30 Sheren Family

"Yes, you need to call Mio again later. Don't forget your best friend because of a boyfriend. You need to remember that you can't throw away your friends because of a man," Mr. Sheren looked at Lia seriously.

"Dad, I never ignore my best friend because of a man. You know how close I am with Mio," Lia Sheren looked at her Father with dissatisfaction.

"I know. I am only afraid that you forget about Mio because of dating all the time," Mr. Sheren said with an aggrieved tone.

"Dad, you love Mio more than me. Do you know that I am not dating all the time, right?" Lia glared at her Father, but it didn't make her Father afraid of her.

"Of course, I love Mio because she was the one who saved your life, and it doesn't mean that I don't love you either. You will work all the time when you are not dating," Mr. Sheren ate his breakfast silently.

"Dad, do you hate me so much?" Lia looked at her Mother with aggrieved eyes. Mrs. Sheren gave a signal from her daughter and turned her gaze at Mr. Shere.

"Why do you look at me like that, honey?" Mr. Sheren didn't know why his wife glared at him with anger written all over her face.

"You can stop bullying Lia, right here right now. You know that you can't lock her up at home all the time and forbid her to get married. She won't be your little baby forever, Honey," Mrs. Sheren said with a gentle voice.

Mrs. Sheren was angry, but she still spoke gently towards her husband. Mr. Sheren looked at his wife with grievances, his invisible tail hanging down, and his invisible puppy ears were also hanging down.

Mr. Sheren looked like an abandoned little puppy whose owner didn't love him anymore.

"I am not bullying Lia at all. I only-," Before Mr. Sheren could continue his words, Mrs. Sheren already cut him off.

"Honey, can you shut up your mouth, please?" Mrs. Sheren's face remained calm even though she looked at her husband with dissatisfaction.

"But I-," Mr. Sheren wanted to say something, but Mrs. Sheren talked first, "Honey, don't let me repeat my words for the second time. You can shut your mouth when I still talk to you gently."

Mr. Sheren didn't dare to refute his wife's words because Mrs. Sheren was scarier when she got angry.

"Lia, you need to know that your Dad is depressed because you will move out of our house when you get married to Ken Phillian.

Your Dad is only worried that you ignored Mio because of your busy schedule," Mrs. Sheren looked tenderly at Lia.

"I understand, Mom. I never forget about Mio because of my busy schedule. I will contact Mio again later. You don't need to worry about that.

Ken always reminds me to contact Mio from time to time," Lia said with a gentle voice.

"It is a relief then," Mrs. Sheren said with a smile.
