39 Fortress of Solitude (1)

I go to my dad and tell him that I am ready to see the ship I came in. He nods silently and takes me to the shed where we keep the animals and then I help him open the underground trap door.

I am not surprised to see it, as I have already seen the pod lying here. I go down and bring it above the ground like it's nothing.

I Inspect it and find that it has a very sleek shape, black coloured with a small compartment space having a glass opening.

There is a metal piece which has a press in switch type structure on the side. I push the small rectangle switch in and the glass door opens.

My father describes the story of how they found me in his own view. In the end he hugs me and gives me the S crystal saying he found it inside the ship's compartment with me.

He wishes me Best of Luck and tells me to not forget them after finding it or Martha would be very upset. I smile at how simple and sweet my parents are and hug him again reassuring him that this is and will always be my home.

I put the pod and the crystal inside my storage with the spell.

Before going to find the Fortress of Solitude in Canada, I will have to solve a minor issue. The thing is that if I enter the ship and activate it with the crystal then there will be a distress signal sent.

Now I am pretty sure that General Zod and his loyal army is still in the Phantom Zone, so they won't be the real threats right now. But the distress signal would make earth a beacon for anybody to follow.

So I will have to find another way to first hack the ship and turn off the distress signal as it is still sending a very weak signal, one of the main reasons why the US military could locate it under 18,000 year old ice.

So, I will have to find Doomsday first.

I fly to texas and dive down into the Canyon lake while strengthening my barrier and manipulating the surrounding water so I do not make much disturbance.

I reach the underground bed of the lake and then the real work starts. I use my tactile telekinesis to the maximum and go down inside the ground.

What I do is that I use my ability and make space in front of me and fill the space behind me. While doing so I use my X-rays to the fullest of my abilities.

I keep going down for like a minute and I see it, a bit farther than me.

It's a huge structure almost indistinguishable from its surrounding, if only it did not have what looked like an empty cabin made from crystals in between.

Huge pointed rock protrusions are connected in every direction except middle from the cabin and in the middle there is a ring like rock structure which gives it the feeling of an orbit.

I go ahead and I feel no resistance so go on to touch the middle orbit ring. Suddenly all the rocks connected to the cabin including the ring change to crystals and they keep shrinking and disappearing inside the cabin.

After 5 whole minutes I could see that all the surrounding rocks are just ordinary rocks and the crystals are nowhere to be seen. There is a clear hard ground under my feet and a clear path has been made to the cabin.

I reached the cabin and the wall forms a door and I enter inside. I could see the interior of the ship made from a mixture of some metal and the crystals I saw before.

In the middle of the cabin I see a raised crystal platform with a space in the middle. I take out the so called command key which is the S crystal that dad gave me and insert it inside the platform which is the command centre for this ship.

Yes this is what I wanted to find, this is The Doomsday, the ship.

During Krypton's golden age, the ancestor of General Zod, Dru Zod - 1 or Admiral Zod, was the most renowned military commander and led a fleet of warships across the stars to scout for new potential conquests.

No one knows what happened but the command ship of his fleet which was called The Doomsday, crashed-landed on earth some 300 years ago and went underneath Texas.

The speciality of Admiral Zod's ship or his whole fleet was that it was entirely made up of sunstones. The sunstone ships were so powerful that they were able to devastate entire planets with just one ship.

Now the uses of sunstone are endless, it's most commonly known as Kryptonian growth crystal.

It can be called a miracle mineral as it has properties such as being light, infinitely programmable, self-repairing, storage of vast-power, could store incredible amounts of data and could transfer this data at light speeds.

It was a very potent construction tool, if programmed a small fragment could transform to large scale Sunstone formations.

The ships formed from sunstones launch a fragment of themselves as massive crystal missiles on the enemy planet, which would cause a large impact damage on the enemy structures.

However it won't stop there and will take a root into the enemy ground. Then it will draw the nearby matter and reshape and convert it into automated battle constructs who will go on to destroy the enemy planet.

It can be used as an interrogation tool to extract memories and project them to someone else's mind. It can also be used to disrupt teleportation.
