"Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary, seeing as you've opted to shadow a Huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you, we will not be establishing a single base of operations; rather, we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I packed all of our essentials myself, plotted our air course, and readied the airship. And... It's Doctor Oobleck. I didn't earn the Ph.D. for fun, thank you very much!" Oobleck spoke as he began to board the airship

"Come now, children; according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind!" Oobleck

"What a strange creature, that one," Kira said earning a chuckle from Ruby as he also boarded the ship while the others followed behind him

Sitting down on the airship as it moved through the sky Kira couldn't help but start to doze off to sleep, that was until Ruby laid her head on his lap, meanwhile, Zwei was laying beside Kira, Looking around at everyone Kira began to think how they would react if e ever decided to show them a fracture of his power, because technically speaking if he desired he could more then likely wipe this solar system out of existence if he went full power, and that's with ease

"Hey, Kira?" Ruby's voice came into Kira's ears snapping him out of his thought,

"Hmm? what up?" Kira

"I just wanted to know, what do you want for Christmas?" Ruby

"Hmmm, how about, You," Kira said as he ran his hands through her hair, this caused her face to turn red

"Hey hey, calm down there cowboy!" Yang said in a playful tone, Kira only smiled as he looked up into Yang's eyes and spoke these words

"Yo sista's a freak," Kira, When he said this everyone's face went bright red, especially Ruby's, who started to hit Kira as she told him to be quiet

'Hmm, I wonder, what would happen if I went great ape and then used the armored titan transformation' Kira thought to himself as he and the others walked through a destroyed city, they all were talking, but Kira was thinking of ways to fuse some of his skills together

'Wait, what about my great ape form mixed with the armored titan as well as Susanoo' Kira was thinking until he was broken out of his concentration when Ruby spoke to him

"S-so, when you said you wanted me, what did you mean," Ruby asked Kira as she slides next to him, Kira could only look at her with a smile

"Hehehe," Kira could only laugh as he pulled her into his arm as he continued to walk

"So, what are your orders, Doctor?" Blake

"Oobleck: Ah, yes, straight to the chase; I like it! As you've been informed, the southeast area has been marked as a recent hot spot for Grimm activity. Now, there are several possible explanations for this behavior, one of which being... Grimm." Oobleck

"Uhh What?" Yang

"There's a Grimm to the left, about a hundred yards away, give or take," Kira said causing the girls to fling their head to the left, seeing a lone beowolf in the middle of an empty street, the Girls then took out their weapons and prepared to attack

"Wait!" Oobleck

"Huh?" Blake lowered her weapon in confusion like the others

"There are a number of reasons why Grimm will congregate in this particular area, the most likely of which will be their attraction to negativity: sadness, envy, loneliness, hatred. All qualities that are likely held by our hidden group harboring ill intent." Oobleck

"So....what now?" Ruby

"I say we wait, if this Grimm could lead us to its pack, then they might be able to lead us to our prey," Kira said receiving a now from Oobleck

"Precisely, I must say Mr. Kira, you are quickly becoming my favorite," Oobleck

"So....how long do we wait?" Blake

"It's uncertain. Hours, days, weeks. Why lone Grimm have been known to stay isolated from the pack for months - and there's the whole pack." Oobleck said as he noticed another five beowolf's come out of an abandoned building

"What?" Blake

"And now they've seen us." Oobleck

"What?!" Blake

"AND NOW THEY'VE SEEN US!" Oobleck

"I take it tracking them is out of the question?" Ruby

"An accurate assumption, yes." Oobleck

"What's the plan, then?" Yang said as team Rwby turns to their teacher as the creatures close in

"Show me what you're capable of." Oobleck

"Y'all are so dramatic, I swear it's like you all forget what I'm capable of," Kira said as he twisted his body towards the Grimm and raised his hand, causing multiple spikes to come out of the ground and to pierce through their body's killing all of them in an instant

"Heh. Piece of cake!" Ruby said as she grabbed ahold of Kira's arm again

"Do not celebrate yet, for I am certain this is the first bout of many. Shall we continue?" Oobleck

"Excellent work!! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any signs of criminal operations in this sector. Oh, well! Moving on!" Oobleck

'It's been five hours since we've arrived, and yet no signs of life other than the Grimm, hmmm,' Kira

'What are you doing?' Ban

'Oh, I got to make it look like I actually care,' Kira

'Yeah, I guess, so, what do you plan on getting everyone for Christmas?' Ban

'I don't know, I got Ruby something, maybe I'll just cook for everyone,' Kira

'Hmm, that could work,' Ban

"Hey, Doc, y'know, I was actually looking forward to seeing a "pro-Huntsman" in action. Like, fighting, or at least, helping us fight?" Yang

