40 Grand Trial
The next day,
I am doing a little warmup with my pokemon as today will be my grand trial against Olivia. While we were working up, I notice that rockruff is more energetic than usual. Maybe she is excited about the battle that will happen today.
We all leave towards the Ruins Of Life as my Grand Trial will be held there. Serena also joined us even though her feaver is still not gone. I said that she should rest but she said that she wanted to watch my fight. I tried to stop her from coming but in the end, she ended up coming along with us.

As we reached Runes of Life, I saw Olivia praying to tapu lele, the island gurdian of Akala Island. Than, head into a forested area where the rectangular stone battlefield is surrounded by large amounts of flowers and ancient stone pillars.
When Olivia comes into battlefield with her lycanroc, rockruff becomes worked up and started barking.
"Do you wanna battle?" I asked looking towards rockruff
"Ruff Ruff" rockruff barked loudly, showing her enthusiasm.
"Ok than, you are first" I said as rockruff jumped into battlefield.
"It's gonna be a double battle so you can bring out your second pokemon. My second pokemon will be him" Olivia said before taking out Probopass
"Ok, my second pokemon will be her" I said before taking out Inteleon
.
With the first ray of the sunrise, our battle begin.
"Rockruff use Rock throw and Inteleon use Snipe shot"
"Lycanroc use rock slide" that's a kahuna's pokemon for you. Lycanroc blocked both of our attacks by it's single move.
"Probopass use Stealth Rock" Probopass used stealth rock and made a circle of rock pillars, surrounding Inteleon and rockruff
"Now Probopass use zap canon and lycanroc use accelerock"
"Inteleon use Hydro Cannon and rockruff use iron head" Inteleon used hydro cannon and destroyed Probopass' zap canon and rockruff used iron head due to which, lycanroc also received damage
"Good counter"
"Thanks"
"Now let's see how you will counter this" Olivia said before using her z-move
"Inteleon and rockruff use agility and quick attack and run on the stone pillars"
"Interesting. I want to see how you will counter a z-move. Continental Crush." as Olivia said this, lycanroc jumped into the air and used his z-move, Continental Crush.
I saw the huge rock, in the shape of a metroid, falling down on my pokemon. I wait till right time and,
"Inteleon, rockruff, now. Jump on the rock falling on you and use your build-up speed of get at the top"
"What?"
Inteleon and rockruff jumped on the rock and used their speed to go above the rock. Once the z-move hit ground, it destroyed Probopass' trap.
"Now Inteleon, use rain dance and rockruff, cover Inteleon by using rock throw"
"Probopass use meganet bomb and lycanroc use rock throw" Olivia tried to intercept Inteleon but she used rain dance and it started raining due to which, I have already won half of the battle
"Good move but it's not like you will win easily after this"
"I know and that's why I told Inteleon yo use rain dance"
"You won't be able to take full benefit of it, Probopass use Stealth Rock"
"Good move but it won't work a second time. Inteleon use you special trick" as I said this, Inteleon disappeared from everyone's site.
"What? What just happened?" Olivia asked as she seems confused about what just happened and I understand that. Inteleon can disappear from everyone's site at long as it's near water and that's why they are one of the most rare even in the rare royal starter pokemon.
It anybody have an Inteleon and they sell it into black market, they can instantly become a billionaire in just one night. They are ranked as rare as a mythical pokemon, even though I have two of them.
"Even if Inteleon has disappeared from site, rockruff is still there. Lycanroc use accelerock and Probopass use meganet bomb"
"Rockruff use iron head and zen headbutt, Inteleon use Hydro Cannon"
"Probopass observe from where these hydro cannon are coming and use zap canon on that place, lycanroc use stone edge"
"Nice stretegy. Inteleon get at point black range to Probopass and than use , liquidation and whirlpool, rockruff you use your stone edge"
Lycanroc's and rockruff's move collide and cancel each other while Probopass is unable to continue because of direct hit from two water type moves at point blank range.
"Probopass return. You did a good job"
Soon, the effects of rain dance start to end as the ran stop falling.
"Inteleon, don't interfere in rockruff's and lycanroc's battle" I said
"Int" Inteleon said before nodding in positive.

"Lycanroc use accelerock"
"Rockruff use Iron head and zen headbutt"
*Boom*
Both attacks collided
"Lycanroc, quick use stone edge"
"Rockruff you also use stone edge" rockruff was not fast as lycanroc and it got direct hit by lycanroc's stone edge.
Rockruff is having difficulty in standing up. I think that's it for rockruff but I don't have to worry because Inteleon has only taken small damage form Probopass and can win against lycanroc.
"Ruff" rockruff roared before starting to glow in a bright light
"Hey Olivia, isn't rockruff supposed to evolve into a mid-day form when it's evolving at this time of the day?" I asked as I saw rockruff starting to stand on two feets
"It isn't. Rockruff evolve into aid-day form after 12 of the noon and before 12 of midnight and into mid-night form after 12 of midnight and before 12 of noon" Olivia explained.
After sometime, the evolution light died down. What we saw left all of us speachless, even me.
Rockruff evolved into a dusk form lycanroc but it's standing on two feets and has purple eyes.
"Roccccc" lycanroc roared after it finished it's evolution.

"I think that we should resume our battle" I said breaking the silence that was created by the shock of lycanroc evolving into dusk form
"Yeah, lycanroc use accelerock"
"Lycanroc use quick attack" I said but lycanroc used accelerock instead to quick attack
"Cool, you learnt accelerock" I said
"Roc"
"Lycanroc use accelerock" I said
"Lycanroc you too use accelerock" Olivia said
*Boom*
Both attacks collided
"Lycanroc use stone edge" Olivia said
"Lycanroc don't let it hit you this time. Use accelerock" lycanroc used accelerock, landing a direct hit on lycanroc.
"Now use giga impact" I used giga impact, ending the battle.

"Good battle lycanroc, now have a good rest" Olivia said bringing back lycanroc into its pokeball.
"Congratulations on winning Akala Island Grand Trial, Sid" Olivia said coming towards me
"Thanks Olivia"
"Here, it's for you" Olivia said before giving me a Rockium Z.
"Thanks Olivia"
