26 Magic (1)

I close my eyes and listen to the ocean waves crashing on to each other. This sound calms me down and lets my mind wander like it was flowing.

When I want to get away from stuff or just to think something through, I come here in the Atlantic Ocean, in the middle of nowhere.

I just sit above the water surface cross legged and listen to the waves.

I am 12 years old now. Much has happened over these 2 years.

Lana and school are still the same, I have more friends now and oddly I haven't still faced any kind of bullying. They are all close knitted, nice small town people.

In the martial arts training, now mostly me and Sandra came up with new methods and styles to utilize our strength better. Carolyn, though unable to keep up with us, cheer us both on.

On the first night while eating dinner, Dinah told us about her life. After that day though Dinah and Selina argued a lot I could see that they had gotten close.

I told Selina that she could tell her my secret and left them to go home that night.

The next time on my visit, Selina introduced me to her friend, a redhead named Pamela Isley, who has recently started living with her relatives in Gotham.

She wasn't thrilled to meet me, which I knew why and kept staring at the flowers in her backyard the whole conversation.

I got her attention when I told her that I am gonna let Selina buy a house in the outskirts of Gotham which recently went on sale and it was being sold at a cheap price.

She knew that it must be her old house. Though a bit sad she told Selina that after she buys it, she would love to visit her house sometimes.

I already knew getting near Pamela, the future Poison Ivy won't be easy. But I have plenty of time.

After Selina will sell the artifacts in batches I wanted them to get a permanent place from that money. And as Selina was not ready to leave Gotham yet, the house in the outskirts, though a bit far, was the best place to buy.

I started training both Dinah and Selina in martial arts, maybe I should introduce them to the sisters in the future.

I have befriended a girl named Lena who lives in a private orphanage in Metropolis. We occasionally meet in the garden nearby her orphanage.

She has no idea who her real parents are or who funds her studies and her stay in this private lavish orphanage. But she considers me her one true friend over time.

She will never know that she is gonna inherit the multi million dollar Lexcorp because of me.

But that will take sometime as I need to prepare and perfect my plan over the next 2 years, as that's when Lena would be officially adopted into the Luthor family.

The thing which I am most proud of is my magical study.

I visited the Zatara mansion which was outside of San Francisco city. The House of Mystery or The House of Secret, It looked just like an old mansion with nothing noteworthy.

But the amount of myth connected to this place is numerous. But with John here I won't be allowed to roam this place as I please. Even through my scans it looked just like an old house.

John welcomed me saying Zatanna still had to complete her 'homework'. I have talked with her on the phone and she complained how John has started increasing her magical studies.

For the magic test, I was asked to repeat the chant "etativel" and concentrate on myself. I felt the magic which was invisible until now move, and I started hovering above the ground.

As I broke my concentration, the magic went back in my body invisible again and I came back on ground. John was impressed and said that maybe my alien species was very talented in magic.

He gave me books on magic theories and his personal notes, which he told me to remember from front to back and back to front. After which I had to learn many different languages and read books in that language.

John said magic learning is a long process and there are no shortcuts. Well me and Zatanna are almost cheats in magic so I wasn't worried.

From that day onwards, I have learnt so much more daily

Now I can atleast control the magic to not leak out of the amulet untill I need it.

Today they will be returning back from a show, and Zatanna told me on the phone that her father is gonna bring home a new kid who will learn the art of escaping from him.

I was just mentally preparing myself to meet Bruce once again after 4 years. This will be my best chance to befriend him.
