After a few hours, all of Spartans had already undergo the procedure, they were now in coma, but should wake up soon.

???: Dr. Halsey, from what I know the morality and possible disability rate of the procedure is higher 70% from what I know, so tell me how many died during the procedure or become disabled?

Dr. Catherine Halsey: None Sir.

???: I was already expec... What!?!

Dr. Catherine Halsey: As I said, none Sir! It's a miracle!

???: How is this possible!? All 74 candidates survived and after one month will be ready for combat!?! I need to report this, the higher ups will be very pleased!! Keep up the good work Dr. Halsey, I'm going now!.... *Beep**Beep**Beep*

Dr. Catherine Halsey: They asked for super soldiers, here they are, and 74 of them!

After two more hours everyone was awake, they were happy to see all those familiar faces with them, some tried to hug each other, due to the happiness they were feeling, but their bodies were changed and they needed time to get used to it, resulting in some of them falling, some breaking the bed were they were tied up, while others were simply trying to maintain balance, this was one of the few happy moments they all shared, but one of them was even happier that everyone else, Alex, that was because he knew the rate of dead or future disability and after seeing all of them well and trying to stand straight he laughed, as he laughed everyone look at him and they couldn't comprehend him at all, after a closer look they saw that he had no difficulty walking, jumping or even running, that was because of his race and bloodline, but of course none of them knew that. After half an hour of talking and comparing their new physics, a man entered the room, they immediately recognized him, he was Chief Petty Officer Franklin Mendez, their instructor.

Instructor: I can see some of you are trying to stand and failing, but don't worry that is normal, in a few more minutes you will all be able to normally control your body, but it will take you one month to explore all your potential and the best place for you to do this faster and in a more efficient way, is by going to Atlas, this has been decided due to it's microgravity environment.

Now, I want to see you all in 20 minutes dressed in your formal attires and ready at the auditorium, that's because from today onwards you will all be officially UNSC Marines! Dismissed!

After 20 minutes everyone was present and 30 minutes after that the instructor was finishing his "great" speech, telling them about now having responsibilities and that they needed to complete the maximum number of missions to improve their ranks.

Instructor: ... Congratulations, you are officially UNSC marines!!!

Just a few seconds after saying this, they all shared tears of happiness, hugs, shouts and jokes, saying something like "we've conquered hell!!!".

One day had passed from the time they had turned marines, now they were on their way to Atlas. When they arrived they were installed and given a plan of work to make sure they would be at their best when they leave, but Alex decided not to follow the plan, since it was optional, the only condition placed on them was that after a month they needed to be at their best, but Alex was already adapted to his new body so he decided to train, he used the gym, the pool, shooting range and the fighting ring.

One of days he was training some soldiers that were not part of the program decided do pick a fight with him, he gladly took this opportunity to make sure he was in a good condition, to his surprise, he only toke 5 seconds to knock out 5 normal human elite soldiers, he was sure that in his past life this soldiers would be the best of the best, but now in just 5 seconds he took care of them, Alex realized at this moment the strength that the program could provide, even if he was not human he still felt the effects of the medical procedure he had undergo, his agility was now top notch, his strength was even better, his stamina was way more abundant than ever and his speed was faster several times in comparison to his old one.

This routine of training and hard working went for the rest of the month, at some point in time his team join in his training and also upgraded their overall power, but Alex was clearly the strongest.

And so today was the day they were leaving Atlas and returning to Reach, there they will receive their first mission. When day arrived they encountered a man.

???: Hello there, you must be Alex and you are John correct?

Both: Yes Sir.

???: Well you probably don't remember me, but I was with Dr. Halsey when she did the coin test to you.

Alex: I remember but I don't know your name Sir.

Lieutenant Jacob Keyes: Oh right, I'm Lieutenant Jacob Keyes, anyway I was just passing by when I saw you and remembered that you will receive your first mission today, so I thought it was a good I idea to give you some tips...

And so he told them what they should be paying attention to, some traps that are common and other things.

Lieutenant Jacob Keyes: No problem just go and be careful.

Lieutenant Jacob Keyes: I feel really bad for having them undergo this hell of procedure, this is the only thing I can help them with, at least for now...

They arrived at the office of Dr. Halsey, there she was sitting behind her desk next to the Instructor, there receive their mission along with a briefing.

Instructor: Your mission is a kill mission, meaning your objective is to kill a person, simple right? That would be the case if the person you are trying to kill was not an highly ranked officer from the insurgents, at first he was an officer from UNSC but he betrayed us giving us one more reason to kill him, we have identified a cargo ship that is transporting enough food to feed 2 cities, we are sure is transporting food for the insurgents, for that reason you will board the ship secretly, infiltrate enemy base and kill the target, remember quick and efficient, any questions...*none*... good. Dismissed!

They equipped themselves and 2 hours later were on their way to the cargo ship, currently equipped in highly tec black suits, they look very intimidating in other people eyes, that is if they saw them...
