7 The Fruits Of The "Hard" Training

"Show me my status" said Shawn curious to see his status after a month of hard training or, well, three days.

[Yes, master!]

After Shantia exclamation the blue screen he haven't seen in along time appeared again in front of Shawn eyes and it seemed it had had some changes.

"...Three? My battle power augmented only of three!? After all that hard training!? God, why are you so unfair!"

[...I won't exactly call it hard training. You have trained only for three days]

"...If I could return back in time I won't wish to free you" said Shawn with a deadpan tone. Shantia was right, he had only trained for three days but the fact that she was right doesn't mean she needed to say it to everyone. And it wasn't even his fault!

Thanks to his body, that was practically made of magic, he was capable of easily sensing it and so controlling it. He had learned to sense it the first day, the second to control it and the third to imbue it on various part of his body. Thanks to this he was capable of creating two new active abilities: the ki powered punch and the ki powered kick and, thanks to them, his level was surely beyond the battle power displayed on its status.

"That damn witch! Even though I learned all she had to teach me in only three days she forced me remain in that damn hole for a whole month. The only thing I did after those three days was running as fast as I could to escape her hugs. If it wasn't because of her and her obsession by now I would be many times stronger than now" said Shawn with a bitter tone. Prismin was too... clinging. And over protective too. If he hadn't been able to throw at her a punch strong enough to make her retreat a little she wouldn't have let him leave even after the one month time was ended. When he was still on earth and some of the guys at his school complained about how their girlfriends were too caring he thought they were crazy, how could you complain that someone love you too much? But now that he was experiencing the same thing, well, he could do nothing more than completely sympathize with them. She was making him crazy! There was more than one times when he thought of absorbing her to finally have some peace but, ultimately, he resisted that urge. It's real that she was too... annoying but she was because she loved him and she couldn't bear to kill someone only because it lived him too much, only a monster could do that.

One thing worth of note was that during that month he didn't eat nothing and he didn't even feel hungry. It shouldn't be so strange, after all his body is made of magic, but every characters of the series belonging to the Majin race was a ravenous eater, completely obsessed with food, so he thought they needed to eat so much because their body consumed too much energy, like vegeth of universe..., but this didn't seem the case. So maybe they eat so much because they like to do it? Who knows.

[Your battle power isn't so low, it's almost at the level of that of normal humas].

Shantia, feeling his delusion and dejection, tried to comfort him as best as she could but Shawn, being the dense person he was, wasn't capable of understand this and so, thinking she was making fun of him, said with a sarcastic tone "... You are trying to comfort me?! Who are you? You can't be Shantia, she doesn't know what being nice is. Are you an alien?".

[YOU DAMN IDIOT! I WAS JUST TRYING TO BE NICE! GO FUCK YOURSELF, STUPID! IDIOT!] shouted Shantia so strong that, even if she was shouting only in his mind, Shawn thought his ears were going to bleed.

He covered her ears with his hands to try to make the scream lower but, because she was screaming inside his head, it was useless. She shouted curse at him for at least another twenty minutes before stopping and then she did something completely unexpected...

...she began to cry. Hearing her Shawn slowly removed his hands from his hears and stared forward blankly. He would have expected anything from her except that she would have started to cry so it leaved him completely flabbergasted.

He began to feel guilty and so tried to apologize "...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said it"

[Sob Son N-No don-don't apologize. The one who should do it sh-should be me Sob Sob. It-it's only my fault] said Shantia while crying.

"What? You don't need to apologize. You did nothing"

"Shantia?"

"Please, speak with me"

"Sigh I will leave you alone then" Shawn, feeling guilty, tried so speak with her to apologize and make her calm down but, after trying to apologize herself, Shantia shut up and stopped to answer him so he decided to leave her alone and to concentrate on his new ability instead. He looked around at his surrounding. He was in the same forest he was in before but it seems that, after having ran for so much to go as fa away fro the nest as possible, he had reached a different area of it. The tree seemed to be taller than before and the previously green leafs were now red.

"The leafs are red? Maybe we are in autumn?"

He decided to not worry about it for the moment and instead concentrated on a stone in front of him. He clenched his right fist and...
