4 A Genius in the Making

Given her speech, does it mean that it's a private diary and mine is more special than the others? I don't think so because I can see also my stats, and it gives me levels for my spells. I can't document anything in it. It's like a simplified and lifeless gamer system.

I call my grimoire out, and it flows in front of me. Now that I am more relaxed, I can observe it better. Its cover is black and has no strange details. It's like a black book that you find everywhere, except it seems old.

I open it; the pages are white, and on it is black writing where I can see my stats, talent and skill. I observe it and see that my mind stats are higher than the average human, probably because I am reincarnated and somehow trained through meditation or simply because of my race. Probably a mixture of everything.

I also notice that my regeneration in health and mana is a bit overpowered; I need only to wait 10 minutes to refill my mana or health bar – nice. Probably with health, it will not be so fast because if I get a cut, then I will lose and, at the same time, gain HP.

Then I view skills; hmm, so I must develop my talent and create skills. But why is my only skill meditation? I mean, I have other skills like cooking, household, and music, so why can't I see them? Maybe because it's a magical book and it can only show something that has to do with magic? It makes sense for me.

And what is this with race? Voidwhisper? Am I some sort of evil whisperer that whispers to people? I go near people and whisper 'Join the dark side… We have cookies.'

No Percy, stop with these strange thoughts; you are a rational human, well, a rational Voidwhisper I guess.

I should plan what to do with the things that I understand. Thanks to my spatial powers, I can create some spells and strengthen myself. Let's sit down and think... yeah, no thank you. I headed to my room, and there, on my desk, is a computer. "Ohh great internet, hear my prayer and bestow upon me your vast knowledge about anime characters with space affinity."

Since when did I become so cringe…

While viewing the various skills from anime and Novels, it dawns on me that there are too many. Learning numerous skills might make me versatile, but not necessarily strong.

As Bruce Lee once said, 'I fear not the man who has practiced 10.000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10.000 times.'

Therefore, I will learn a few selected skills.

As I gaze at my own reflection on the computer screen, the realization hits me – what am I even searching for? I should look up Gojo's superpowers!

So, I dive into his most renowned powers: Infinity, Cursed Techniques, Domain Expansion, Limitless... As I absorb all this information, my brain suddenly feels a bit overloaded.

What happened? Let me check the Grimoire.

Three new skills appear under the Skill section, but they are all at Lv.0. I probably grasped the theory but need to use them to master them.

Let me check their definitions:

- Lapse-Blue (Skill): creates an arcane Orb that attracts all the matter. (cost ? M)

- Reversal-Red (Skill): creates an arcane Orb that repulses all the matter. (cost ? M)

- Infinity (Skill): creates a shield around caster, giving the illusion that any object touching it comes to a halt. (cost ? M/min)

The question mark implies that I probably need to reach Level 1 to understand how much Mana costs me.

In summary, I've got watered-down skills inspired by Gojo – still impressive.

Perhaps I should also create a skill with my space affinity where I can somehow heal myself, like by manipulating the spatial relationships at a microscopic level, I could encourage cellular regeneration and repair.

Or I can create a localized, tranquil dimensional field around an injured area. This field could promote a serene environment that accelerates the body's natural healing processes, reducing pain and inflammation.

I mean, you never know if someone cuts my arm, and I need to hope that my regeneration is faster than my blood loss. It's better to create something for added safety.

Let me Google how the body heals itself. Interesting, the Body heals when the cells begin to divide and new tissue is formed to replace the damaged tissue... I-I mean I knew that.

Let me cut a small wound and see if I can accelerate this process with the ideas that I had before.

While running to the garden I fall down the stairs and get a superficial wound near my eyes. Well, I got too excited. Now I don't need to cut myself…

After hours of attempts, I've done it! From nothing to Lv.0, and then to Lv.1, it took a few hours... life is sad. I can't imagine how much time it would take to level up further…I wanted to be overpowered…

To summarize my progress, I've created a mini-dimensional field around the injury for a serene environment and encouraged cellular regeneration with my mana. It heals slowly, but it's a start. Maybe in the future, I can be like Deadpool, hahahahah.

Don't mind me checking the stats:

Name: Perseus Caesar

Race: Voidwhisper

Year: 6

Stats:

- Health 50/50 (Body*10,0001); Health Regeneration (5 Hp/min)

- Mana 240/240 (Mind*10,0001); Mana Regeneration (24 M/min)

- Body: 5 (normal Human 10)

- Mind: 24 (normal Human 10)

Talents:

Celestial Eyes (Darling of Space);

Skills:

Meditation (Lv.2); Infinity (Lv.0); Lapse-Blue (Lv.0); Reversal-Red (Lv.0); Mending (LV.1)

Nice name; I like Mending. Maybe I can even heal other people?

Mending: heals 1 Hp/min (cost 60 M/min)

No wait, something is wrong…

What happened with the multiplier in my stats? Why did it go up? Think, Perseus, what did you do… Is it something that increases over time, or is it something you did?

The idea that it increases over time doesn't make sense. Maybe it's because I understand the concept of mana better, but then why did the body multiplier also go up? Don't tell me… if it's that, then I am a genius, hahaha. Let's try cutting a wound again and healing.

After a couple of minutes, I could heal again, but the stats didn't change. Hmm, this isn't it. Or wait, last time I healed near my eyes, but now I healed near my legs.

Maybe if I cut near my eyes, where I feel my mana more easily, my stats will change. The cells in the face might be different than the rest of my body since they can contain more mana and are influenced by my eyes. If my train of thought makes sense, then the cells in my face are a better version than the rest of my cells that can't contain a large amount of vitality. Possibly, this is the reason the multiplier went up.

Let's try it again. At this point, I can become a masochist with all these cuts. Luckily, after the treatment, you can't see the scars, or my grandma would send me to a therapist.

After some cutting and healing, I open my stats again and see that the multiplier went up by 0.0001. I am a genius, hahaha. So, I can accelerate the cells from the face so that all my body has that type of alpha-cells, and my multiplier will go up. I think I will become OP, nothing awful in here, hahaha. Maybe I can even find a method to get better quality cells if I use the same concept, but for now, it's too early. I need to concentrate on my skills first. Level 0 spells are useless.

*Grumpp*, well, first, let's go eat something and then train!

After eating cold pizza, I went back to the garden and tried other skills. I may or may not have destroyed a few small trees, but I hid it very well! After some practice, I only leveled up the spell Reversal-Red to Lv.1, so slow... and it costs me 60 Mana points to release one... so expensive.
