10 Chapter 10 assimilation of Kieran

(Arthur and Kieran got to the camp some of the gang that saw us was surprised but especially Dutch.)

'Arthur, mind explaining why he isn't tied up or beaten.' [Says Dutch as he looks at Kieran with his hand on his gun]

"Some of the guys already have their guns out we may not come out alive." {Thinks Arthur}

'Dutch, do you trust me?' {Says Arthur}

'Of course, I do son!' [Says Dutch as he lowers his gun]

'Good, then meet Kieran Duffy.' {Says Arthur}

'Hello sir.' [Says Kieran]

'Hello, boy.' [Says Dutch]

(I get off my horse and help Kieran off of his.)

(Bill draws his gun and points it at Kieran.)

'Hey, Kieran mind putting your hands up' [Says Bill]

'Alright, as long as you calm down.' [Kieran says as he puts his hands up]

'Dutch can we talk inside before we freeze our asses off?' {Says Arthur}

'Alright [Says Dutch]

(Arthur, Dutch and Hosea head inside, while the guys stay outside with Kieran and watch him just in case he plans to escape.)

(when we got inside we sat down and talked.)

'Alright, Arthur want to explain?' [Asks Hosea]

'Do you two trust my judgement or not?' {Says Arthur with angered tone}

'We do.' [Says Dutch]

(Hosea nods.)

'Good, because I think he is useful and he does not behave like the rest of the Odriscal's, we also have lost many and we need more people after those poor souls were lost.' {Says Arthur with a stern expression}

'And you think he could fill those spots?' [Asks Hosea]

'I do not expect anyone to trust him, I do not completely trust him either but Colm's is dead and he is different than the rest so let's just test him and keep an eye on him, he knows where a camp of the Odriscal's and its down the mountain, he can help us rob the train see how useful he is to us it would be a waste to get rid of him now.' {Says Arthur}

'Are u sure about this, Arthur he could betray us?' [Says Dutch]

'Anyone in the world can betray it just depends on who has the balls to betray, and we need to take a chance every time we can get one, I will take him with me and keep him away from the camp and if he so much as thinks of trying something I will put a bullet through his head myself which, hopefully it doesn't happen since with him we'll have more money for the camp and a chore boy to help if he decides to stay and help.' {Says Arthur}

Well then alright but he will be your responsibility anything he does will be your fault. [Says Dutch]

'Keep an eye on him.' [Says Hosea]

'Oh, I will, don't you worry.' {Says Arthur}

(After the conversation we had we head outside)

(As we come out the door we see some of the guys holding Kieran and waving their guns and knives near him.)

'Alright boys let him go.' [Says Dutch]

'Arthur is going to be in charge of him for the time being.' [Says Dutch]

'Dutch, we can't trust an O'driscal we should get the information out of him than kill him.' [Says Micah]

'I'm not an O'driscal.' [Says Kieran]

'Doesn't matter now let him go that's an order.' [Says Dutch]

(Micah lets Kieran go, Kieran falls to the ground and crawls behind me cowering in fear.)

'Alright, Arthur you know what to do' [Says Dutch]

'Alright see you guys.' {Says Arthur as he gets on his horse}

{As Arthur look back he yells at Dutch} 'Send someone when we are ready to rob the train.'

'I will.' [Says Dutch]

'Kieran, lets go.' {Says Arthur}

(Kieran runs to gets on his horse but Micah trips him and he falls on his face.)

Later...

(We are halfway through the ride to where Pearson's kitchen is.)

(I get off and walk towards Pearson, I see him cutting up some bear, he see me and starts a conversation.)

'So, Arthur you here for your jerky?' [Says Pearson]

'Yes, I am.' {Says Arthur}

'Alright give me a second to get it.' (Pearson turns around and goes into the back of his shack for a few minutes and then comes out holding a sack filled to the brim.)

'I was able to make ten pounds of the bear jerky, it should be a little salty because of the herbs and spices.' [Says Pearson]

'Thank you very much Pearson.' {Says Arthur}

'No problem Mr. Morgan' [Says Pearson]

'Do you think the camp will need any more food?' [Says Pearson]

'No, we have more than enough.' {Says Arthur}

'Ok then tell me if you start running out.' [Says Pearson]

'I will, don't you worry.' {Says Arthur}

(I turn around and head to Abigail's cabin I get off my horse and head inside and as I walk in I see all the woman, little Jack, and John on the couch.)

'Hey everyone' {Says Arthur}

'Hey Uncle Arthur' [Says little Jack]

'Hey, their jack I got something for you' {Says Arthur}

'Really, what is it?' [Asks Jack]

(I put my hand into the satchel on my back and pull out a necklace, I show it to jack.)

'Wow, it looks so cool.' [Says Little Jack]

'Yep it's from one of the wolves that I hunted down.' {Says Arthur}

'Amazing' [Says Jack while smiling]

'I know right and here is one for your mother.' [Arthur says as he gives Jack another one that looks similar but has the letter (A) engraved in it]

[Abigail come up to Arthur and said] 'It's beautiful Arthur, Thank you.'

[Mary walks over and with a jealous tone asks] 'Don't I get one too.'

'I knew you would' [I say that as I pull out another one and give it to her.]

[She smiles and Thanks me.]

'It really is beautiful, Arthur' [Says Mary]

'It becomes truly beautiful when a beautiful woman like yourself wears it' {Says Arthur in a flirty tone}

'Oh, Arthur you and your smooth talk' [Abigail says to me while blushing with a smile]

'Thanks for the gift' [Says Mary]

'It's no problem I will be coming by again with some wolf pelts so all of you can keep warm.' {Says Arthur}

'Thank you Arthur your too kind, but when will I get a necklace.' [Asks Tilly]

'Ask and you shall receive.' {I tell her as I grab another necklace from my satchel and hand it to her}

{I see the rest of the woman ready to ask so I put both hands up with a pleading face saying} 'Sorry ladies because I'm out but I promise I will make more when I kill some more wolves.'

(They smile)

'You better' [Says Miss Oshae as she laughs.]

'Alright, I will be seeing you all later.' {Says Arthur}
