"Tell us everything in detail?" 2nd seat calm lake asked in not so calm tone.
Instead of explaining everything in details silent reaper showed the video recording of conversation between him and lightning emperor from start till he handed him his genesis and pseudo Id's.
Everyone was shocked because silent reaper had managed the situation very well, bowing his head where necessary while holding nothing back to lure the rune master in genesis side.
"The video clip is fake, I can see silent reaper's racist side but where is his arrogant self." 4th seat golden pig mocked.
"Shut up golden pig, as majority of upper echelon are present, let's discuss the next topic of discussion." Silent reaper said.
"The first matter will be how many of you approve the intention of lightning emperor's visit to beast continent." Silent reaper asked.
"I approve, if it is only for his research purpose." 2nd seat calm lake said.
"I disagree, why didn't he reveal the details of item he is searching for and he is an rune master, maybe he have a way to bypass the detection of truth orb." 4th seat golden pig spoke.
"Do you have any evidence; we can't offend him based on mere speculation, remember even Duke Elise wasn't able to bypass the detection of truth orb." Silent reaper spoke to golden pig shutting him for good.
"But what about our contract with Duke Elise, we can't send someone who will greatly influence the balance of beast continent and thus anyone above rank 12 cannot enter the beast continent, what if he is hiding his ability." Golden pig spoke.
"That maybe the case but I myself has evaluated his strength and he has yet to complete his radiant physique, do you think such person can upset the balance of beast continent." Silent reaper spoke.
"How can you be so sure, he may be expert hiding his strength?" Golden pig disputed.
"I saw him forge those weapons, not even a single environmental mana particle moved when he was using rune forging." Silent reaper spoke and everyone understood his meaning.
"How…?" Golden pig asked in disbelieving tone.
When a person completes his transformation physique by defeating the beast's consciousness inside his SOC, he gains the ability to transform into a beast and gains a perfect core through which he can manipulate the mana reserved in his core to greater degree.
He can then consume other beast cores and absorb their souls to strengthen his own soul and unlock various soul based abilities but whether he can attain the ethereal physique completely depends on his innate talent.
A person's soul force increases up to a limit by consuming beast core and as they neared the limit, the soul force one gain from consuming others soul reduces.
An ethereal physique is also called a blessed physique because at this stage one gains the ability to manipulate external mana through his soul force and the limiters which exist for radiant physique experts are lifted as a person can increase his soul force to an infinite amount if he has the resources.
When an ethereal physique expert wields mana he not only influences mana from his core but all the mana surrounding him, even if he tries to control external mana particles from moving, it is impossible for anyone to force his complete will over every mana particle even for demon king lucifer.
If lightning emperor was an expert above radiant physique, the mana should have acted differently around him but that didn't happen which can only mean one thing, he has an incomplete radiant physique.
"I agree as well, if what silent reaper said is true, no matter what his identity is, he will not disturb the balance of beast continent much, from his talk he himself wanted to stay low key." 5th seat broken heart spoke.
"I agree as well." I said and my agreement approved the 3rd condition for lightning emperor's ticket to beast continent.
"But what about Duke Elise, we had an agreement that she would provide us runic weapons and transportation means to reach beast continent while we will give her information about any new rune master we discover." Golden pig spoke.
"I don't honor such agreements." Silent reaper spoke.
"Silent reaper is correct, she sells us runic weapons at tenfold the actual price, and has monopolized the whole runic business which was previously one of our main source of income, and the rune master only want to make temporary relation with us, so I say we make the most out of this year's beast continent expedition."
5th seat broken heart also agreed because Duke Elise has always given her hard time in negotiation and she was the appointed caretaker of accounts of genesis.
"Now that you have mentioned it, the rune master doesn't intend to carry on his contract once he enter beast continent correct, what do you say we inform this information to duke Elise after he has reached beast continent that way our contract won't be broken and we would have squeezed maximum benefit out of him." Golden pig said in a vicious tone and everyone glared at him but didn't bother to answer.
"It is not a decision we can take when two important member of our organization are missing, for now we should keep the identity of rune master secret, broken heart continue to buy our average number of weapon and air ships from Duke Elise.
"I will talk with Touch me and let him discuss negotiation with guardian demon of beast continent Amon for increased number of fleets this year."
