26 Move Out

Claude continued eating his food rather than answered Mio back. Claude couldn't rush and forced Mio to get close to him. His relationship with Mio is not proper for now, so he needs to try harder next time.

I saw Claude didn't open his mouth to answer me and continued his meal. I could see Claude stopped himself to pick a fight with me. Even though I seem harsh, I still have a soft heart inside.

I don't know why Claude is different from before, but I don't want to overthink because I will hope more than before. Even after I left Claude's side, I never fell in love with any other guy.

Even after I left Claude, my heart belonged to him. I was pathetic because my heart couldn't let him go. Even now, my heart still has space for him to enter. For now, let's forget about this emotion. If Claude is my destiny, then he will be mine in the future. I didn't open my mouth and continued our lunch silently.

After we finished our lunch, Claude was the one who paid for the lunch. I never knew when his arm circled around my waist, and I also didn't resist him. It was also the first time that Claude asked me to have lunch together. I wanted to do this in the past.

I looked outside and suddenly realized that it was not the way home at all.

"Where do you bring me? It is not the way home at all," I asked him calmly.

Claude turned his gaze at me, and his eyes turned back at the street.

"Don't they tell you that we will move out and live alone? Strangely, they didn't tell you anything about this," Claude said with a shocked tone.

"I think they will tell you, but I never imagine that they forgot to tell you," Claude said with a pitiful voice.

"They never said anything about this to me," I turned my gaze at Claude with skeptical eyes.

Even though Claude didn't turn his gaze at Mio, Claude could feel that she didn't believe him at all.

"Don't look at me like that because I am not lying at you. Mom and Dad already prepared a new house for us, and they also said that they didn't want us to interfere with their time together. They also said that they would travel together to enjoy their second honeymoon," Claude shook his head helplessly.

Claude didn't lie at all when he said that his parents would enjoy their second honeymoon. Wei Lockheart told Claude that he would give Claude everything so he can have a second honeymoon with his mother.

Claude sees his parents are still romantic with each other even though they are not a young couple anymore.

Claude also realized that Mio didn't believe him at all. He used to be a scumbag, so now Mio can't believe him and thinks of him as a liar.

"If you don't believe me, you can call mom right now," Claude said with a sorrow tone. Claude looked at Mio with a pair of sad eyes that said, 'Am I a liar in your mind?'

I couldn't bear his pitiful eyes when he looked at me. I still have a heart and not a heartless one.

"I don't mean it like that. I don't think that you are a liar, but I will call Mom to make everything clear," I said while picking up my phone and dialed Mom's number.

Jane saw Mio's name on her phone screen, and she picked up the call.

"Hello, Mio, what is it? Your dad and I are abroad right now. Do you know that traveling around the world is our dream? Are you okay with Claude alone for a while? It needs one year before we go back to the country. We believe that Claude can take care of you while we're gone," Jane said with a happy tone.

"Mom, Are you and Dad not in the country? When did you depart? Why didn't you tell me anything before you go? I can send you away, but you go abroad before telling us. Why do you travel for a long time? Why does it have to be a year? Why didn't you tell me that we will move out after marriage? Why didn't you tell me anything?" I said with a pitiful tone.

"Mio, calm down. Please, don't ask me so many questions at a time. I will answer you one by one, so please, be patient. After you departed to register your marriage, we also went to the airport. I am sorry for not telling you anything, and you also know that it is our dream to travel alone.

Tears escaped from my eyes, and I couldn't stop sobbing. I forgot that they talked to me about moving out but I never thought that they were serious at that time.

"Mio? What did Mom say?" Claude took a glance at Mio, but he was stunned to see Mio's tears.

"Mio? Are you okay?" Claude asked Mio again, but Mio didn't answer him at all.

Claude drove away to their new house without bothering Mio anymore. Claude didn't know why Mio cried, but he would ask Mio again when she calmed down.

Not long after that, they finally arrived at their new house. Claude parked his car in the garage and turned his gaze at Mio. Mio already closed her eyes with tears flowing in her face.

Claude didn't wake Mio up and held her to the house, and he brought a sleeping Mio to the master bedroom and put her body on the soft bed. Claude covered Mio with a warm quilt and left the bedroom.

Even though it is the master bedroom, Claude decided to sleep in another bedroom. Claude doesn't want to sleep in the same bedroom before Mio can accept him as her husband. Right now, he forces Mio to be with him, so before Mio can fall in love with him again, Claude doesn't want to sleep in the same room with Mio.

Claude walked to the other bedroom in the house and laid down on the soft bed. After that, Claude decided to take a bath and took a nap. But before he could take a nap, his phone vibrated on the table next to his bed. He picked up the phone and saw Key's name on the screen. Claude rolled his eyes and picked up the call.

"Hello, do you know that you are bothering me right now? I am so tired and need time to take a rest," Claude opened his mouth first before Key spoke.

Key Reman is Claude's best friend, and he is a movie director. Key Reman, Len Sky, & Claude Lockheart built Jean Entertainment together. Len Sky is a gold broker who brings an artist to the top of entertainment. Key and Len are not the first son, so they didn't have a responsibility to inherit their family business.

"I call you because it is more important than anything. The thing you said to us before really happened. The airplane that Len and I were going to be in had an accident," Key's voice trembled in fear when imagining that He and Len really got on that plane.
