6 Chapter 6: The Land of Iron

Nothing much happened in the last four days, we weren't attacked and because we are rushing, we are just two days away from reaching the Land of Iron. One day less then original planned.

Just as I thought about what happened the last four days, I start to sense 5 foreign chakra signatures. From the density of the chakra, I can sense three chunin and two jonin level ninjas.

I look at my Sensei and say:" Sensei, I can sense five enemy ninjas, three chunin and two jonin level." "I know, I can sense them too Asahi-kun. You try to get one chunin with a surprise attack. After that you will try to stop one chunin as long as you can and Sora and Hina will take care of the other one. I will fight against the two jonin and after that will help you guys. Do you understrand?"

"Yes, Sensei", we three say together. After that I get into my iaido stance, close my eyes and start to sense the one with the lowest chakra, since it is the one which I can most likely kill with a surprise attack.

I locate him and start putting chakra in my legs and my sword to make it sharper. "Art of Sword Drawing: Quick Cut ", after I say that, I stand beside my enemy and look back at him and can see his head falling on the ground with a clean cut. His body falls on the ground and blood sprays out of his neck.

I look around and see my team and Sensei coming to me. Before they could arrive, they got intercepted by the two jonin level ninja and my Sensei splits with Hina and Sora to take care of the two jonin ninja.

As I was looking at them, I feel a chill running down my spine and trust my instinct to duck down and dodge an incoming kunai, which was aimed at my head.

"You shouldn't look away when there are still enemy behind you, little Konoha ninja.", I hear the enemy ninja say to me. "Well, you still didn't kill me, did you?", I say to him back and can see him frowning. "Well let's talk less and fight so that I can finish my mission and bring the goods back.", he says to me as he rushes to me.

When I see him rushing at me, I go into my sword stance and wait for him to strike me. I can see him throwing a kunai at me which I can easily dodge by leaning to the right side. As I dodge the kunai, I can see the enemy ninja appear right beside me and swing the kunai in his hand at my side.

I could just use the body replacement technique on time to dodge the strike and reappear behind him and slash diagonal at his neck to cut of his head. He closely dodged the attack on time by rolling to the side.

"Fire Release: Fireball Jutsu", I hear him say after he stands up from the ground. As I see the Fireball coming my way, I use "Wind Release: Great Breakthrough", to counter it and running right at the enemy.

I swing my sword diagonal at him and he blocks it with his kunai in his hands and I kick him right at the guts after he blocked my attack. My kick connected and send him flying away. "Lightning Release: Lightning Beast Tracking Fang ", and send a lighting wolf right after him, but this time I use fewer hand-seals then you would need normaly for this technique which caught him off guard. He uses "Earth Release: Earth Wall", and blocks at the last moment.

As he was distracted with counting my attack, I flicker right behind him and stab my sword right through his heart. I see the blood dripping from my blade and hear him say: "Damn, now I even lost to a mere child. Good fight, Konoha genin."

I draw my sword out of his body and see his body falling to the ground.

(My second kill was much easier compart to my first kill. It is still not a good feeling I need to say. I would like to kill as less as possibly but in a world like Naruto you need to kill to survive. To think you can survive in a world in Naruto without killing is too childish and I am willing to do everything I need in order to survive.)

As I was thinking about it, I am looking for Hina and Sora since I think they will need my help more than Sensei.

I can see them fighting against the enemy chunin and I need to say that they really can hold their ground against a chunin but can't land a killing blow.

When I saw an opening thanks to Sora which used his clan's jutsu to immobilize the enemy I flicker right behind him and beheaded him with my sword.

"Thanks Asahi.", says Sora to me. "Wait Asahi you already killed your enemy? Even though we two struggled so much to fight against one?", questions me Hina. "Well, I was lucky, he underestimated me and he was weaker as your opponent. If I am right then my opponent was a low chunin level and yours was a mid to high level chunin ninja"

"Well, you still beat a chunin level alone which as a genin which is a really impressive feat.", says Sora to me. "Thanks Sora, but you two also fought against a high chunin and weren't even injured which is also and impressive feat." I say to them smiling. "Wait guys, what is with Sensei. Shouldn't we help him?", asks us Hina. "No, we shouldn't, in a fight jonin against jonin we genin would only stand in the way and our Sensei is much stronger then a normal jonin so I don't think we need to worry.", answers Sora.

"Thanks for believing so much in me my little genin. And yes you are right in a fight between jonin you three shouldn't interfere and just believe me.", says our Sensei as he appears right behind us and scarring the hell out of us.

"Hey Sensei, could you not just appear right beside us and scarring us like that. You do that all the time.", says Hina with an angry expression which our Sensei just laughs about.

"Come we need to go to Suzuki-san and start to prepare to restart our journey to the land of Iron.", He says to us.

When we were back to where Suzuki and his crew waited for us we can see then getting ready to start our journey again.

# 3 Days Later #

"Haaa, we are just two hours away from the Land of Iron. We are finally home again.", says Suzuki to his crew. And all the other one also have an relieved expression on their face. But who can't understand them, they didn't expect to get attacked and also had many restless nights the last few days because of that? And now when they are home, they can finally relax.

"Suzuki-san can you tell me about a good place to get a good sword. My sword is just a normal sword and I want a new one. It would be the best if it also had chakra metal in it so that I can infuse my chakra better in it.", I ask him.

"Who do you think you are speaking with Asahi-kun? I am one of the most renowned blacksmiths in the land of iron. Since the mission was originally a C-Rank the pay you get will be far too low so I was thinking of giving one of you a weapon. You only need to speak about it with your teammates if they are okay with it."

"Can I get the weapon guys, please?", I ask my teammates with a hopeful expression and my two teammates laugh a little and Hina says:" Of course you can Asahi. You are the only one of us wich uses a sword so it is the best if you will get it." "Yes, Hina is right Asahi, you are the one which will need it the most.", says Sora.

"Thank you, guys! You are the best!", I say to them with a happy expression on my face.

As we were entering the village, I was surprised at how similar the village was to Konoha. I never saw the village of the Land of Iron but the buildings are very similar to that of Konoha but the whole village was covered in snow.

Another big difference is that instead of ninja which are patrolling there are samurais patrolling the village. All of them wore a full body armor with swords at their waist.

We are walking through the village till we were in front of a big house when Suzuki says:" Now we are here. This is my house, my workspace and my shop in one. Let's go in and eat something and after that we should go to bed since it is already late. About your sword Asahi-kun, we will talk about it tomorrow."

"Suzuki-san I wanted to ask if we could stay in your house for the next three days. I wrote a report to Konoha about the situation and they wrote back saying that they sent an anbu squad to bring us home just to be safe and they will arrive in three days.", asks Shikaku-Sensei.

"Yes of course you can stay at my house. This is the least I can do for you.", answers Suzuki-san.

The next day I go with Suzuki to his workshop where he gets a box and places it in front of me and says: "This is one of my finest works. It is out 100% chakra metal, just like you wanted and it is also my last piece with just a quality."

He opens the box and I can see the sword and I need to say, it is one of the most beautiful swords I have ever seen. It has a black sheath and a black handle with gold ornaments.

When I draw the sword out of it, I can see that the blade is straight and is double edged. It is blue and has gold ornaments in the middle of it. (Picture here)

As I tried to swing it I can feal that it is surprisingly light but not too light and it fits perfectly in my hand. Even though it is a little bit too big for my kid physique I know that it will be perfect for when I grow up.

I ask a last time:" Can I really get this sword for free?"

Suzuki answers:" Of course, do you think I am someone who goes back on his word? And I have a feeling that you are just the perfect partner for this sword.
