12 Chapter 12

A.N you asked, and you have received, here is a filler chapter for the rejected supes.

Sorry I didn't update this sooner, just after I recently updated the story, I came down with what later was found out as Covid 19, so it wasn't fun times, but I feel better now, and have found the time and energy to write.

Plus, I had chosen a name for the new department Butcher is now running, so no need to keep messaging me, although all of them are great.

And another thing, I did a little rewrite to one of the original wishes, so that our Mc had wished to also be immune to the effects of a red sun, so that might be in a future plotline.

Now, on to the filler chapter.

***Clark pov***

It was after Jarome had received his connection with the speed force, everyone was excited to see what I could do to help them.

There was Felicia Jorden, A.K.A. Ghost, I could not inject her with anything at the moment since she was intangible, but I could do something that would make her temporarily tangible to get a sample of her D.N.A. in order to help her.

I was looking at her in a special chamber, designed to make her atoms solidify her form, it used special frequencies to do so, but soon enough it gave her partial solidity.

Of course, one of the drones was on standby to take a sample, then it passed it to the main computer where all the data on the supes were being kept.

I looked at my holographic display, scratched my chin in contemplation, and said, "Felicia, you can exit that chamber now." And a second later, she phased right through the wall.

As she did, I show her the results of her test, "you see this? It shows that your atoms are in a constant phase of displacement, but, if we inject you with the right thing, we can help you gain more control over it, meaning you can go from tangible to intangible, and even float at any moment since it's affecting your weight to nothing."

Her eyes were wide as she looked at me and asked, "really? You can do that for me?"

"Well, as I said, I can certainly try, and even then, most of the work should come from you, I can't do that for you." She nodded in understanding, a smile plastered all over her face, as she said, "thank you!" and phased through me as she tried to give me a hug.

Her face adopted a sombre expression as she said, "Oh right…"

I then gave her a comforting smile and said, "Hey, it's the thought that counts, and I hope you can do this soon." She nodded her head as a tear started making its way out of her right eye, and when it dropped, it phased through the floor.

Then I go to the next one, it is Warren Nelson, A.K.A. Boobie face, he looks at me, and now, the reason I didn't have him wear a face bra was that, as it turns out, he could actually see through those nipples, crazy I know…

"Well Mr. nelson, your condition is something… interesting, now I can totally reverse the process for you, or… if you would be interested… we can help you have different power, more specifically, one that is appendage based."

He looks at me, and then asks with his muffled voice, "you can?"

"I can, it is up to you to think about what kind of power do you want."

He seems to think about it for a moment, and then says, "well… as a kid, I always dreamt about flying up in the sky, like a hawk, or…" then he stops and says, "never mind, it's stupid."

I coax him by saying, "it's ok, no one here will judge you." He seems to hesitate, but then continues as he says, "an angel." And I immediately know what to do to help him, and I then say, "Mr. Nelson, I think I know what you mean," as I smile at him while typing on the hollo panel Infront of me.

Then I have gone to the next one, Julio Sanchez A.K.A. Picante Balls, he, of course, stands in his spread-out position, poor guy can barely move without accidentally burning himself somewhere, I then turn to him and say, "Mr. Sanchez, it seems you have massive amounts of heat stored in your… reproductive area, and yet you yourself are not immune to it."

He snorts and sarcastically says, "yeah… haven't noticed." I ignored that and say, "well… I can give you something that would make you immune to heat, as well as help you channel all that heat away from your reproductive area and outside of your body, though it will take some training, and we will have to test your limits."

He was a bit shocked at that, but then gave me a bright smile, he nodded his head, and then I move on to the next one.

Gabriel Diaz A.K.A. Aqua Agua, was something I wasn't sure how to tackle, of course, I could always consult with Arthur on this, but he was busy at the moment, what with him establishing a second Atlantis and handling The Deep, which reminded me that he still needed to check in with us.

"Mr. Diaz, yours is something I'd have to consult a specialist before giving you an answer, but I am sure we can give you a proper treatment to help you."

He said nothing, just blowing some bubbles on his colourful surface.

