey… your soon to be DNA]

The system's right he can't dwell on it less he loses his sanity… but if he wants to actually survive he… needs to come to terms with his new body… his new… life.

Dalimus scattered around some more until he found the perfect place… on the vents it said the cooling room which would help him all the was after all apparently for each different type of Xenomorph they need to be raised in different conditions.

Take for example the Rhino Xenomorph - a heavy hitter and a tank, but in order to raise it he needs to find a humid and dry place. As for the Child-like Xeno? He need a cool place.

Which is why he needed to find a cooler place and damn his luck must be good since he found the right thing.

Also apparently laying an egg wasn't that hard as the egg literally came into existence in front of him. Which makes things easier for him.

'System: how long until it hatches?'

[Like all xenomorphs it needs to find a host]

As the system says that the egg opened and a facehugger came out all covered in slime and such. However Dalimus got an idea what if he grabbed a host for the facehugger? Wouldn't that decrease the risk of failure on the facehuggers end?

'How do I communicate to it?'

[Answer: it depends on your rank and status, the Facehugger will follow you until it has laid its egg or has met another Xeno who has a higher status than you.]

'Ex-fucking-scuse me? Even in a new world I'm not exempt from social status?!'

[Correct]

'Fuck'

Eventually Dalimus found out how to communicate with the Facehugger which was by pheromones which reminded him of bees which now that he thinks about it he's just an overgrown bee. A murderous genocidal bee but still! The similarities are there!

Now he's crawling through the vents until he finds his unexpecting victim, which he did find but the problem is…

'It's an infant!!' Dalimus screamed inside his head he may have declining sanity and morals but a sleeping infant?!?!… but it's so easy… to grab it and pick it up… grab it… grab it…

Grab it

Dalimus opened up the vent slowly until the cover clanked on the ground. The sudden sound caused the infant to stirr in its sleep, looking around the room was blue which confirmed that the child is a male.

Walking up to it slowly he looked at it and the infant stirred some more before settling itself back down in the crib. Moving his hands towards it he picked it up, he felt that this child is a starting point for something… dark… Moving quickly before the parents could come back he entered the vent and placed the cover back on.

He found the Facehugger waiting patiently near the empty egg. Then Dalimus presented the infant in front of the facehugger who unsurprisingly had no issue nor hesitation to leap at the infant and hug the infants face.

Dalimus watched as the Facehugger did it's job… why?… why?… why did he feel nothing?

Why?

[Host you should choose a job lest you have an uprising on your hands.]

Dalimus did what the system suggested and opened his stats and chose Job.

[Job: Xenomorph Queen: The leader of the hive of Xenomorphs]

[Job: Xenomorph Progenitor: The first of the first, all Xenomorphs are opened to your orders; however if they believe you to be weak then they'll revolt.]

[Job: Xenomorph Emperor: The true leader of the Xenomorphs - you'll have multiple Queens doing your bidding.]

Dalimus immediately chose the Emperor as there was no competition for it, not only that but he doesn't want an uprising and be killed by his own Xenomorphs damn it! Dalimus looked towards the infant.

'O' sweet child of mine you're special - you're the first of my empire' Dalimus opened his mouth as saliva dropped on the ground and he moved away… he needed more… subjects…

When did he start thinking this way? What's wrong with him?… is he losing his humanity? But… why would he be bound by human morality when he's no longer human?

Is it because he once was human?… Dalimus shook his thoughts away as he returned to the place where he got the infant.

'System, is there a different outcome to my subjects if I kill their host?'

[Unknown]

Well… perhaps it's time to experiment?

Dalimus exited the Infant's house looking for their parents he did find them, the father is drunk watching porn while the mother is asleep; the Mother is easy prey so he used his second mouth to kill her as for the father…

[20 DNA, Level up x2]

Another one…

Dalimus approached carefully as to not alert the man however it was clear that the man was passed out drunk. Dalimus without caring for much grabbed the man and the woman and dragged them to his nest.

Dalimus got another egg this time it was a gatherer Xenomorph, which based on it's description, gathers up prey to prepare for the eggs. Dalimus getting the egg he waited for the facehugger to get the man before moving on to experimentation.

Dalimus, placing the rest of his stat points into intelligence which was now raised up to 30. He then just looked at her, in all honesty he has no clue on what he should do… what he can do. Eventually he settled on using another egg to see if it would give him a Xenomorph.

[Host you should give the body to the Xenomorphs when they hatch for them to consume, as these Xenomorphs grow faster when consuming the flesh.]

'I see..' Dalimus looked around, the area was big enough for a hundred or so eggs… the walls would do good for entrapment of the p…re…y…

Since when did he start seeing humans as prey? His sanity really is declining. Hopefully he doesn't start hallucinating. Back to the matter at hand Dalimus talked to his system some more before he discovered a feature!

[Nest Building! - Every Xenomorph of your status deserves a place to call home!]

The feature was quite easy to figure out… it was like building in a survival game; except for the fact that the building materials are his precious DNA!! But still he can cover the walls with some sort of substance to hold his prey for the facehuggers and the Chestbursters!

However, finding more unsuspecting people is hard, he might need to take a few risks in the near future…
