1 Waking up

The last thing I remember is going to sleep before waking up and seeing an unfamiliar ceiling, I tried to stand up from my place and lower my eyes little I see my hands and they are so small, why? I'm dreaming, right?

another thing is the room is built of wood it gave the feeling of an old house in the countryside the wall has a bear head I don't know if it is real or not, so I assume this is a hunter house, I need to find out what the hell is going on and what situation I'm in.

I called loudly "hello" to see if anybody was there and no one replied.

I start walking and find my feet are small my height low and even felt the hard ground and wood floor making a sound, after approaching the closed window I want to see my face, and I thought about this crazy situation I'm into, it gives me a terrible idea now.

My face is young-looking probably 5 or 6 years old with black hair and eyes light skin of Asian and a bandage over my head, did I get hurt? overall I look a little cute for a kid but this is not the important thing, the thing is I'M A KID!!!

I reincarnated in a kid body and this feeling of fear with my heart beating is all I need to know this is not a dream.

First thing first I need to know where I'm and calm down a little, so I walked out of the room and to see this house, and just like I thought this hunter house with only 2 rooms, a kitchen, small hall have a firewood stove, walls with animals fur and heads and even found a sword and arc.

'This is in the past medieval era or another world, I don't know but I need to get out from here to know'

I'm just about to grab the door to the outside it suddenly opened that makes me get back fast, entering from that door a man with a big build needs to crouch a little to enter wearing wolf fur over his body and a sword in hand, hard face look no different from a bandit, black eyes and hair just like me, maybe this kid father.

He sees me and starts to inspect me and I don't know how to react so I just keep an expressionless face as possible but he did surprise me by directly smiling and holding me up in the air and said

"hahaha look at you my boy you are in better condition than yesterday, to think you will recover in a matter of just 2 days, as expected from my son" he closed the door behind him and sat down in a chair and me in his lap.

That confirmed he is the father of this boy, I want to ask now the real question for me

"What happened to me ?"

He gets surprised by what I said: "you don't remember anything ?" I shook my head and he replied in a somewhat dejected tone.

"you did get injured in your first time training maybe it is temporary memory loss, don't worry you will be fine".

But sure enough, he get back to his cheerful look and said; "The thing is you unlocked your MAGICAL POWER!!!" that left me shocked, 'so it is not the past but another world and even one with magic like harry potter universe or maybe anime, I need to find out later'.

I said: "magic ? what kind of magic ?" and he said:" you didn't finish using it, when you get back to your perfect health we will start your real training" seriously? this guy.

Now I look closer look at the man's other hands he is holding something, it looks like a rabbit but not a normal one, bigger body and fur with dry blood and shit this thing has horns.

When the man sees that laughed and stand up and put me down saying:" I'm going to cook something for us to eat, go to play a little until I call you, boy".

I simply nodded to that and walked out of the house to see what the outside world look like indeed it is a forest, big trees with big leaves, and fresh cold air make me calm down and think carefully what is my next step.

I just sit down on the stairs and think about what I'm going to do in this life, this world have magic and lucky I have it and I'm just 6 years old so obviously I will train it to the max of my ability

First, I was a normal 20 years old young man in a college of technology, who have good parents, I don't have a lot of friends just a few real friends that were all I need, and few relationships with girls since I was taking good care of myself body and mind but that was until I enrolled the army for service.

My girlfriend said 'i can't wait for you that much' so that bitch like all the others left for a simple thing like that, I don't need her, didn't even love her, she was just good to get laid with that all.

I thought when I finish my army service I will get back to start working but instead, I stayed in the army because I like it. waking every day training. jogging in the morning in the mountain, noon classes about handling weapons, the day after you dismantle that weapon, and lastly shooting range is my favourite.

After finishing 2 years I officially ented the army, and just like that for another 20 years, I retired as Lieutenant Colonel at 42 years old, and let me say the army shitty workplace if you like to have calm nerves, with all responsibility you will have, so I did get tired of it.

Other than working I have hobbies like watching movies, series and anime even read manga when a Japanese guy I met in the army show it to me.

Now whether I'm dead or not it doesn't matter since I have a new life I will make good use of it by doing things can't do in the past life.

If I have magic then this is the time to try it out, and that makes me a little excited.

I closed my eyes, calm my breathing and see if I have anything, for 5 minutes I'm in the same position meditating is not that difficult for me since I practised yoga and meditated before.

And indeed I felt it like some energy flowing in my body from my head to my feet, and not just that now I felt it more it is all around me in my skin and the air, man this feeling is good.

I tried to move it in my body but nothing happened.

I stand up and walk to the nearest tree, I want to see my magic in action so I just punched the tree and it damn hurt but definitely not hurt as I was expecting there is little blood but that's all.

So this magical energy in my body makes the body stronger, which is good to know since I want to have a strong body to not die from the smallest thing I may face in the future.

And just 2 minutes passed while I was thinking about the hellish training I will do to make good use of this power, I felt my hand itch when I look at it I see another shocking thing today, my hand start to recover, and the blood stopped, and now it looks like new.

"Boy, come here the food is ready" the big man called, I need to go and eat to fill my belly.

when I get back to the house I see the man at the table with two chairs I sit on one and he on the other, we start eating the rabbit meat with soup of vegetables it good but not great.

after finishing, he said:" go get some sleep, tomorrow if you are fine then you will learn what magic you have and I will help you with it from my experience, plus I will train you how to use a sword since I use one too".

I said;" I will, thank you".

I bid him good night and walk to my room the one I woke up today in.

After putting my head in a little pillow from some animal fur maybe a sheep, I entered dreamland.

I wake up again seeing the same ceiling but this time is not unfamiliar to me, I hear a man's voice yelling I don't know what he is saying so I get close to the window and now hear him clearly.

"Guts came here, it's training time", this is my name?

Wait did he just call me Guts?
