To distract his mind from the negative thoughts that assaulted his mind he brought up the system store window there were all sorts of technique, weapons, potions and elixir present in the system shop causing him to get excited, but when he saw their costs he almost slipped face first on the floor.

He thought as his eye twitched.'

'Hey system I think there's a mistake with these price's they're going far too high even after changing mine and Sophie's fate I don't even have half the necessary fate points to buy stuff from this shop'.

[Ding! The host has no reason to be displeased the system reassures the host that all the products displayed in the shop are worth their price.]

[As for the number of fate points received, it is only because you have only changed a small part of your destiny that you have received a small number of points as you continue to change your fate you shall receive more points.]

Hearing this, Alex felt a little relieved but was once again reminded of the fate awaiting him and his house if he was to fail in his mission.

Alex dismissed the system window with a though as he arrived at his family's dinning hall where member's of the Magnus family would have their breakfast and dinner, but it seems like he was the first to arrive today.

Alex took a seat at the table to wait for the other's when he heard an almost robotic sounding voice from behind him which was both familiar and unfamiliar to him.

"Good morning Al, it's nice to see you again after a long time".

He turned around to find a girl in her teens with a doll like face having long and curly pale blonde hair that reaches her hips and her droopy grey eyes which almost seemed to suck a person in them.

One would have almost thought that she was almost emotionless hearing her voice for the first time, but those are close to her would be able to tell would be able to tell that she was currently happy and excited.

"Good morning Ria it's good to see you too, but aren't you going to call be big brother Al like you used to when you followed me all around the castle in the past".

The doll like beauty had an almost unnoticeable blush on her face as she pouted slightly.

"Ahh... come on Al you promised that you wouldn't bring that up again, I'm already 16 and it's embarrassing"

Alex couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the words of the blonde haired beauty.

Though he had to admit it was quite amusing to hear that she was embarrassed while having almost no expressions except for a slight blush on her face.

The girl who was now taking a seat right next to him was his younger step-sister who had just returned from the magic academy in the royal capital last night, Aria she was also one of the fated one whom he had to overcome in order to save himself from his imminent demise.

Alex had no plans to harm her though and was planning on solving it through other means as she was family and one of the few people he would even burn the world to protect.

This was the reason he had asked the system if it was necessary to kill the fated ones to complete the missions. He could be a lot of things and was quite a twisted person, but he would never be someone who would betray family just for a bit of power, if the system had insisted that it is necessary to eliminate her he would not have complied even if it meant death.

The two of them continued to make small talk until a maid arrived which he recognized as his mother personal maid.

"Greetings young master, young lady, the duchess has sent me to tell you that she will be unavailable for a few days as she has been called to the royal castle by his the Emperor.

Hearing this a collective sigh was released from the pair of siblings.

Aria asked.

"Do you think it's about that matter again?"

"What else could it be except for that".