Then I went on to Jessica Ritter A.K.A. Fang, and to her, I said, "Miss Ritter, for you I can give something that will take away your massive fangs, but it will mean that you would have an alternate mode that you would transform to, and it will be more beastly than human."

Her eyes were questioning me, and then she asked, "how beasty are we talking?"

"Werewolf beastly." I said, as I looked at the results, she was shocked and then said, "awesome!" And I went on to the next one.

This one was a bit grosser, it was Elly Lerman A.K.A. ranch dressing cum squirter (A/N I shit you not, that is his code-name.) his abilities… I was not sure how to handle, though an idea started forming itself in my head.

"well, Mr. Lerman." I say as I look at his chart, and then continue, "yours is a case we can deal with, though I have some ideas on the alternative power you can get."

"oh, don't worry about that supie!" I suddenly hear the unmistakable sound of Gilbert Gottfried's voice, and then I turn around, and I see him standing there, in a three-piece purple suit, with a black vest, and a purple top hat, is none other than Gilbert Gottfried, though if I had to guess, in this reality he was…

"Mr. Mxyzptlk, how did you get here?"

"ahhh, so I see you know of me, that is both good and unfortunate, as I have some ideas for this one." Then he popped out of his place, and then appeared next to Elly in his superman the animated series appearance and said, "ah this compound V, that is something else, so much potential, and while Kryptonian technology can do much with it, I believe I can do better." He said as he wiggled his fingers.

Then he said, "what powers can you get from a serum such as compound V? with the right tools you are only limited by your own imagination."

Then he snapped his fingers, and a puff of smoke replaced Elly with a humanoid turtle-looking figure.

He scratched his chin and then said, "Nah, too much Teenage mutant ninja turtles," then he snapped them again, and then he was hairier with metal claws out of his knuckles, "Nah too much other competitive franchise, then he scratched his head and said, "ah-ha! I got this!"

I was about to try and stop him when he snapped his fingers again, and Ely turned back to normal, and the poor kid had his hands all over himself checking to see that everything is there, and then Mxy said, "trust me, kid, you are going to thank me for this." And before he was about to harass the next one I grabbed him and said, "that's enough! While I do appreciate you coming here, I must ask, how did you get here?"

He waved his hand and said, "oh that? It was easy, I was in my place, tired after dealing with a different yous when I noticed a new world connecting to the omniverse, and when I went to check it, I find out that there is a new flash and a Superman I haven't encountered before, so I decided I would go and check him out."

At this point I had to act, the poor kid would not last for long dealing with this imp, and then I remembered, how one gets rid of the fifth-dimensional imp.

So, I then say, "well Mr. Kltpzyxm, while it was nice having you here, I think you need to go."

He gets mad and says, "you know damn well it's not Kltpzyxm, It is Mxyzptlk!" he shouts while he gets in my face pointing a finger, and then his finger starts to disappear, and he says, "oh… crud." Before slowly disappearing out of sight.

It wasn't too long after that when Elly looked at me and asked, "W-who was that? And how did you get rid of him?"

I look at him and said, "that was Mr. Mxyzptlk, he is an imp from the fifth dimension, the only trick to temporarily getting rid of him is to make him say his own name backward."

He was about to say something when his belly rumbled, signaling he was hungry, and he then said, "damn, I sure could use a burger right about now."

And then it appeared, Right In front of him, a wrapped piece of burger.

Both Elly and I were shocked at this, so of course, I had to conduct several new tests on him.

After he was tested, I had reached the conclusion that even though Mxyzptlk was gone, the changes made to the compound V in Elly's systems were now permanent, so I then say to him, "ok Mr. Lerman, I believe I have your results." He then exited the testing chambers, and I said to him, "ok, so from what I can see here, you now have the power to create everything out of anything, but if you create something out of seemingly nothing, it uses the calories in your body to create it, so I believe you should focus on creating things from already existing discarded materiels, such as used plastic and glass."

He just nodded his head and said, "thank you."

