Chapter 34

[A/N:I won't posting chapters for the next 2 week since I have some personal issues to deal with.]

Jeremy Gilbert was now watching his niece play with the kids in Salvatore Boarding school as Bonnie came next to him and asked"So how are you doing?"

Jeremy sighed and replied"Nothing,just I can't believe the fact both Elena and Damon are gone."Bonnie nodded understanding his feeling she may have had strained relationship with them but she still felt bad for their daughter as Jeremy continued"You know Stephanie is different from both Elena or Damon,unlike Elena who wallowed in her sadness Stephanie is mature and seems to move on from her parents death and she was not like Damon who only thought about himself.

Bonnie with sad smile said"She is strong like her uncle Stefan."Jeremy smiled and nodded as he said"You know never did I guess the fact Stephanie being close with Hope Mikaelson of all people.The fact she considers Hope as her older sister shocked me."

Bonnie smiled and replied"Yeah,Hope is different she could have ignored her and went her way after knowing the history between their family,instead she is now taking care of the girl from time to time.Also their is Alex Stephanie really seems to look up to him."

Jeremy sighed and muttered"Yes."Bonnie with frown asked"So you are going."Jeremy nodes and replied"I have too,after all I am a wanted man.I can't stay here and cause trouble for the school.Caroline had given me a new identity and stuff,so I am going lay low for a while."Bonnie nodded as Jeremy went to say goodbye to his niece.

While elsewhere Hope Mikaelson was happy to spend time with her mom and dad.Klaus with frown questioned"How is kid treating you?"

Hope with donno smile answered"He treats me really well."Klaus was not sure but Hailey told him let it go as Hailey asked"I heard he went to find some missing witches."

Hope nodded and replied"Yes,I was about to go with him.But he wanted me to spend time with you guys."

Hailey smiled hearing that as Hope asked"How are you Declan doing, Mom."

Hailey replied"Actually it's good,I mean we are actually taking things slow."Hope just nodded as she pry too much into it as Klaus spoke"I heard tomorrow is death day"

Hailey and Klaus nodded as they soon said their good bye to Hope as she then went to her Ballet class.Which was something she found to be enjoyable,also their is the fact Alex came to watch her dance all the time.

After the class Hope decided to practice some more as her teacher after packing up said"Hope after you finished up,please give the key to security guard,okay."

Hope without looking still practicing infront of the mirror replies"Yes mam."she contininues her practice as she turns around hearing a noice only to be suddenly thrown to the nearest wall.But quickly recovering from the throw she looked her to find a bark skinned being with glowing blue eyes who with gruff voice said"You will be the key to getting my freedom."

Hope with scowl questioned"Who are you?''The being replied"I am Ptah an ancient sorcerer from egypt and I want the knife."

Hope studying her new enemy frowned and said"You won't be able to get the knife as we have already made sure to keep it locked away."Hope tried to give him aneurysm,but for some reason it didn't even faze him.

Ptah was amused by her attempts and replied"I know,but you can get it for me.After all I have specific spell which it places the victim completely under the caster's control "Hope became more guarded hearing that she her palm lits up in flames and throws multiple fireballs at ptah who deflects them with his cane without much effort as Ptah with mocking tone"Fire spell such a low level spell,I am an ancient sorcerer little girl."Hope noticed the guy was arrogant,she had many powerful spells in for aresnal but the problem was she couldn't use them without humans noticing it.So she kept with low tier spells.

Ptah returns fire by absorbing some amounts of flames from nearby fire into his palm and hurls the fireballs at her as Hope conjures her magic shield,as the fireballs slam into the shields and dies off.

Hope quickly forms a supercharged plasma bolt from his palms before hurls it upon him, yet the sorcerer managed defend it with his cane although still getting pushed back from the force.

Hope hurls another more powerful bolt at him which hits him and knocks him off his feet.

A fight ensues as Hope taking advantage of the distraction places his hand against nearby mirror and casts the spell Hungarian Mirror trap before engaging her enemy in a brief physical brawl.She then grabs Ptah by his robes,Hope attempted to wrestle him against the bewitched mirror.

Ptah was shocked and couldn't recognize this new magic spell as spoke with gruff voice"It seems magic has changed a lot from my time,no worried I will rip that knowledge from your mind."as he slams the back of his head against Hope and hits her with his cane before trying to push her against her own spell.

Hope couldn't cast any spell as they she was focused in another physical brawl with Ptah,with both attempting to push either of them into the mirror.

Hope finally seeing an opening she hurls Ptah into the wall as he recovers from the throw and only for Hope to send a telekentic blast at Ptah who got blasted into the mirror and disappears.Hope panting mutters"I really need to study how to do non verbal spells and some more subtle spells."

Hope had called both her aunt Freya and Caroline for help as they reached the place to find Hope sitting opposite to the mirror inside which our good old Ptah , who trapped in the mirror banging against it in anger.
