18 Treasure Hunt (4)

The room was quite big. There were 5 things on what looked like a long block of grey platform underneath the drawing of the woman.

A silver coloured chest harness with a red orb in the middle with a hawk head drawn on it.

A hawk headgear in gold and black, same as the one in drawings which covered almost half the face.

A grey coloured mace with a round top and spikes on it.

A black belt with a silver buckle.

And what looked like a female uniform with boots and bracers.

In the right side of the room there was another platform, with almost the same items but it was gold coloured instead of silver with a man's uniform with an all gold headgear.

Thanagar or Hawkworld, was inhabited by people who worshipped hawk as their deity and it has influenced their culture throughout the years.

That planet was also known for its mineral deposits of Nth metal or Ninth metal.

Nth metal could negate gravity allowing a person to fly, it can also speed up your natural healing, increase your strength.

It can protect you from the surrounding environment by regulating your body temperature.

It possesses innate anti-magical properties, it can disrupt ghosts and spirits when in contact with their spectral forms.

And in rare cases due to constant exposure can force you into a cycle of reincarnation after death.

The last thing is what happened to the two Thannagarians, Shayera Thal and Katar Hol forcing them to reincarnate constantly , they go on to become Hawk girl/woman and Hawk man respectively.

The Thanagarians were a warrior race, aggressive and strong. They were also very technologically advanced and made various weapons and equipment from Nth metal.

But ultimately they were destroyed by a plague which was set upon them by a creature who could morph into any shape and thus harder to identify.

The only one saved was Princess Shayera and her protector Katar, who were away on a diplomatic visit. They returned and pursued after the creature in rage who fled to Earth.

In an epic battle they managed to slay the creature who had taken the form of a horned serpent, a powerful creature from their homeworld, who was almost impossible to beat.

But they were hurt and poisoned after the fight. The Egyptian people of that time saw the battle and treated them as gods. But they died soon after.

They died but the Nth metal forced them on a cycle of Reincarnation on Earth.

Now Katar gets reincarnated as Carter Hall in the 21st century but only this time he is an archeologist and during one of visits to a museum of ancient egypt finds a glove.

Attracted by it, he wears it, the nth metal within makes him remember his original life. He takes the glove with him and goes on to Egypt to find his possessions.

He comes to know that their ship has been dismantled and this claw of horus is made from all the remaining nth metal.

He finds this place and gets his weapons and armor. During his past life he has been obsessed with the princess and goes on to find her who is living a normal life as Kendra Saunders.

He approaches her and Kendra gets visions of her past life when she comes in contact with the nth metal of being a princess and Katar.

But Katar tells her that they were husband and wife in their past life and they are soul mates and they are linked together by destiny to reincarnate until they find each other again.

Kendra does not believe him but eventually gives in to his aggressive approaches during their training to regain their past strength. They marry and take the mantle of Hawkgirl and Hawkman.

They both join the JL but Hawkman with his aggressive and stupid personality is banished from it soon after. Hawkgirl stays and goes on to change her name to Hawkwoman.

But now I have the claw of horus and all their weapons, after removing the massive **** that is Carter, I will approach Kendra and give her back her possessions.

I wear the chest harness from hawkmans attire and push the red orb. Golden metal wings emerge magically from my back.

I go on to wear the belt too and I can feel that I can levitate and fly with almost no resistance even without using my telekinesis.

But the most useful part for me is that both of the things along with the mace have the highest magical nullifying abilities. Making me immune to magical attacks.

I pack everything in the linen bags I brought, as an added bonus I take all the various golden artifacts lying around. Which alone fills up two bags to the brim.

It's still 1 in the afternoon right now. I think as my control increased my speed got as high as mach 2 in the end.

I was planning on getting out of Egypt as early as possible as it's a very dangerous place.

With many people trapped here in seals including Black Adam and there is a very angry god who roams around Egypt punishing any grave robbers who I definitely don't wanna meet.

But maybe I can take a detour and complete my next treasure hunt early.
