12 Love Confession

(MC POV)

On my arrival at Xia Manor's Guest hall, I saw Chu Yueli offering Qingyue a choice to join their ranks to which Qingyue politely rejected.

Unknowingly, a smile surfaced on my face, and my heartfelt warm. But the atmosphere became a little awkward for Chu Yueli.

Will anyone reject becoming Frozen Cloud Asgard's disciple? The answer is no. Even a beggar in the Blue Wind Empire knows how prestigious Frozen Cloud Asgard is. What if a Fairy from Frozen Cloud Asgard offers the same? Many will think of it as a god-sent opportunity.

But here Qingyue not at all bothering about that rejected Fairy Chu invitation.

Chu Yueli doubted her own hearing and once again asks, "I think I didn't hear you clearly. Come again?"

Qingyue's voice turns a little colder, "Fairy Chu, I am not interested in joining your sect." She turns to her father and says timidly, "Father, I am going back to my room if there is nothing important."

Qingyue walked back to her room as if she is not the one who got offered to become a disciple of Frozen Cloud Asgard.

Chu Yueli got dumbfounded.

Xia Hongyi on hearing what his daughter said, smiles wryly, "Fairy Chu, my daughter is still young. She is not interested in seeking power. I hope Fairy Chu understands and not take it to heart."

Hearing Xia Hongyi's words Chu Yueli came to her senses and says, "I understand. But let me remind you, once your daughter loses this opportunity she will in no way get it back. So.."

Xia Hongyi cuts her in the middle, "Fairy Chu, joining or not I left the decision to her. I don't decide it for her. If she wanted to join, I would never say no to her. As she already rejected your offer, by no means I can force her."

Understanding the situation, Chu Yueli turns back and left to inform their Sect Mistress. She hopes that she will one day bring Qingyue to join her sect.

Once Chu Yueli left for Frozen Cloud Asgard. I made my way to Qingyue's room. I slowly opened the door of her room.

Qingyue sat on the bed and is in deep thought. I approached her. Seeing me, her face started shining with smiles which is unlike the atmosphere she created in the Guest Hall.

"Brother Che, I have been waiting for you." She ran to me and hugged me. I hug her back.

I took her to the courtyard. She kept clinging to me.

I ask her curiously "Qingyue, why did you reject their offer?"

Qingyue's facial expression fluctuated a little, "Brother Che, what are you talking about? I don't.."

"Qingyue, why didn't you join Frozen Cloud Asgard?" Not wanting her to misunderstand I say " I mean, they are one of the top sects of our Empire and you could learn their techniques, raise your cultivation and you can..... ... meet your mother."

Qingyue listening to me hung her head low and says "I don't want to."

I got confused. What did she mean by saying she didn't want to. Didn't she want to become strong to find her mother and complete her little family?

"Qingyue, don't you want to meet your mother? Why don't..."

Tears started dripping down her cheeks and fell on my shoulders. Her grip on me got a litter tighter "I want to meet my mother. I want to bring her back. But... I don't want to leave your side. I...I am afraid if I leave you, I won't get to see you again. I love my mother, father. And I also love you. But my love is different for you from them.

I want to spend more and more time with you. I want to listen to your jokes, laugh with you, walk with you hand in hand, and much more. My heart beats faster when I am with you. No matter how many times I touch you, my heartbeat gets faster and faster.

I feel content even if you are just by my side. I don't want to leave you. And I don't want you to leave me. So... don't..... don't think of sending me far away from you."

I got shaken to the core. What? What on Profound Continent is happening? Is Qingyue co-n-fess-ing her love for me? It's too good to be true. I pinched myself. It pains. So, it's not a dream. I am not dreaming. Qingyue really did confess her feelings to me.

What should I do? This is my first time getting confessed by a girl. That too a girl I love. I am not that unlucky as when I was on Earth. Thank goddess!

Qingyue seeing that I am not responding was trembling. She was blushing very hard as she just realized her words.

"B-brother C-che, I.."

Seeing her like that I had an urge to tease her but I held it back. I tried to calm her. I pulled her to a hug and lifted her chin upwards to face me and said resolutely,

"Qingyue, I too have been in love with you for a long time. I was afraid you would reject me. I didn't think you would be the one to confess. I am surprised but I am happier."

I hug her tightly and say what's in my mind, "I love you Qingyue. Will you be my wife?"

Tears once again started dripping from her eyes which she wiped gently and said "I would love to"

The sun was setting and looking into my eyes, she gave a nod. I pulled my lips closer to hers and our lips met. I started gently caressing her neck.

At first, I was the one actively engaging but after some time she too started taking an active part, she gave entry to her mouth which I gladly accepted. Our tongues started entangling each other and we started making out.

I felt a heavenly sensation from them. I didn't think a kiss would be this awesome. I tried to savor every moment and carve these memories deep in my heart. This is my Qingyue. I would never leave her side.