I then move on to the next one, James Grace, A.K.A. Boombox, for him it was the easiest one, "Mr. Grace, you can now have the ability to shoot out sonic attacks out your mouth, while I can help you have an actual, human head."

He didn't say I think, instead, the big hole on the lower part of the boombox shifted to resemble a smile.

Now the last one was the narrator, A.K.A Paul Jenkins, I go to him and after looking at the results I say, "Mr. Jenkins, yours is a bit of a difficult case, finding a way to help you would take longer than I had expected."

He just nodded his head and said, "that is fine, I appreciate you taking the time at all to help us at all."

I nod my head and we get to work.

Later, the drones had the syringes ready with the individual serums that were meant to help them, so now everyone that were ready was sitting in a row, and the drones injected them.

Some were injected with a second serum, and a minute after, for those with physical deformities, agonizing pain began attacking them, so I let the drone scan them, while I leave them to be, I know it must have seen as cold-hearted, but I knew it was going to be fine, I would come back in an hour, Mxy's presence had worried me, especially the words he said.

I went to my computer and said to it, "Kelex, how come Mxyzptlk was able to reach out to this reality?"

"well sir, if I had to venture a guess, I would say that by using Jarome Freeman as the new avatar for the speed force, you had connected this reality to the multiverse of which we are from."

That was not good if Mr. Mxyzptlk who exists outside the dc multiverse found noticed me because of that action, that meant that other beings who exited outside the normal dc multiverse can sense me as well.

A certain new god popped into my head at the thought, and I could only hope that I would not be as much of a target to him as any other superman out there, but with my luck, I would not hold my breath.

I then say, "thank you Kelex, that would be all." And I walk to the kitchen, and I have the basic ingredients for ice cream, except for ice, that I make myself by using my freeze breath, and I decided to mix a batch for those supes in my infirmary.

After I return, I see some of the more hideous physical deformities on Big had receded, and he looked better, a lot more human.

His friend, human tongue, had started to grow bones from nothing, so she was still out, but I saw the red taste bods like dots on her skin start to return and retreat back inside.

Warren was now with an actual face but was laying on his stomach as he was now growing a pair of wings out of his back, and judging by his expression, it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences.

I walk inside and asks aloud, "who wants ice cream?" and a lot of hands were raised.

After they had eaten the ice cream I asked, them, "so, what do you guys think to do with those new powers of yours?"

It was Felicia who said, "well… Mr. Superman, if we're being honest, we thought of going out and killing our parents,"

"Oh, I see, well then my offer to you is not relevant."

"And why is that? And what offer?" she asks.

"Well, you see? I wanted to create a new team of superheroes, one that would take the place of the seven, and I don't want murderers in it."

At hearing that, they were shocked, and then she asks, "are you serious? Replace the seven?"

"Why not? I believe you can do it, all of you have the potential to do good, and I believe that with proper training you all can do some real good in this world."

All of them are shocked at this and Ghost says, "well, if you'll excuse us, we need the room." I nod as I let them be.

After a minute, they let me know they are done and say, "well, after a long deliberation, we have decided to let them go, for now at least, we trust you, superman, you haven't lied to us so you have earned it."

I smile and say, "glad to hear it, and you'd be glad to know that I am not going to let your parents get away with what they have done to you unpunished, I know someone who's working on bringing down Vought, and that will include the parents who did this to their kids for money." I finish, and again, stunned silence from them, they would need to get used to this, I guess.

A/N hey there, I am back with another chapter.

So again as I said, I had covid and was unable to write for a while.

I am well aware this was short, but it was just a little filler chapter, and if you guys have any ideas about what other powers those who didn't receive a replacement power should get, tell me what power and to who in the comments, and give human names to those I haven't given yet.

So this chapter was also written in the memory of Gilbert Gottfried, one of my favorite comedians/actors, I was stomped on how to change Elly's powers when I had received the sad news of his passing, so I decided to add him to the story, may he rest in peace, and this is not the last we'll see from the titular fifth-dimensional imp, and in each appearance, just imagine gilbert's voice coming from him.

I don't promise I will be updating soon, as I am now alternating between chapters, but I will try my best.
