"What exactly did I do Lu Beichen? It's not as if I said anything wrong right? It's not a lie that Li An's mother is the daughter of the Li Family right?" Li Ran asked. Her gaze was so innocent that it was impossible to find a fault with the words that she had said..

Li An and Lu Beichen looked at Li Ran. This isn't the Li Ran that they used to know at all! Li Ran has changed a lot!

Lu Beichen still had his hands around about Li An. He did not believe that Li Ran does not have any more feelings for him! He thought that she must have been triggered by something that Lu Sichen said to her. He was sure that as long as he provoked Li Ran enough, she will go back to the naive and stupid Li Ran who loves him without a care in the world. So, he had his hands around Li An , hoping to provoke Li Ran. Li Ran is someone who has never been able to hide her feelings. It all shows on her face like an open book.

However, Lu Beichen saw that Li Ran's gaze did not even flicker once! She was just looking at him and Li An like she was watching a show. Does Li Ran really not love him anymore?

"Li Ran you....why do you have to keep bringing this up? You know exactly how Li An feels about it!" Lu Beichen said.

"What exactly did I do wrong? It's not ask if I'm lying right? Her mother is really the daughter of the Li family. It's just that her father isn't.... anyway, that doesn't change the fact that she still has the Li family blood running in her! She's still a member of the Li family! What? Does she want to deny her roots? No matter what, her parents will always be parents! She can't deny that fact!" Li Ran said.

Her words were so reasonable that no one could find anything wrong with it.

Li An looked at Li Ran. She felt more strongly that something must have happened to Li Ran. Something that made her change overnight!

"I'm not trying to deny my roots Li Ran... anyway, forget it! Let's not talk about me" Li An said. She knew for sure that she will be the one we a losing end if they continued this topic. She should just let it go while she can.

Li Ran looked at Li An with a smile on her face. She's still as smart as ever. It's good that she's still smart. Anyway, it won't be fun if she gets her revenge on Li An so easily will it?

"Anyway, I just want to know what exactly you mean by all of this. You and brother Beichen used to be so in love...are you really going to abandon everything like this? I thought that the both of you...Li Ran you can't be such a materialistic person!" Li An said.

No one there was an idoit. Li An was saying that Li Ran is only agreeing to be with Lu Sichen because he is the one in charge of the entire Lu Cooperation now!

"She already said that she doesn't want to have anything to do with Lu Beichen anymore! Are you going to force her to continue a relationship with him? Do you want her to cheat on her husband? And, why do you think Li Ran will choose Lu Beichen over Lu Sichen? It's not like she's blind! Even you, Li An won't do that!" Sun Mei Mei's booming voice sounded.

Li Ran raised her eyes and saw Sun Mei Mei walking towards them. She must have been waiting for her in class for some time. She probably thought that she has taken too long so she came to find her.

Lu Beichen glared at Sun Mei Mei. He really hates this woman! She is the person who doesn't want to see him with Li Ran the most!

Li Ran did not miss the hatred that Lu Beichen had in his eyes for Sun Mei Mei. She really asked herself why she did not see this man for who he really is for the ten years that she was married to Lu Sichen.

Back then, he had told her that Sun Mei Mei was jealous of her. He even told her that Sun Mei Mei likes him but because he did not accept her, Sun Mei Mei has always hated her.

Somehow, Lu Beichen was able to convince her to break off all ties with her best friend! Li Ran had thought that he was doing it because he loves her. It was only after she lost everything, including her life and even dragged Lu Sichen to death with her that she finally realized that he didn't do it because he loves her, he did it because he was trying to cut off all routes of escape for her!

Lu Beichen glared at Sun Mei Mei. "This has nothing to do with you! Li Ran isn't a materialistic woman like you!" He said. He can put up with Li Ran because she is a vital part of his plan, but why does he have to put up with this busy body woman?

"Oh? So you think that she should choose you because she isn't materialistic? Do you think that she should choose you over Lu Sichen? Where did you get the confidence to think this way? Do you think that you can compare to Lu Sichen in anyway?" Sun Mei Mei asked. She has always hated Lu Beichen so she did not hold back with her taunts at all!

Li An glared at Sun Mei Mei. She really hates this woman! In fact, she hated her more than Lu Beichen did. She really looked down on her. She felt that Sun Mei Mei doesn't have the right to speak up in front of her, a member of the Li family.

"Sister and brother Beichen have always been in love! You don't understand anything! It doesn't have anything to do with money! Brother Beichen is such a great man!" Li An said.

"Oh? Since he's so great why don't you get together with him then?"