"We will send three times the fleet and genesis member to beast continent this year and try to make the best out of this expedition so that we don't have resource shortage for another decade, the time for demon king's descent is nearing, we may not be able to act this free next year."
Calm voice gave order to everyone respective of their job as she was the sole manager of genesis since its inception and not even once her decision has failed to meet our expectations.
"Isn't 3 times too much?" golden pig spoke and I had the same question in my mind.
"After seeing capabilities of rune master with my own eyes, I think he will be able to manage the assignment and if he finishes the task, I wish to give him free pass to beast continent, after all because him we will be sending this much force to beast continent." Calm lake explained her reason.
"But will guardian Amon agree?" Broken heart asked.
"At first he will not, but I have faith in touch me's abilities, he will pursue him after all we will offer him something that he won't be able to reject even if he wants to." Calm lake said confusing everyone.
"What would that be?" Silent reaper asked.
"Amon may not be son of demon king but he consider demon king lucifer as his father and has a hobby of collecting everything relating to him, I will soon have my hands on something that is closely related to demon king, thus until I acquire the item I wish to keep its identity secret." Calm lake stated.
"We understand." We said in unison.
"If that is fine, I will create an assignment for new rune master, he should be in eastern continent correct, I will transport required items to eastern continents head office, send him there as soon as possible." Calm lake instructed.
"It will be done." Silent reaper said.
"Selection of personnel to be trained under rune master will be done by 4th seat golden pig." Calm lake said.
"Understood" Golden pig agreed.
"Is there anything else you want to discuss silent reaper?" calm lake asked.
"Yes, I received an peak platinum class mission or it could be a crystal class mission as well, I don't know yet." I spoke.
"My 4th seat…" I was about to explain it but a pitiful voice was heard among us.
"Please explain in details." Calm lake said.
In reply to her I showed her the rest of the recording, the confrontation between rune master, shadow empress and me, departure of rune master while mocking our capabilities and the opportunity demon princess presented us.
Every member of upper echelon of genesis knew identity of shadow empress; she was the spoiled daughter of current demon king Lucifer.
Even after having harem full of most beautiful woman's of planet amora, demon king Lucifer only had two children's from his first wife.
The eldest son Esper was only 55 year old but had the strength comparable to that of a demon duke, 55 year of age in terms of demons was just reaching their adulthood and thus he was the current candidate for throne, though demon king lucifer didn't show any sign of stepping down from his position for next few centuries.
His lineage has also been a deciding factor for his growth because the current demon king Lucifer was the strongest among all the previous demon kings and lineage was very important factor while determining demons strength and potential.
Shadow empress was the second child of demon king Lucifer and has been given the title of shadow empress because her ability to control shadow power which was said to be on par with demon king.
She was around 40 year old and her strength was comparable to highest marquees ranked demon, her talent was said to be more superior then his brother but she lacked the leadership ability of his brother and father.
Genesis didn't differentiate between demon and human because they have been living on the same planet for thousands of year but both species were yet to come to a consensus.
Genesis members had ties with both demon king's forces and Resistance forces, who directly opposed the discrimination of current demon king.
All 6 seats of genesis were the transcended entities comprised of both human and demons.
"How dare she act like she owns genesis, even if she has given us an important assignment, which we were after for a long time, it doesn't explain her behavior and that to in the presence of upper echelon member." 4th seat golden pig shouted.
"Golden pig is right, she will bear the consequences of her action, effective immediately she will be demoted to a silver rank member of genesis and we will share 30% share of the final gains from this expedition." Calm lake said her thoughts.
"Do you think she will agree?" Silent reaper asked.
"First tell her we have acquired the manpower she required for her mission, we all know how desperate she is to clear that dragon's lair, if she refuses, we will surrender the assignment but something in my guts tell me that due all the recent incidents she won't be able to refuse our offer." Calm lake deduced.
"Isn't this all just speculation, if we lose this chance it will be a great loss for genesis, can we really gamble this once in a lifetime opportunity?" Broken heart asked.
Treasures found in the dragon's lair were all otherworldly treasure which were carefully crafted by the most advanced race in the mortal realm, 'Dragons'.
