50 Progress Of The Empire(150 yr timeskip)

Two teenage boys stood in a store stacked to the brim with merchandise. Along the shelves hang many model kit sets depicting blue space soldiers carrying rifles and many sorts of weaponry. Accompanying them were collections of bronze coloured skeletal robots with green laser weaponry.

"Well this is it, pick whatever one you want to start with" said one of them.

"Just like that, it it hard to put together?" Asked the other one. This young man heavily resembled Hu Wenxi if a few years younger. He was not wearing ancient decorated robes nor royal regalia. He was just in a regular red T-shirt and jeans.

"Yeah don't worry, I'll guide you through the process. Then pick a colour scheme and you can paint them" instructed the first boy.

"Sure, I can't wait to try these out" was Hu Wenxi's answer.

The emperor's eyes slowly opened within the throne hall. He was seated upon his throne whilst resting his head on his knuckle. 'I must've dozed off' he thought. For the most part cultivators usually cultivated instead of sleeping but some like Hu Wenxi loved to take naps often.

Around the emperor officials were moving about. The recent Chinese new year flower street had been a success with the civilians. However the time for that is over and work was needed to clean up the streets.

"That dream" muttered the emperor, "I had not thought about that time in a long time". As his awareness slowly returned to him he could see Hu Wei approaching him. His uncle had changed in the last 150 years since the star kingdom rebellion.

His cultivation hadn't improved by much but he seemed to be a lot more sad these days. Of course the debacle with Hu Diyi had hurt the man deeply. He was forced to watch as his own son sentence his grandson to punishment due to treason.

In the end Hu Diyi did not hold much knowledge about Aadar's lot but they did get a name in the end after intensive investigation. The universal power known as the 'All in One sect'. Ao Chanying had recognised that name as one of the factions at war with another, the 'Paragon sects alliance'.

Turns out Aadar had a powerful background protecting him. Sadly for him Ao Changying and by extension the Yin dynasty had a backing of equal magnitude. Aadar's young master had not come to retrieve him nor made mentions of him.

It was a sombre time for the Hu imperial clan, their most talented young master was a traitor ensnared by outside forces. The standard procedure was naturally execution but Hu Wang Tian could not do it. The man begged Hu Wenxi to save his son's life.

"Brother please. He's only a boy who knows nothing" the image of Hu Wang Tian kowtowing before Hu Wenxi came to mind. The emperor had wanted to kill the young man for endangering his family. He was not even a child but a man fully grown and of age with Hu Jin Shen.

In the end Hu Wenxi bound his cultivation and sent him to live in a lower realm for a hundred years hoping that will fix him up. When Hu Diyi returned, he no longer contacted his old associates and fully focused on cultivation. He'd even joined the military under Hu Tong Shan.

Neither Qiang Wei Hua nor Nan Cui He were particularly happy about letting Hu Diyi go like this. However Hu Wang Xian's begging had made Hu Wenxi's decision for him.

"What does a child's behaviour say about the parent" Qiang Mei Hua had criticised. Nan Cui He and Yi Sun Jin's silence at embarrassed looks made their stance clear. However Xiang Shi Bo unfortunately took that decision as a win for her.

Xiang clan had made much of an uproar in all the years they served. They still managed the Floating Rivers realm, the lower realm Hu Wenxi originated from, as their domain. Xiang Shi Bo's behaviour was only really restricted to the palace and upper society. It did not impact the empire too much.

Hu Wenxi sat contently watching Hu Wei approach him. His inner cosmos was still very luminous showcasing incredible power but he had made very little progress. "Your majesty" he bowed low, "Our armies had recovered to a standard befitting of its former strength as you instructed".

Hu Wenxi nodded, "Have our scouts returned?" He asked. Hu Wei nodded and handed a scroll report regarding the ongoings of the outside world. Hu Wenxi read through it carefully and smiled, "Very good, send word to general Yi, begin mustering our forces".

Hu Wei bowed in obedience, "As your command your majesty" he respectfully turned to leave for his duty. Hu Wenxi stood up and disappeared.

The emperor had teleported away from the imperial capital and manifested above a bright mountain range. The light of creation was visible shining all above like the sun in its highest point. Ancient statues lined in two rows assembled along a winding road that led to a massive heavenly gate with a massive sign engraving, "Creation God sect".

In an instant Hu Wenxi had crossed tens of thousands of kilometres and reached the Creation God sect. The place was a haven for cultivation worthy of the name holy ground. It was situated within the dancing raining province and bordered several other provinces with major river networks. The sect itself didn't answered to those nobles and even directly controlled dozen of mortal kingdoms within those provinces.

Hu Wenxi landed gracefully and entered the mountain gate. The guards standing at the entrance looked frightfully faint but otherwise did not impede him. Hu Wenxi walked through the gate and into the sect proper. He witnessed dozens of floating platforms all emanating golden light and grounds paved in carved stone. Hundreds of disciples were training and cultivating under instructors.

'It hasn't changed' thought Hu Wenxi thinking back to near four hundred years ago when he had first visited this sect.

"I don't know why but the patriarch had instructed for you to stay here" scoffed an inner disciple who had guided the younger Hu Wenxi to a luxurious personal manner on it's own private mountain. Hu Wenxi only had a backpack on him, custom made to fit him and a little black snake wrapped around his forearm.

The older emperor watched as ethereal images of these events pass by him when he toured the compounds once again. Servants, disciples, and elders bowing deeply in respect. Amongst them was a certain elder who looked oddly familiar to the guy who showed him his room, he in particular stood extremely nervously.

