9 Chapter 9

When looking at his grimoire Yue Yang felt rather troubled. Apart from xiao wen li, his other monsters were all special and plant type, he wanted new monsters but he didn't want some monsters without the potential for becoming divine beasts. This was a very serious problem. He couldn't show xiao wen li in public since she was a diamond ranked beast. He wanted monsters of strengthening and elemental type. He knew that he would not be able to find those kinds of beasts in the soaring dragon continent but only in Tong Tian tower but for now, he didn't want to go there.

So the only places he could look for them should be the forbidden places of the continent. Even for him, those were dangerous. But if he was prepared maybe he should be able to survive.

Since he doesn't have yet the power to go in those places he decided to gamble using his own blood to nurture some beasts. Maybe he could make them become variant and have more potential.

He also wanted monsters with 2 opposing elements but those are even rarer so, for now, he decided to search for monsters with outstanding attack and impenetrable defense.

After purchasing a book with information about rare monsters like the ones he wanted he decided to hunt for 2 beasts for now. They were a thunderfire wolf and an earth dragon. These two monsters were so dangerous that they have their own territories and not a sane person dare to enter their territories since they were very territorial.

Before going to these territories he have to prepare very well since the adults of these two species can reach gold level. He wanted two females cube and didn't want to battle these monsters so he decided to kidnap them attiring them with food and monster cores.

For the thunderfire wolf, he decided to use fire and thunder monster cores. As for the earth dragon, he will use food to kidnap it.

Thunderfire forbidden land.

This was a place that is either hell or paradise for humans and beasts. In this place, thunder and fire formed a domain like land. In legends, it is said that this place was formed after a battle between two powerhouses, one controlling thunder and the other fire. Every part of this land was covered in raging fire and rumbling thunder. This was the territory of the thunderfire wolves. Although there were other types of beasts in this land the indisputable rulers were the thunder wolves since only they could use the two types of element in this place.

Right now Yue Yang was at the outskirts of this frightening place. He was using his counterfeit skill at its finest without making any unnecessary moves. He decided to search for the smallest pack with a lot of cubes so he could lure some without alarming the adults.

He searched for roughly two hours before discovering a pack that suited his requisite. The first he did was to wait for night when more of them were sleeping to lure the cubes with the cores.

Even with all his caution, he was discovered by the leader of the pack and he was forced to battle. Luckily it was only a silver ranked beast.

When the beast discovered him, he decided to battle it a little far from the pack since he didn't want the cubes to see their battle and become afraid of him. He didn't want to fail to the cube he will take. After letting the beast chase him for a while he stopped and took his battle stance with a sword in his hand. On the other hand, the wolf looked at this weak human boy unsure of why he decided to stop running. But it didn't think much about it since it was enraged by this human that decided to battle it.

The wolf used its speed to arrive in front of Yue Yang and then used fire claws to attack him. But it was parried and before it could react Yue Yang used his sword to make a slash at the wolf abdomen. The attack was successful but it only caused a small wound on the wolf.

The wolf seeing itself being wounded by a small human boy became enraged. Thunder began gathering around its body and its yellow eyes now became red with killing intent. A prideful Alfa like itself being wounded by a human? It wanted to tear apart this human and eat him without leaving anything behind.

The poor thing didn't know that the human in front of it could kill it in an instant. Yue Yang was now battling the beast without using any energy! He was only using the strength of a braveman against it. He wanted to use this as a tempering to see how he could do with opponents stronger than him.

The wolf charged at him with rage in its eyes. Yue Yang calmly swung his sword parrying the wolf and this time used a trust to attack the wolf. The trust contained so much strength that it forced the wolf 4 steps back.

The wolf continued to attack using all its abilities. It even fused fire and thunder in its attack but it was always forced back and the steps didn't decrease but it was increasing! All this time Yue Yang used the same strength and was using the wolf as a training partner to increase the strength and accuracy of his sword skills.

After 10 minutes he knew that he couldn't gain anything else continuing so he decided to end the battle. He attacked the wolf using a double slash forming an x shape on the wolf abdomen. After the wolf fainted he didn't kill it. It was because it helped him train his skills.

Leaving the fainted wolf he went where the pack was resting and after a while using his inherent skill he took the female cube with great potential and walked away with a sleeping wolf in his arms

After going out of the forbidden land it was already noon so he decided to return to his home and rest before going out to kidnap the little dragon.
