5 The Invitation

Issei was currently sleeping in the infirmary while being covered by the white curtain around the bed.

After purchasing the Narak Ring, which has an appearance of a sheep head that has a curving horn in it. He wore it on his middle finger on his right hand.

While he was in a deep sleep, there is someone that opened the door of the infirmary room and then that person walked toward Issei's bed and moved the curtain slowly, revealing the sleeping Issei on the bed.

"Hmm… Strange, how come I don't feel anything from him? This is strange, that power from his throw is not something an ordinary human could do…"

"Sona-sama, I think that it must be some kind of a coincidence. There is nothing special about him, even the detection device is not working on him."

Seeing that her friend seem to be doubting her, Sona was feeling a bit annoyed, she frowned her cute forehead and fixed her glasses up with her right hand.

"Tsubaki! Do you really think that i will be this interested if I'm not sure about it?!" Sona said with a strong tone.

She was really sure that her judgment is not wrong. She has been seeing it with her own eyes that his power is really not ordinary.

The fast and beyond human throw caused her to be astonished. She doesn't want this talent to be taken by her rival in this school!

"…. Is it because he has an extraordinary body? His gene probably mutated when he was still a baby by coming into contact with some stray devil or a fallen angel. It caused his body to be more powerful than a normal human. Is what the most logical thing I could think about."

"…. I could feel some kind of weird aura coming from him a while ago. But now, It's gone… He doesn't emit that aura again. It was faint but I'm sure I felt it back then!"

Sona looked toward her friend called Tsubaki with a serious expression. However, the long black haired beauty just shrugged her shoulder and then fixed her glasses with her finger.

Hearing the commotion that the two beauty caused just beside him, Issei was woken up from his deep sleep, he stretched his body and then opened his light brown eyes.

He was stunned when he found that the great Kaichou and Fukukaichou was together. They are looking at him as if he were some kind of rare animal.

Issei was really surprised, he looked stunned as he stared at the two beautiful women in front of him.

[…. Idiot!]

Both Lina-chan and Ddraig commented while in sync as if they knew the reason why this two devils came to find him. Their tones were mocking him like he is something beneath them.

He was bewildered as to why they became like that.

To think that the two great being inside him were teaming up to scold him!

"Issei Hyoudou, 15 years old and will be 16 in a few months. You graduated from Ichisei Junior High with a flying mark, ranked number one in the entire school. You are often seen to be always in a daze and not very fond of socializing."

The black haired beauty started talking about his information when he was in his Junior High.

She was saying it as a matter of fact while looking really serious, making her looks like some kind of black agent from a movie.

Issei was dumbfounded as he keep staring at Tsubaki with a strange light in his eyes.

"You must be surprised that we are here doing something suspicious after you just woke up from your sleep. But please cooperate with us for a while." Said Sona with a calm tone.

"Aren't you guys being a bully?! I'm just starting school today and got bullied already? By an upper classmen nonetheless. Seriously?!" Issei said with a dumbfounded expression.

He was literary almost screaming at them.

"…. This is not a bullying…" Said Sona with a whisper.

She was looking down for a moment and then raised her head again. Now, her expression is a bit less stern than before.

'Honestly, they both are a great beauty if they smiled more.' Thought Issei inside his mind.

"So, why are the two of you here then? Did I do something to displease you? Ah… is it because of the ball? Did it hit you by any chance? Are you hurt?!" Said Issei with a panicked tone.

He didn't really pay attention when he threw the ball back then. So he thought that it hit her head and she was here to get some revenge on him.

"No. Please calm down, it was for something else we are here. Come to think of it, we haven't introduced our-self yet. My name is Shitori Sona, I'm a second year from class 2-D." Said Sona while fixing her glasses.

"And I'm Tsubaki Shinra, from the same calass and club." Said Tsubaki with an unfriendly tone.

Sona's expression was really calm and dignified, her every move screamed elegant and her bearing is very steady.

The daughter from one of the 72 Pillars from Underworld is really not for show. Issei was looking at her with gleam in his eyes. However, once his gaze fell into her chest area, he let out a sigh with a helpless expression plastered on his face.

Which in turn, caused the calm and steady expression on her face to distort with annoyed look!

It was a blatant provocation caused by his ignorant.

Both women expression were turning dark as he keep his poker face the next moment. It was as if he was saying "Ah, what a pity… Well whatever!" what a nerve!

Tsubaki was silent, she didn't dare to look at her friend and master by her side. She was angry, annoyed and cursed at the stupid man in front of her.

'Damned monkey! If anything happen to you, don't blame me!' She thought while fuming with anger.

"…So, Hyoudou-kun, I don't have time to read all your record, but I think we need to discuss about something. Care to follow me somewhere? Ah, don't worry, we'll be going to an open café around this area." Sona ignored his rude behavior and just keep asking him with a calm tone.

Being invited by the two beauty is a happy things for an ordinary person. But he knew that they came to him with a reason, and he was sure that it was something about his power.

He was no fool, just from hearing Tsubaki mentioning his name and his history when he was still in Junior High, he was sure that they have done some investigation about him.

So he don't have much choice and agreed to hear about this discussion.

"Sigh.. Alright, let's talk then. I don't know what you want to talk about but I can at least hear it." Issei said with a sigh.

With that, he got up from the bed and then followed them from behind toward the open café outside the school ground. On the way out, there was some student that looked their way with curious look on their face.