"Ah, but I am in action! Scouring the ruins of this once-great city for any signs of irregularity! Not every mission is filled with daring and heroism, girls. Sometimes it's just a heightened form of extermination! Remember, this is a job, and you all signed up for it. I do hope you understand that." Oobleck said as he began to get serious towards the end

"Well, yeah... O-Of course!" Yang

"Fucking hell these things are annoying," Kira said as he just finished off another batch of Grimm, just as he said that he heard Oobleck ask Yang a question

"Why did you choose this line of work?" Oobleck

"Well, to fight monsters and save-" Yang was saying but was cut off

"No, that is what you do. I want to know why you do it. The honest reason as to why you want to be a Huntress." Oobleck

"The honest reason? I'm a thrill-seeker. I want to travel around the world and get wrapped up in as many crazy adventures as I can. And if I help people along the way, then that's even better. It's a win-win, y'know?" Yang

"I see." Oobleck

"And you, Miss Schnee? A girl born into fame and fortune such as yourself certainly doesn't need the extra work. So... why choose this over a cushy job in Atlas?" Oobleck

"It's exactly as you said: I'm a Schnee. I have a legacy of honor to uphold. Once I realized I was capable of fighting, there was no longer a question of what I would do with my life. It was my duty." Weiss

"Interesting." Oobleck

"I, Uh..." Blake was thinking but couldn't find an answer

"Hmm" Oobleck

"Alright, children, time to find a spot to set up camp," Oobleck said as we all began to follow him, as we were walking, Kira heard Ruby make a strange noise and turned his head to see what it was for

"Waaaaa" Ruby

"What is that? It looks awesome!" Ruby

"That, my dear girl, is a Grimm," Oobleck said as we all were now looking towards the elephant looking Grimms

"Let's kill it." Ruby

"I'm afraid your sniper rifle will do nothing more than agitate a Grimm of that size." Oobleck

"But... What if it attacks us?" Ruby

"Fret not, Ruby; those Goliaths are not concerned with us. Ruby, not every Grimm is mindless, or rather not every Grimm is still mindless. You see, the Grimm you see before you are so powerful, so superior to the Grimm you fought, that they've undoubtedly lived hundreds of years, and in that time between killing humans and attacking our borders, they have done one important thing: They've learned. They've learned that when they attack our borders, they're likely to die, and what we lack in strength, we make up for in will and that killing one human will only bring more." Oobleck

"Then why are they still so close to the city? What are they doing?" Ruby

"Waiting." Oobleck

Everyone was now sitting around a campfire as they talked about today, but Kira didn't care so he just tuned them out, that was until Oobleck asked him a question

"So, Mr. Kira, why did you become a Hunter," Oobleck asked from the window seal of the abandoned building they were in

"Hmm?" Kira wasn't expecting the question so he began to think about it, this caused the others to listen carefully

"I don't really have one, I guess to protect the ones I care for," Kira

"Hmm, but is that the real reason, or one that you just thought of?" Oobleck, hearing this caused Kira to be taken aback,

"Hmmm, Well, if I have to be honest, I guess it's because I have the power to decide what I'm able to do with my life, I have the power to decide if I want to take, or protect a life, also, it does help that I'll be able to travel across the world with the one I love," Kira said looking at Ruby towards the end of his words

"Hmm, I see, I must say, Mr. Kira, you are probably the most honest person I've met," Oobleck

"Hehe, the way I see it is, if your life isn't on the line, there's no point in lying" Kira

'Lying Ass!' Ban

"I must say, I like you more and more every time you speak," Oobleck

"Well then, I think it's about time you all get's some sleep, Ruby you will be the lookout for the first shift," Oobleck

"There's no need, I can do it," Kira said as he stood

"Are you sure?" Oobleck

"Yeah, when I lived in the forest, there were times I would stay awake for day's, even weeks, its no problem," Kira said as he started walking towards his post

"Well alright then," Oobleck said as he walked out of the room, and did whatever

"Well at least take Zwei with you," Ruby

"Alright, come, BOY," Kira said shocking the girls because he made his voice super deep towards the end

"Woof," Zwei walked up beside Kira

'Did you just quote Kratos?' Ban

'Your god damn right!!' Kira replied as he walked out of the room and went towards his post, arriving at his post he sat down and began to look for anything out of the ordinary, Zwei then came and laid down on Kira's lap and drifted off to sleep while Kira stroked his hair