Even a single weapon could change the outcome of battle because all weapons made by dragons were destruction incarnate capable of casting spell of rank 12 and above caliber.
"Don't worry; she won't be able to refuse our conditions." Calm lake assured our finance manager.
"Have any of you thought what purpose those red gemstones serve for which demon jabel and resistance forces clashed?" Calm lake asked everyone.
"No, from what little description rune master has given us, it is impossible to determine its purpose." Broken heart spoke surfing through her memories.
"Yes, it is impossible to accurately determine its use but I have an wild guess, does any of you remember those 2 purple gemstone placed in the ancient museum?" calm voice said.
"You mean the 2 volumes of meeker technique, if it is true than shadow empress must be coughing blood right now for loosing such an important item." Golden pig said.
"They could be meeker technique's first or last 2 volume but it is still a guess and silent reaper will confirm this guess in his next conversation with shadow empress." Calm lake said.
"I also heard rumors that resistance forces were accumulating their forces here in eastern continent, I don't know there purpose but if what they stole from earl jabel is meeker volume, then there next target must be next set of meeker volume stored in ancient museum." Calm lake said.
"If they want to Reid the ancient museum, now is the best time, demon king is absent, rank 1 duke is in seclusion and that titan is wandering aimlessly around the world doing who knows what, duke Elise is busy in her research, which only left us with 4th duke." Silent reaper said.
"But 4th duke genos is the guardian of that domain; they are fool if they think they can defeat that immortal necromancer, even I would prefer to fight that brainless titan than 4th duke genos." Golden pig spoke.
"Yes, fighting him on his own turf is suicidal." Broken heart agreed.
"It is none of our business, and we have deviated quite far from the topic, for now let's maintain our neutral position and see things play out as a spectator." Calm lake said to everyone.
"So silent reaper will try to extract information from shadow empress in his next meeting and if she agrees to our conditions, we will have to arrange the necessary personal she requested." Calm lake presented next issue for discussion.
"Fortunately the fate is with us and we have the rune master of our own but sending him on this mission is akin to telling him to commit suicide, do any of you have any suggestion?" Calm lake said.
"I agree, even our lives are not guaranteed inside dragon's lair let alone a radiant physique human." Golden pig said and everyone nodded.
"That is why I will go on this mission as a transcended swordsman." Silent reaper spoke and everyone turned to look at him.
"You are an assassin not a swordsman; if we really want to send someone we have many qualified platinum members." Golden pig said.
"The reason I want to go on this mission is because, I am still suspicious about rune masters identity, I don't think he has any ill intention toward us but my instinct tells me to further investigate about him." Silent reaper said.
"I agree, we need to ensure the safety of lightning emperor for next six months and thus we cannot risk sending someone of whose ability we aren't certain of." Calm lake agreed.
"Then I will go." Golden pig spoke.
"Please stop trying to snatch opportunities from other, no one is going to surpass your position this year and you are a martial artist who excels in hand to hand combat, at least silent reaper is efficient in handling blades." 5th seat broken heart said.
"That is not why I am saying this, whatever…" Golden pig didn't contest much and agreed at the end.
"It is decided then, silent reaper and lightning emperor will go to the dragon's lair, silent reaper will be given the fake identity of number 1 platinum member death knight." Calm lake said.
"It will be up to me to convince lightning emperor to join this expedition but what do you guys think we should give him as compensation?" Silent reaper asked.
"Yes, shadow princess has screwed up our first impression; it wouldn't be out of option to think he would be thinking about leaving our organization right away." Broken heart said lowering her head in shame.
"Give one rank 12 beast core you received from shadow empress to him as compensation, does anyone think it is still lacking?" Calm lake said.
"Don't be stingy calm lake give him both, that way our chances of making him agree to join expedition would increase, without him the dragon lair expedition is as good as gone from our hands." Golden pig said.
"It wouldn't bother our current fund; you can give him both cores." Broken heart our accounts keeper agreed as well.
"It is decided then setting aside the compensation, agree to whatever condition he has and make him join this expedition." Calm lake spoke.
"I will" Silent reaper said.
"That concludes today's matter; let's hold another meeting when the dragon's lair expedition is complete." Calm lake said as 2nd pillar lost its brilliance followed by others.