Hu Wenxi smiled upon seeing him. Ao Changying had hidden herself back then in order to not cause a scene. Hu Wenxi had recently participated in a tournament across the province and gained the attention of Qiang Wang.

"Yes this is where this all started" remained Hu Wenxi when he arrived at his old compound. It was still very luxurious and spacious, it was the same as it was when he left it.

"Ah xixi you didn't tell me you were visiting" Qiang Wang's cheerful voice called out to Hu Wenxi from behind. Only in private would Qiang Wang dare call Hu Wenxi by that name. However Hu Wenxi had never really protested to it.

"I want to personally let you know the good news" announced Hu Wenxi with excitement. Qiang Wang's eyes widened in understanding followed by a grin of his own. Hu Wenxi's father-in-law is a shred man but one with a motivation easy see.

The Human Immortal welcomed the True Immortal inside the mansion. Its interior was honestly so rich that Hu Wenxi found it gaudy. "We've kept it the same in case you need it" Qiang Wang revealed with pride. Hu Wenxi nodded and touched the golden plastered walls and sculptures decorated with myriad jewellery.

"Yes, thank you for that father. Anyway, this is the report Hu Wei sent in regarding possible targets" Hu Wenxi handed the scroll to Qiang Wang to view. The Human Immortal scanned them with stern interest.

"I think these locations are good, not much resistance and resource rich" Qiang pointed at several lower realms that were also positioned in a way that they surrounded an upper realm. Hu Wenxi nodded, they'd also serve as staging ground to launch troops.

"I am planning to assemble the generals soon. I'd like for you to be there as one of my chief advisers" commanded the emperor. Qiang Wang nodded smiling and replying "Naturally".

All of Qiang Wang's life goals had thus far been achieved. Hence he would naturally be willing to work with Hu Wenxi. His grandson was a monstrous talent and next in line to the throne. He had little hope of reaching True Immortal, perhaps in the far future he'd cultivate the divine path and tie himself to a religion. At least that'll give him pseudo immortality, if not then Hu Jin Shen can carry on as his legacy.

For someone like Qiang Wang who had accomplished everything he set out to do, he was content. However he was also someone hungering for more. For the past century he had planned extensively with Hu Wenxi for the expansion program into nearby space. As they were the strongest in the area it was naturally for him, ahem Hu Wenxi ahem, to rule.

"I will be at the capital by next week. I will prepare our warriors and they will be up to your expectations your majesty" Qiang Wang grinned as he said so. "The other holy grounds and lesser sects should also be mustering to march with you".

Hu Wenxi accepted Qiang Wang's warriors and all the soldiers contributed by the sect. To be frank in a war between cultivator factions especially involving immortals, ordinary troops were unnecessary. Fodder will be the equivalent of ants amongst giants. Only with battle formations led by competent generals can they succeed to accomplish anything.

Of course for mortals who don't understand how immortal wars work it will serve as a mighty fright tactic. Hu Wenxi's Yin dynasty could field a standing army of Nascent Soul to Spirit Transformation troops easily reaching into the millions.

Xiantian soldiers in the hundred thousands, Essence Condensation in the tens of thousands, Heavenly Connection and Crossing Tribulations experts in the thousands. Dozens of Martial Saints were also expected along with a handful of Human Immortals. Hu Wenxi will also be leading the army.

To be honest one Hu Wenxi as a True Immortal was worth more then the collective fighting power of the entire upper realm. Maybe a weaker immortal such as Yinying Yan would've fallen to such a force but the standard True Immortal will certainly not.

As Hu Wenxi waited within his palace he looked out the window and towards the skies. It was sunset and dozens upon dozens of celestial sky barges were seen. Titanic ships several kilometres in length resembling flying temples mounted on large stone platforms. Half a dozen enchanted automatons of stone lions hundreds of metres tall stood guard atop each ship.

"Impressive sight" murmured Ao Changying who stood besides the emperor. The dragoness had not done much in the past century aside from challenging the heavenly tribulation. She had since risen to the realm of a Demonic Sage. Demonic Sages were the equivalent of True Immortals for those who walked the path of monster cultivation.

"So even you agree huh" replied Hu Wenxi. In his mind he could also picture majestic music playing the background as the fleet rose into the air. It almost reminded him of the ninth movie in that one sci-fi series. They were set to leave in a few days along with most experts in the empire.

"I hope you won't cause too much trouble with this, lord knows the danger of wanton expansion" warned the dragoness. Hu Wenxi nodded agreeing with her, the Blades had also done an admirable job scouting the outer regions. This was made all the more easier with Blade 1's ascension into Martial Sainthood.

Hu Wenxi took a step outside stepping onto a balcony outside the palace interior. In the distance he could see Nan Cui He hugging both her children goodbye. Hu Yin and Hu Tong Shan had both grown up a lot and are now set to follow him into battle. Hu Jin Shen should already be on the ships.

The emperor gazed down at the distant castle a fair distance away from pure blossom palace. Hu Lan Yue's had grown into a beautiful woman whose's charm were exemplified by immortal Qi. She could be seen frantically painting away on her canvas. Hu Wenxi sighed helplessly, his youngest daughter took his advice all those years ago and transformed it into a whole carrier. Painting has essentially became her Dao.

"No matter, as long as it's good for her" Hu Wenxi and Ao Changying took flight before teleporting into space. The titanic ten thousand metres dragon appeared besides the robed emperor floating before a fleet of hundreds of massive ships with still more on the way.
