3 Kansas

I knew it was gonna happen, I was always waiting for it, I was ready for it. The day when I get all my senses heightened to superhuman or I can say superman's level.

There are thresholds I believe of how much my body can store the solar energy in it and when a certain threshold is reached my body changes and absorbs it to make me stronger. First comes the three easier ones: sight, smell and hearing which from the first day kept getting better and better as the days progressed. The second is the body which not only meant physical strength but also endurance, agility and durability, evident by the fact that I could walk on my first day and have been running and jumping around the house and farm ever since. I do get tired still but my endurance has been increasing a lot. If I didn't enjoy Martha's oh so soft body and those heavenly marshmallows I would try and experiment how long I could stay awake.Third and the most important as well as deadly, my eyes, which includes x ray vision and heat ray.

I have been doing a lot of meditation lately, to try and maybe feel the solar energy within. Feeling a lot like a cultivator of those chinese novels. I did not feel a thing yet, I do feel getting powerful sometimes, maybe I am still too young and my body is not ready yet.

Days turned to months and after 10 months my parents took me on a play date to their friends house who apparently had a daughter similar to my age. I was told so many dos and don'ts of how I shouldnt speak fluently and to be careful of my strength all the time, how I should be gentle with the girl while playing. My parents looked so nervous this was an experiment for them as well and a test for all my future interactions. This lecture kept going until we were in front of their house. They lived in the city, giving me a nice view of how the small town of Kansas looked like on the road. I was held in Martha's arms as we knocked on the door, looking at the size of the house they were comparatively well off I think in Kansas, not that it mattered much to me. We were greeted by a blond man and a brunette both good looking, after the pleasantries I was kept in a baby crib with a small kid wearing pink who had a bit of golden hair on her head. Lana was her name, I instantly knew that she was Lana Lang, a supposedly childhood friend and crush of mine in the future. I started poking her cheeks and hugging her which was playing around as kids I guess, she giggled cutely, which all the kids are until they start crying. It was a fun day for me. I had decided early on that I would thoroughly enjoy my childhood without any extra worries until my powers start manifesting that is. We went back to the house and my parents praised me for how well behaved I was and how they would take me out more often if I was this well behaved.

By the way I did decide that Lana will be in my harem. I have one more target in smallville but she won't be getting here until high school so Lana will be the only one until then.

Time moved very slow in Kansas, or maybe it was just my heightened time perception. I attended school now had my own friends and my faithful follower Lana who has grown cuter over the years. I was very smart according to my first grade teacher. And was taller than everyone in the class.
