"H-hi..."
As I opened the door, a female mercenary was waiting. It was the one who was looking at me with a shining eyes earlier.
She has a brown hair, black eyes, a black vest, I assume that's for protection along with a helmet and a goggles.
On her back was an assault rifle, I don't know what kind-
『It's called ASR-35』
Ehem... Apparently it's called ASR-35 according to my assistant.
What an information weeb.
『You know I know your thoughts right?』
"Hello there, uhh?"
"O-oh uhh, It's Streya."
She seems to be the shy person of the group
"I see, so you're gonna be my tour guide huh"
I said as I lent my hand towards her.
"Yes... huh- wait whaaa?!"
She was just staring at my hand so I just grabbed her instead and pulled her towards my jeep.
"Hey leader, we'll go to Olkham first is that okay??"
I said as I looked at the leader who was eating on a campfire, he just replied with a thumb's up.
"Looks like I got his permission."
"Ehh? Ehhhh?"
"Let's get going now"
"EHHHH!?!?!?"
*Vrooooom!*

"..."
"..."
Well this is awkward.
It has been atleast 30 minutes since we departed towards Olkham.
At first Streya was panicking like a lot, but after a while she finally calmed down.
It seems like she realized what her party was planning.
"So, can you tell me about your past?"
I said, trying to break the awkward silence.
"Uh... I- I grew up in the slums with my best friend..."
Oh... slums...
『You are terrible at communicating.』
I know I know, you don't have to tell me.
"Best friend? was that the girl with the leader?"
"Yes... we grew up together... "
"I survived this far in life because of her, she became a mercenary after meeting the leader, she also ask him to let me tag along his party..."
"I see" I said, not knowing what to reply
We're getting closer and closer to Olkham now, I can see the skyscrapers towering on the mobile city.
"Olkham is a pretty city."
I said, admiring the city lights coming from the building.
『You should have started the conversation with that.』
She remarked, likewise staring in the distant city, "Yeah, it truly is."
I asked, eager for the trip, "So where should we go first?"
She stammered, "I-it's nearly night time, so we should find lodgings first."
"Okay, then lead the way to a good inn for me."
"No, I'll show you the best Inn," she said.
