18 Chapter 18

Yue Yang right now was returning to his home after subduing the barbarian cow. While still traveling another idea popped out of his mind.

He thought 'why not use the Phantom shadow possession on my other beast? Like this, I would have many guardian beasts fused my shadow'.

Although the idea was tempting he didn't know if using this skill his beasts will lose their personalities or not. But this idea was really too good to discard it so easily. With this skill and reconstruction skill, his beasts will evolve endlessly. Still, if it took their personalities it will be a waste for it wasn't that worrying since his beasts were little and didn't have a forged personality but if in future he had a beast that had already developed personality and used possession on it wouldn't it become more like a puppet?

He still had time to think about it. First, after resting and sleeping he will summon the barbarian shadow cow and see if it's fear and submission has changed or not. If not he would be sure to use possession on his other beasts too.

After a while, he arrived. When he entered he saw that the house was normal. It seems like they hadn't heard anything since they were still calm. Seeing that fourth mother and Yue Shang wasn't in the kitchen he decided to head toward his room.

After arriving at his room while he was trying to open the door he suddenly halted his movements.

It seemed like he had forgotten something. But what was it? He had already cleaned the battlefield and he also killed those two criminals so what has he forgotten?

Ah! Yi Nan! He suddenly remembered the bright-eyed girl. He completely forgot about her. How could he forget about a person?

He was really embarrassed to have forgotten someone but luckily there was no one near him.

While he was still pondering about the locations she could have been brought a servant arrived and after bowing said,

"Young master the mistress has sent me to tell you to meet her in the garden."

"Ok. I will" Said, Yue Yang, looking at the servant. The servant after hearing him nod immediately walked away and left Yue Yang alone.

Why has she called him at this time of the night? Maybe she has some urgent news to say to him or maybe she wanted to reprimand him from coming late? Thinking about the possible things she wanted to talk he arrived at the garden.

Still thinking about Yi Nan location he entered the garden. After entering he was jolted awake by two voices still speaking unaware of his arrival. He knew the two voice very well. Although he encountered the owner of the second voice some days ago he still remembered her.

There were three people and a beast in the garden. Fourth mother was holding a sleeping little Shang'er while she was surprisingly speaking with the girl he thought he had lost. Yi Nan. That's right Yi Nan was in his garden and was speaking with his mother.

Fourth after seeing him called him and said,

"Ah, San'er! How are you doing? Are you alright?" Said Fourth mother in a worried voice at the same time. She just learned that her son not only was not at home but he was battling some summoned monster. How can she not be worried? She had promised her sister that she would take care of her son but if something happened to him? How could she face her sister in heaven?

Seeing how worried she was Yue Yang hugged her and began calming her. He was very sorry to make her this worried. This time he had really made her worry. It was just some weeks ago that she saw her nephew trying to suicide and now he was gone in the night battling monsters.

Fourth mother knew that she couldn't let him stay always at home since he could not only socialize with his family but he has to go out and meet new people but at most he should say something when he was going out. Why would he sneak out at nights?

Yi Nan seeing them like this could only stay quiet and watch them. She was also very happy seeing this new side of Yue Yang. Someone who acted so shamelessly was now so serious that she couldn't help but think that they were two different people.

After calming fourth mother and promising her that he will inform her before going somewhere she calmed down. After separating from his hug she was a little embarrassed since there was someone watching her all the time. Too embarrassed she took the little girl in her hand and with swift feet, she went out of the garden.

Now remaining only in two the garden became silent. They were looking at each other trying to say something but nothing came out.

"Hey, little girl what are you doing in my house? Did you come to witness my brother sense again?." Yue Yang said it like he was sure she came here to witness his brother sense.

Yi Nan, on the other hand, hearing him was speechless. Why was he saying something like that? How come after his fourth mother went out he became shameless again? Just some time ago he was like a good child and now he was already a shameless person.
