2 Chapter 2

Chris POV

Well,I will give you basic information My name is Chris Carnahan I am the older brother of Evelyn Carnahan born in 1902 and Johnathan Carnahan in 1903 even when I tried to stop the death of my new parents it was not possible both died because of the curse since God had told me not to interfere no matter how much I tried to distance myself I grew fond of them and even loved both my brother and sister during that time I created 3 abilities [Editic Memory],[Instant mastery] and [Perfect Body].

So I was regarded as a genius who easily got multiple PhDs as well even went on to learn Ph.D. in mythological studies since there are many artifacts from different myths.I always kept my PhDs and stuff secret from my siblings since I didn't want them to feel Jealous so it was always kept a secret as both my new parents agreed after our parent's death in 1922 I was 21 years old I made enough money by using a new ability I created [Creation] which helped me create precious stones, gold...etc I sold it in the black market then made some investments in the automobile industry I made sure my siblings had everything they wanted Evy went on to learn egyptology at oxford university, and I helped Johnathan set up a small business (Which I was sure was going to get bankrupt).

I left to start my own adventure until 1926 when canon started being an adventurer and archeologist I started to make a name for myself finding relics and artifacts, which was interesting as one of the pyramids contained a tablet with hieroglyps but the certain parts was broken with just like 'Book of.....' and 'Temple of ...'."I translated everything from it is map which shows the location is Blade river canyon for one thing this was sure it was not Book or the dead or living not even the map of Ahm shere that is for sure."

Now here I am in Blade river canyon the great news was after toiling for hours I found the temple which was dedicated to Thoth getting thought the traps set inside was easy however the bad news is I was now dodging attacks from a fucking Sphinx golem like depictions it was human-headed, lion-bodied let just say it didn't like me entering the the Temple one bit.

I yelled "Mother f..ker why can't it just die."while shooting it legs with a shot gun while rolling and digging incoming strikes with it's paws one thing was sure who ever came here before either died because of traps like the pit of scrabs or got fooled by the illusion set up to the protect this place.

I them rolled as I got an idea and ran towards a statue and taunted "Come on you suck being a Gurdian you useless piece of shit."I internally thought "My taunting really needs work"

The sphinx still got angry and attacked the moment it strikes I rolled away when it struck the bottom of the statue the moment it was destroyed the destroyed the statue fell straight on top of it's head destroying the Sphinx completly.

I leaned on wall panting and muttered "Never thought I would have to deal with the supernatural already but I should have known also I really need to get a couple of good guns or try and create a couple of good offensive abilities."

I slowly went inside as [perfect body] super durability,strength,Agilty and super senses which even alerted of danger like spider sense it was because of that I can easily get by traps as well as not get fooled by illusions.

I went through the tunnel taking a torch it was fucking maze as I prayed "Please god no more monsters or golmes."I soon found was able navigate thought the maze because of heiroglpys which acted as a map.

I soon entered a room filled with Treasures,Scrolls, Tomes...etc but what caught my eye was a book which was on the center of the room on a stand with light shining from above.I had created another ability during my time adventuring which was [Pocket Diemension] which helped store all treasures and stuff.I made sure to check and take everything I could find from the place.

While looking at the book I sarcastically said "So this is the 'Book Of Thoth' the temple of Thoth being huge hint on what the book was."Book of Thoth is a legendary book containing powerful spells and knowledge supposed to have been written by the god Thoth, it was said to have been buried with the Prince Neferkaptah in Coptos so I guess that was diversion.

I looked around for bit and muttered "I know the moment I take the Book the whole temple is going to come down."
