Somewhere deep in the North Atlantic Ocean

Kingdom of Atlantis

Countless lights seem to be moving above a humongously long bridge. When observed closely you can make out that those lights were actually ships of various sizes and shapes. There were also various people riding what seemed like different species of fishes instead of ships.

The bridge was called The Gateway bridge and it was a remnant of the old Atlantis. It continued on to a huge water barrier on a wall. The walls itself were very high and covered the whole city within.

There were hydro-cannons mounted on top of the wall so that people can't enter from above. The barrier at the end of the bridge which was the only passageway into the city was a technologically advanced scanner that scanned any ship before it entered the city.

There was a huge statue of a man wearing an Atlantean uniform holding a trident just before the gate. There were buildings on the side of the bridge and at the gate of the city, all filled with guards and various patrolmen on sharks following their routes.

Suddenly outside the city, the ground started to shake and crack, and from these cracks, large claws came out. Fearing a sea monster's attack the ships and the people on the bridge started to panic and return fast inside the walls.

A blaring siren sounded from the gate and the guards started moving into their warships. The cracks expanded and a huge monster with sharp claws and long tentacles came out, it was even bigger than their walls.

The hydro cannons fired rounds towards the monster and the warships were on their way towards it. Before the large plasma bolts were able to come close, a golden light shines from the head of the monster and the bolts get redirected in the upward direction.

The monster gives a loud enough screech making people pause and look at it. The Atlanteans gasp in horror as they see the Monster from the legends known as Karathen right in front of their eyes.

Before they start to panic, and before the assembled warships could launch their assault, they all hear a majestic voice.

"People of Atlantis … for too long you have suffered … for too long you have endured " All the people, inside and outside the city, look towards the head of the monster where a golden light was coming from.

"A once-prosperous kingdom has been drowned, shattered and reduced to become exiles in the bottom of the ocean" The people hear the words entranced, they feel the words, they remember the stories of how legendary Atlantis once was.

"The Sea God, Poseidon had heard your prayers" Hearing their god's name everyone grows respectful and filled with hope.

"The Sea God couldn't sit by and watch a once-great race continue to live like this any longer", They all pray and thank the sea god again for hearing their prayers.

"So he chose me, Superman ... as your guide ... as your King" They suddenly see a man coming ahead from the head of the monster, wearing a blue skinsuit with a red cape and a red S symbol on its chest with a golden trident in hand.

Weirdly even if they were far away they could all see that man, it's like that image was directly being fed into their minds. They could feel that the man was powerful and his voice magnetic.

"The god of the sea, Poseidon blessed me with the legendary Trident of Neptune and made me the ruler of the sea." They see the man lifting the golden trident and it produces enormous amounts of lightning from it. People are filled with shock seeing the legendary weapon in the hands of that man and even looking at that lightning made their souls shudder.

"I was given this weapon, so I could bring you all back to the surface world … So that I could make the sunk Atlantis resurface and return it to its past glory", Hearing the words they see images of themselves living on the surface world, they see Superman as their King using his trident's power and the glorious city of Atlantis rise to the surface.

"So the people of Atlantis, all beings who live in the ocean, come out and welcome your one true King", Hearing the shout filled with power, all the aquatic life inside and outside the city, swim towards the man and bow their heads respectfully in front of him.

Seeing such a magical scene of a large amount of marine life bowing their heads in front of Superman, made them revere and accept him as their god as their true king. The people started swimming out of the city towards him so that they could also welcome him.

Even the guards, forgetting about defending against the monster left their ships and came out to be near him.

"I do not accept you as the King of Atlantis.", Suddenly people hear a loud shout, and then they see a black-haired Atlantean come out of his flagship wearing golden armor and a trident in hand.

"Who are you to question the decision of the Sea God, Poseidon.", People see Superman pointing his golden trident at that man, the trident starts glowing golden with sparks coming out of it. Even all the fish turned towards the man ready to pounce at the King's command.

"I am Orvax Marius, the Fleet captain of Atlantean Navy and the future King of Atlantis … and I cannot let an outsider become our King", Orvax shouts at Superman unafraid of the surrounding hostility.

Suddenly a woman comes from the head of the monster to Superman's side wearing a white skinsuit and a silver Trident in hand, "Princess Atlanna", People gasp seeing the missing princess.

"My wife, I have been searching everywhere for you.", Orvax says, trying to come closer to her.

Superman hugs Atalnna's waist and brings her close to his chest, Atlanna looks at the people and then at Orvax, "Orvax, I am not your wife, and you will not become the future king … as I am marrying Superman, making him the new King of Atlantis."
