While Caroline was able to quickly call for backup which was both Hailey and Hope who on hearing their call quickly reached their spot as the only thing Hope can think of was a statue attacking both Caroline and Dorian who was paralyzed from the scratch from the gargoyle while he was able to cast a barrier around them for protection they noticed the gargoyle had the knife in it's hand Hope seeing this frowned and thought"This is the second monster who wants the knife."

The gargoyle was still slamming the barrier with a stone sword. But it stopped when it saw both Hailey and Hope as it flew straight at them with its sword ready to strike as Hope quickly cast an overpowered reducto destroying it completely as others looked at Hope with surprise as Hope noticing their looks said"Alex taught me."

Caroline shook her head and muttered, "That explains a lot."Caroline had heard from Freya how Alex was more powerful than her a 1000-year-old witch. While Dorian soon recovered as Hailey said"The Gargoyle seems to be after the knife."

Caroline nodded as Dorian was confused questioned"What the hell is going on?"Caroline explained the situation at least part of it to him as Lizzie who heard everything said"So we have to now worry about monsters."

Hope was thoughtful and replied, "I don't think the gargoyle was able to get into the school as Alex made sure the barrier around the school is powerful."Caroline nodded and said, "True the gargoyle only attacked us after we left the school grounds."

Freya while looking at the knife said"We need to speak with Alex about this as keeping this in the school is a huge problem."

Everyone grimaced hearing that as Hope said"We can keep it in the Mikaelson Manor as it has really has good security as well as both Freya and my mom and there to make sure it is safe."

Alex entered the room then as Hope quickly went and explained the situation as he muttered"So that is 2 monsters in one day."Everyone who heard this was confused as Hope questioned"What do you mean two monsters?"Alex was thoughtful as quickly cast a privacy spell and spoke"Well when we were watching the twins I felt someone spying on us. The person in question was kitsune he seems to have here looking for rumors about tribrid and he seems to have doubts about whether it is you or me. "

Hailey, Elijah, and Freya were alarmed hearing this as Freya questioned"Kitsunes they are nine-tailed fox demons or spirits right, why do they want to find the tribrid."Alex shook his head and replied, "I don't know the kitsune was small fry who was just following orders ,but I did get one thing they are also after the keys to Malivore's pit as their leader is locked inside it."

Hope dryly said, "Now we have to worry about Kitsunes coming after me too."Hailey was worried about Hope but then realized she had a really strong protector by her side so she calmed slightly as she said"We need to tell your father and others about this."

Freya asked, "Alex what are kitsunes capable of?"Alex explained, "They are similar to vampires in a way the more tails they have the more powerful they are,all of them have fire manipulation, shapeshifting and those who got nine tails are able to use illusions."Caroline who heard this spoke her thoughts"So similar to Silas."

Alex nodded and said, "Now we should decide what to do with the keys."Everyone nodded hearing this as it was soon decided that they will keep the keys in the Mikaelson manor as it was best since the Salvatore Boarding school had small children with them, Also both Hope and Alex decided to stay in the Mikaleson manor. While Klaus was so angry when he heard about the Kitsunes that he took both Kol and Elijah to one of the Kitsune bases decided to give them a piece of his mind. Let's just say it was a complete massacre as Kitsunes lost many some of their witch recruits and new bloods and inko won't know who she messed with until its too late as not a good idea to mess with the Mikealsons.

Alex decided to give some defense amulets as he was not sure he will be with her all the time and another problem was Hope was having visions and each worse than before. Hope woke up in the middle of the night because of it as she clung to Alex and whispered"It felt so real those Kitsunes were trying to drain my blood dry. They were trying to use it for some kind of ritual."

Alex calmed her down and spoke in a soft tone"Don't worry it was just a nightmare."Hope sighed and went back to sleep as she cuddled with Alex who was thoughtful"A ritual using a hybrid.It must have been for Tama no mae."
