Debut

All the staff and even the owner of the Blue Bird Auction House are arrested and it is all thanks to my father's cooperation. We manage to save lives. Those men who are 15 above would be trained as soldiers in our army and women would train as a maid with high combat skill.

I personally asked my father to train Thomas to become my exclusive butler and Bodyguard but before that, I wanted to talk to Thomas. So I waited in my study room and have my tea. Thomas quietly enters the room without any emotions. He looks like a walking doll, a soulless doll. I told him to sit and have some tea. I signal the other servants to leave us alone because I want to privately talk to him.

"I thank Lady Calla for saving me and the others from slavery," Thomas said. Who would have thought that the former Prince of Aria would be sitting with me and having tea?

"Thomas, answer me honestly. Do you want revenge?" I asked Thomas which made him flinched and confused. "Wha-"

"You are the former heir to the throne of Agia. Do you want revenge?"

His hands started fidgeting and looked at me with his purple eyes. "I...I don't know." He looked scared.

I remembered that Thomas was physically abused by his half-brothers and parents as well. He feared his own family, the royal family of Aria. I grabbed his hand and caress it. I understand what he felt. He was lonely, scared and hungry. No place to call home and being whipped like a pig in the auction house. "Thomas, I would like you to be one of my people. A person that I can truly trust. Would it be fine for you to become my butler? To live your life with us, the Hamiltons to the fullest?"

Thomas suddenly burst in tears. "I will. Thank you...Thank you..."

Thomas is now on my side. I am a bit safe. It is funny to think that Thomas, the former Prince of Aria is now training to become my butler but what if he decides to take back what is rightfully his? After all, he was the first in line to the throne of Aria. Because of me, the plots will probably change a lot since I am avoiding the worst case scenario of my life as Calla Victoria Antonette-Hamilton. If that happens, then I would gladly help Thomas get what he wants. He is part of my family.

Currently, I am with my father who was still grateful for the Blue Bird Auction House accident. Because of that, I've told my father that I wanted to learn how to fight. Learn how to use the sword for my own safety. Of course, Mother also agreed to that because for her women are also capable to fight. Since Mother is on my side, Father agreed in the end.

At first, it was really hard and painful but I manage to survive after months of practice with Thomas of course. We've become best of friends and for that, Philp got extremely jealous.

Tonight, on the winter's ball, will be my debut in society and mother kept on telling me to talk less and smile more. As a lady, I need to be gentle and pleasure in the public's eyes. I also need to be strong and brave because I am after all a Hamilton and third in line to the throne of Telbia.

I wore a white gown. The design is pretty much like the ones on Earth. It is simple but elegant and I really like it. It's like I am wearing a wedding gown.

"Tory, come out from the carriage." Philip is standing outside, looking dashing as usual. He looks like a prince in my opinion. No wonder fans on earth really love Philip and would fantasize about him.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Philip. It is just-"

"There is no need for you to be nervous. Tory is a beautiful, loving and smart girl. Everyone will love you for who you are and If they don't, then they will suffer the consequences."

I smiled a little bit. My brother, Philip is indeed has a sister complex. Well...A bit and I am afraid that he might not get married in the future. I am also worried about my future but I wish that there is someone out there that can truly love Calla Victoria Antonette-Hamilton. "Brother, I wasn't that nervous. I am just worried that I might easily get tired. After all, this is my first public appearance. I am not afraid of what the others would say. I am a Hamilton after all." I proudly said.

Philip is also proud of me. I could see it through his eyes. "If only you haven't got your hair done, I would have messed it up." He mischievously said.
