There are many places on Earth in DC which are naturally formed nexus of magical power. It is basically an accumulation of all the magic on Earth in physical form.

One such place is Rock of Eternity , which is the lair of the wizard Shazam. All his powers originate from that place.

It's entrance can be found in Fawcett city, where Billy Batson will go on to live in the future.

Another such place is the Himalyan range found in India. It's a massive mountain range where many small towns and villages can be found scattered.

It was almost 3000 miles from Egypt, but with my increased speed it took only 2 hrs. I had surrounded the bags in my aura so as to not affect them while flying.

I was a bit worried about visiting this place and was planning to do so next weekend before I go to Metropolis for the show. But I am faster now so why not.

I was worried because Nanda Parbat is also hidden in these mountains. With not only Ra's Al Ghul and the league of Assassins, but it is also said to be watched and protected by a goddess like figure Rama Kushna.

But I knew my search was near the highest mountain peaks and the ranges are so wide that even the league can not properly monitor it.

Reaching near the Himalayas I see how bad the weather is but I had the belt on and my own aura to protect me.

After getting near the tallest mountain, and scanning it with my vision, I could see a small circular sphere,way underground, which was just black.

It felt like a lead encased ball, as I know it to be the only thing I can't see through.

I dived down full speed while strengthening my aura with bags in my hand through the hard cold Icy ground.

As I was standing in front of the ball I was shocked, as I can see it is just a black ball not lead. But this kind of black feels more like it is absorbing everything around it.

My X-ray can see through almost all magical illusions and barriers but either my vision has not advanced that much yet or this barrier was formed because of a very high or dense magic.

It was just floating in what looked like an underground cavern. I took the mace out from the bag and smashed it into the ball.

It sounded like something cracked, and an amulet fell through the disappearing black ball. I snatched it before it fell and observed it.

It was a golden amulet with a purple gem embedded in it, which was shining even in this darkness.

Morgaine Le Fey is an ancient and diabolical sorceress who masters in absorbing youth and energy from her victims and also could provide immortality to others.

She had lived for years and had many children, but when she tried to capture the kingdom of Camelot which was ruled by King Arthur, for his son who would stay eternally a kid by her magic, she came to face Merlin.

Merlin a very strong European wizard casts a powerful spell by which he merges the soul of Etrigan, his demon familiar with Jason blood who was an inside ally of Morgaine.

This was done as Demons cannot come to this plane from the hell plane normally.

Merlin then forces Etrigan who was now merged with blood to fight her. Seeing how resistant to magic attack Etrigan is, Morgaine flees, destroying Camelot in the process.

Morgaine right now is still hiding from Etrigan with her son.

She is searching the whole Earth for magical artifacts that can enhance her magic so she can reverse the spell which forced Etrigan and Jason blood's soul to fuse.

In the future, she will find 2 such powerful artifacts that have almost no cost for using it, which is quite rare in the DC world.

First is the Philosopher's stone, which is hanging in the bedroom of an archeologist in Gotham right now.

Second is this Amulet of First Magic, which according to Morgaine is one of the natural sources of all Earth magic.

It possesses incredibly powerful magic, which can do almost anything his master is willing to do. But the power contained within is not infinite.

Now that I have this amulet and the stone in the future, Morgaine will stop at nothing to get these things from me.

Well, she won't come to me anytime soon. And when she comes I will be ready.

This Amulet will be my magical power source or mana pool if you will.

I wear the amulet on my neck and hide the purple glow by keeping it underneath my clothes. I still feel nothing, I thought maybe I would be able to sense magic after wearing it.

Guess I really need a teacher. I look around to see if anything changed with the amulet taken, but nothing notable happened.

Which makes sense as only a very powerful magician like Morgaine was able to pinpoint its location after who knows how much time.

I should go back now from here fast, I do not want to alert anybody of my presence here.

I look at the bags while flying thinking how productive today has been. Then suddenly I realise that I will have to find a place to hide all these things in the house!
