10 The first move
"Sorry heart, it looks like I am going to follow my mind" Thomas thought.
Thomas returned home after eating. He then went up to the board to fill up the new information he found

-senior - may not be the only one betraying the police force
Thomas stared at the board planning on his next move.
He could start the chase or continue investigating. After carefully thinking for a while he chose the latter. The time is ticking and the killer will evolve slowly. It is the best time to eliminate his support. Or else it will be too late and blood will spill the roads.
He circled senior's name and went to sleep.
TOMORROW MORNING
Thomas woke up and did his usual routine before entering the police station. He moved towards the chief's office, and knocked on his door.
"Enter"
Thomas walked in and he saw the chief frowning on some documents. He knew what the case was. It was hit and run one. The car was found destroyed and the passengers were found dead at the spot. It seemed that the one died was John Michelson. No one seemed to drive through the road and the cameras were sabotaged. News reporters were eager to get on this news and the pressure increased on the detectives. No one was available to take the case, the latest predicted availability of a detective is 5 days. The longer the delay, lesser the evidences gathered and higher chances of the culprit to escape. With no further delays.....
"Sir, I have finished the case."
"Sigh, good now submit the report and go and help your seniors. We need all hands on board. Stupid senior officers giving us such a pointless case at such a time."
"I meant I solved the case sir"
"I kno...wait what did you say?"Chief stood up
"I solved the case and found out the culprit"
"Good. Who is it?"
"Sir first can I start from the beginning so you can understand the situation properly"
"Go ahead."
"Sir, I first entered...........and that's how I found your senior to be the culprit"
"Hmm, physical abuse and murder. Moreover an attempt to cover it. Are you sure you saw what you saw? Because it might become a huge problem if it backfires on us."
"I am clear with what I saw sir."
"Good. If you solve this case. I might need your help with another one."
"Sir before I take on the new one can I visit my brother?"
"Sure. Now go and submit a formal report so I can issue a search warrant."
"Yes sir."
Thomas walked over to his desk. He then imputed the information...

Thomas printed the document and went towards the chief's office. When he entered the door he was greeted by another detective.
"Meet John Carter, he is going to enter the department as an assistant detective for a few months before fully promoting. And you Thomas, if you solve this case, you will be promoted to a full-time detective. I have called the task force and approved your search warrant. Here you go."Chief gave Thomas some documents with police seals. "John will be accompanying you for this case. Go ahead and introduce yourself, they will be here in a few minutes at the minimum."
"Thomas Anderson. My pleasure to meet you"
"John Carter. The pleasure is mine. Hope we can work together as a proper team"
"Same. Well we will have a lot of time later after we finish this case."
"Sure sir."
Chief then received the call. After attending it....
"The task force is here. Get your ass out there and get me that criminal."
"Yes sir" Both of them replied
They walked out and met with the task force.
"Okay guys we need to go the mansion at 13 meyer street. Let's go"
"Yes sir."
They boarded and took of to the mansion.
SOON
Thomas and his team stood in front of the creepy mansion.
"Okay team A you guys cover the lawn, make sure that there is no possible escaping opportunities. I need you guys to mainly cover the office room. Team B the moment we breached you guys follow me to the office room. Team C cover the other family members and check each room. Am I clear?"
"Yes sir!"
"Good. Now move"
Thomas smiled. Let the chase begin.
"Breach the doors!!!"
