2 Prologue (2)

It was any other day in my life. I was homeless because I couldn't find what I want to do in life. I hopped off the J train as it was the only place I can find to sleep with COVID-19 going on with the world.

I start planning my day for whatever I can accomplish as not only did I lose my job, but everything is basically closed in LES. I walk out of the Delancy/Essex station and start heading to the deli that's off of Ludlow as I don't eat from McDonald's for they always get me sick after. We all know that is not a good idea around this time.

As I turn to a dark alley so that I can use the bathroom, I'm looking around to make sure that no one is looking my way. I handle my business and pulled a bottle of hand sanitizer and use it to clean my body as best as I can.

I had a feeling like everything was going to change. As I leave the alley, I see that construction is happening on one of the sides of the sidewalk. I make a mental note to remember to avoid that route.

As I walk inside the gourmet deli, I talk with the guys as they know me by now as I usually get both breakfast and/or dinner a day. I was thinking to myself let's spice up breakfast today. As I walk up to the counter to place an order, the guy asks me, "bacon and egg?" I shake my head, "Not today, it's a good day so let's change it up. Let me get a stack of pancakes with bacon, eggs, and hash browns." I walk to the back of the store to get 2 large Arizona watermelon flavor drinks as the fruit punch are out. I go back to the register and told the guy $12 so that I can can give the guy a tip as I had no cash on me.

We talk more about COVID-19 as I wait for my order. 10 mins past and I have my order. I say bye to the people. As I walk outside the store, I say my hello to the manager of the store as he about to walk in himself.

I start walking to one of the free WiFi and charging station as my phone was around 15%. As I am down the block I past the gaming cafe to see that they are closed. I start to think about when they are going to reopen.

I set myself up against the linknyc box and start digging in my breakfast. After I let out a satisfy burp, I open my phone to watch some YouTube videos. LEC is a cluster fuck as people are in three way ties. Everyone trying to figure out who even second place. C9 just destroyed this split. I also see videos for yassuo, Timthetatman, BasicallyIDoWork, and Iam_Wildcat.

I click out so that I can watch those later and start reading my updated novels on webnovels. This is how I spent the next three hours of my day.

After I charge my phone, I head to Target. I purchase some toothpaste as I ran out recently. I also buy some Mike & Ike and Twizzlers.
