8 The war between the heart and mind

A human is born with a heart and a mind. One rational other emotional. Never come together as time pass. The mind's choice is heartless, the heart's choice is thoughtless. Leaving the soul that suffers the pain of the choice till death.

Did it rained or was rain covering my tears? The taste of betrayal, anger, suffering...too many to count, too many to express. My raging heart and my detective mind fighting each other in endless battles. Too much to think, too much to understand. Should I unleash my anger or succumb to my thoughts. What am I going to do?

One side is my parents and the other is a potential clue to him. Why is God being cruel to me by letting me see this. A choice of a lifetime. A wrong turn will end it regret. What am I, Thomas going to do?

Thomas rested his back on the wall. Staring at the stormy clouds up in the sky. It was as if the heavens was sharing his pain. Should I kill him? or should I leave him? Should I torture him or should I follow him? Should I burn him or should I catch him? Should I scare him or should I ..........destroy his soul. Thomas clenched his fist, so hard that blood started to come. His fingernails digged deep into the flesh.

Mind: - Cool down Thomas. It isn't like he is going to run away. You know about this meeting. You can later hunt him and his targets and the main guy down. Piece by piece. Just like how that man torture him. Slowly like a true detective.

Heart: - Thomas don't listen to your mind. Destroy him. Annihilate him. We can take care of the consequences later. With your past knowledge you can kill the main guy soon. So don't worry Thomas. Just burn everything with your power. Quick and deadly. BURN. BURN. BURN!!! Be as proper son to your family Thomas.
