138 Dragon.

( Yuuki's POV )

The next day at the entrance to the capital the group of knights from both kingdoms that the duke had mentioned were waiting for us, The Mismide kingdom's side was led by a gruff commander named Garen, and the Belfast kingdom's knights were led by a young knight named Lyon Blitz.

We didn't need an escort but this was for the good of the relationship between both kingdoms so I just enjoyed the trip, The first night a group of bandits too stupid to understand who they were dealing with tried to attack us but we didn't even have to act, Sif and Byakko took care of them in an instant plus their presence alone kept monsters away, so after the bandits, it was a quiet night.

Our first stop was the city of Canaan, a place that was divided by the Gau River and was the natural border between the two kingdoms, while I was passing through the city I saw the young knight Lyon thinking intensely while he was standing in front of a stall, On this trip I saw that he and the Mismide ambassador, Olga, have a thing for each other and she was waiting for him to take the first step.

It seemed that he wanted to buy a gift for her and I decided to give him a little support, After all, how could I not help a brother who wants to win over a cute fox girl.

After that small detour, we crossed the Gau River in a small boat to continue our trip, Linze got a little dizzy and I had to carry her on my back.

Linze: I'm sorry Yuuki, you can put me down now.

Yuuki: umm no I don't think so.

I gripped her thighs tighter and Linze let out a cute squeal.

After leaving Canaan our next stop was Eld City, at night we set up camp and I lay on the roof of one of the carriages enjoying the starry sky.

Byakko: [Master!]

It seemed that my break was over, thanks to our contract Byakko could talk directly to my head and She shouted to me urgently what problem was approaching, and all the animals and birds in the forest began to riot and immediately afterward a large black monster flew over us.

Yuuki: [what was that?]

Byakko: [That was a dragon Master, that youngster must have left the dragon territory to cause a ruckus. ]

That doesn't sound good, I jumped down from the carriage and the girls and soldiers had already gathered to discuss the situation.

Garen: What is a dragon doing here? Did someone trespass on their sacred territory?

Yuuki: That doesn't matter now, he's heading to Eld City, we have to stop him before someone gets seriously hurt.

I transformed into my dragonewt form and I flew behind the black dragon, Mittelt and Kalawarner flew after me, On the ground the others were riding Sif and Byakko who had transformed into their large forms.

I flew at full speed but when I reached the city of Eld the black dragon was spitting fireballs all over the place, Some buildings were on fire and citizens were running for their lives.

Yuuki: You two save everyone down there, I'll take care of this guy.

I opened a portal near the dragon and before he noticed my presence I sent him into the portal with a [Boost] punch, I went through the portal and we ended up in a clearing a little far from the city.

Black dragon: [ Damn worm! How dare you hit me. ]

I guess because of my dragon blood the dragon's growls were directly translated into words for me.

Yuuki: I'm going to do much more than that if you don't return to your territory right now.

Black dragon: [ You think I'm going to waste my chance to have some fun. ]

Yuuki: That's what you call this, fun, maybe you're too stupid to let live.

While I was talking to the dragon Byakko appeared with Yumina and Asia on her back, I was about to tell them to stay back but the next thing the dragon said left me speechless.

Black dragon: [umm those humans seem pretty delicious, after I'm done with you I'm going to enjoy eating those two.]

I glared at the black dragon and I began to tremble in quiet fury, my blood was burning and my body was engulfed in purple flames.

I blinked and the scene changed in an instant, I was in my inner world and my anger was reflected there with thunderstorms in the sky, trees shaking violently and powerful waves crashing against the trees.

*ROARRRR*

Below me, the dragon inside me let out a powerful roar as he tried to get out of the water but the most he could do was free his hands.

Yuuki: I understand, you want to go out and vent some of that anger.

I think the smartest thing would be to try to calm down because it doesn't matter if your enemy is much weaker than you, If you fight blinded by fury you give your enemy a chance to turn the table against you, That being said, I didn't feel particularly smart after he threatened my family.

Yuuki: Alright, time to go a little wild.

I was my eyes trying to let myself bathe in the environment around me and then I sank into my mind and the dragon inside me burst out of the water completely.
