The Forest (Part 2)

After 30 minutes walking he found the river and so he continued walking following the stream, after another 30 minutes he arrived at the place they agreed to meet.

John: Finally we were starting to fell worried.

Alex knew that once John accepts someone as his brother he would care very much for them, after all he was not a reincarnated person like Alex and even after going through all those situations and be forced to grow up quickly he and everyone here still had some qualities of a child and one of those is this one, the importance of having someone to rely on, they all rely on Alex if they have any problem that they and their closest friends can't solve, that is due to Alex be the one who saved countless Spartans, give them their small version of system and his mature and leader like behavior.

Alex: Sorry I ran into some wolves, but don't worry they did not cause me any injurie.

John: Good! Now we need to kill more 7 wolves after that we should all appear at the same time at the rescue location, that way no one will be the last one and they will have to take us all.

Alex: I suggest we form our designated teams in order to improve efficiency and train our team work.

Kelly: I was thinking the same.

Spartan1: Ok sounds good to me!

Everyone started forming their teams and leaving into the woods, they all agreed to meet at the same place after the mission is finished and now that they were all together they quickly form the map of the area by putting together all the pieces that everyone had. Alex and his team were currently walking while being in a constant state of alert, this was because Alex told them about his encounter, they were sure they couldn't survive that atack and after hearing this from him their trust and consideration towards him only grew.

It has been 1 hour since they started walking, the mission is currently at 8/10 killed and just as Alex was loosing hope they heard a noise.

They got down immediately, just at the distance of 7 meters two wolves could be seen, Alex looked at John, John looked back at him and nodded, they divided themselves in two groups Alex and Kelly went for the kill on the wolf at their right, while John and Samuel went for the one on the left, all of them were approaching silently and slowly, Alex made a signal to Kelly telling her to climb a tree, they were at only 3 meters from the wolves, after confirming she was in position Alex looked at John at the other side of the wolves and he could see that John was making a go signal. Alex picked up a stone, got up and threw it at the wolf, John was a bit more creative and started shouting at the wolf, but either way both of the wolves separated and went after them, but when they reached at their traps location they died, the one Alex brought was killed by Kelly as she dropped down from the tree and aimed for same point that Alex used in his previous fight with a big stone she had picked up previously, this was because he explained his method to them, resulting in a wave of complements, the one John attracted was killed in a different way, Samuel found a big and sharp branch so he used it to impale the wolf.

After killing both wolves all Spartans receive a notification.

After checking his SPC balance he saw that he had 100 090 SPC he immediately bought the upgrade for his Party System and received another notification.

They all created their squads and tried their new functions, such as video chat between squad members, normal chat or checking the mini-map. Alex was currently checking the mini-map and that only a area of 10 meters around his squad could be seen the rest was all dark, he already knew this would happen but still was a bit disappointed. After this they started walking back and 1 hour later all Spartans could be found at the same place they were some hours ago and all of them around a giant map on the floor.

Kelly: Ok based on the knowledge we have and the map in front of us the only place that could be the extraction point is this one.

Alex: I think the same, any other idea?

Spartan1: No, that's the only reasonable place.

John: No one opposes let's go.

And so all 74 Spartans started to walk in the same direction.

After 2 hours of walking they reached the place but still approached carefully, they were now at a distance of 30 meters from the pelican that would take them from this place, but by doing a quick scan around it they could see two armed men, this was not anything weird since they were now training to be soldiers but what caught their attention was the fact that neither of the men were using uniforms, so they immediately thought this soldiers must be Insurgents , Alex and John took command over the Spartans, they used the same strategy that they used with the wolves, they divided them in two groups of 37, Alex called the first one by saying his friend got hurt and was in danger, this man was attacked with stones from all directions until one of them was big enough to knock him out, the other one was attracted by some fake noise of a wolf and was knocked out the same way, after this the Spartans took control of the pelican and both weapons from de men guarding it, they used some handcuffs that they also found with the men to subdue them, and after writing the coordinates of the base on the autopilot they just sat and waited to arrive.
